David applied weed killer and fertilizer and appeared to do a good job. I asked him why I had so much crab grass and he indicated that weed killer didn’t seem to be strong enough. I also asked if it appeared that the aeration that was supposed to be done within the last week was done and he agreed with me that it wasn’t done. Very disappointed in my lawn since I am in my second year of service. He said he would report the lack of aeration on the previous application. He was very helpful.

I prepaid for a full year of service, yet TruGreen continues to send technicians to my door pushing additional paid services without clearly stating that they cost extra. They act as if they are simply announcing work they’re about to do, not selling an add-on. This is especially concerning because I have children who answer the door that are not authorized to make any household decisions.
Several years ago, a tree fertilization I specifically said I did not want ended up being done anyway—and it killed four trees. Because of that experience, I have repeatedly told TruGreen that I do not want any additional treatments beyond what I prepaid for.
Despite this, they continued sending people to my home, and this year I was charged $130 to my credit card for a treatment I did not authorize. I now have new trees and do not trust that whatever they applied will not damage them as well.
Between unauthorized charges, aggressive upselling at the door, and past damage to my property, I am extremely unhappy with this company and would not recommend them—especially to families. Furthermore you can not even get someone to speak to at the local office. You are transferred out of the US to customer service. When I ask to speak to the local office they want to know why. Just terrible.

Well, at first this golf course lawn maintenance company did get rid of the carpet of dandelions in the back yard. But only because I stayed at the house to confirm they actually knew the size of the property requiring service and did the job I was paying for. That was a few years ago....now it is 2026, spring, and I get an automated call telling me a technician is on the way. Whoooaaa, stop, cease and desist all actions. Account is terminated as of 3/6/2026, due to irresponsibility of the local branch manager to visit the mistake riden lawn created by the employees he supervises. If there are annual and perennial botanical specimens flowering on the edge of the treated lawn or in defined flower beds know they are susceptible to toxin exposure and eventual decimation from the bully sales tactics of unannounced program upgrades and untrained mosquito spraying technicians. Stick with the pro golf course lawns and stay away from small or medium size residential properties that end up suffering long term from the aggressive sales tactics and untrained lawn maintenance employees witnessed in CY 2024 and 2025. Not in 2026, because your services are no longer needed. Lead from the field, not from your office! PS: Don't continue to send trucks out here. They will be told to not set foot on any property. And if the drivers continue to act ignorant about the status of the account, like the one did today on March 9, 2026, they will be told again to leave or be held accountable. Who do you people think you are? Fertilizer bullies and landscaper wanna-bes....

These guys were incredible. They removed a tree for us while we were at work, and when we got home, it looked like nothing had ever happened. The yard was spotless—no branches, no mess, nothing left behind. They showed up on time, were easy to work with, and the price was very fair. I can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be calling them again in the future.

PJ and his team were great to work with. I had called about a tree on my property that was about to fall, and they came out in a just a couple of days to take care of it at a very reasonable price. I appreciated the prompt service and good work. I definitely recommend this company.

We had to remove several trees from our backyard today, which were in danger of hitting other new trees that we planted a few years ago. We hired PJ & Sons and they did an AMAZING job. They worked hard all day, did a thorough job and cleaned up nicely. We appreciated how careful they were to protect our little trees below the ones they were removing and were reasonably priced. We STRONGLY and HIGHLY recommend PJ & Sons for Tree removal! They are exceptional! Before and after pictures attached (we asked for the logs to be left for us to use for firewood, and they stacked them so nicely).

Parked waiting to pick up someone from work at Wal-Mart. The driver of their truck is pelting cars with rock salt. I called to be told "It's no different than driving on the road". I getvout to check for damages and the same truck drives by and pelts me with rock salt. Only for the guy on the phone to find it funny.

The driver showed a lack of concern for public safety and gross neglance.

Dec 23, 2022, There snow plow hit my car. I just got a run round and was told he did not do it. He hit my car because he was the only one in the parking lot. Was told let the insurance company fight it out. The driver was rude and treated me like I was dirt. Terrible customer service. Think twice before hiring them.

They refreshed the mulch by my driveway. They originally created the landscape a few years ago. They were timely and efficient. I asked for a bid and once I accepted it the work was scheduled. Wonderful people to work with.

We contacted SGM about having a tree removed, they have a tree service as well. They got back to us right away and came out to give an estimate quickly. They were very responsive and followed up. They were very reasonably priced compared to the big chains, and were able to do the work right away. Jordan and the crew were very friendly and did an amazing job of felling a very tall pine tree, dropping it between power lines and the neighbor's tree with little room to spare. When they were done, all that was left was some mulch from the stump grinding. Very pleased with their work, highly recommended.

I visited for the first time two weeks ago.
Im docking a point because with COVID and all, none of the employees were wearing masks. Not even the person working inside at the register.
Im docking a second point because of the mealybugs! As a precaution I set all of the plants I purchased in a corner away from the rest of my houseplants - as I usually do when bringing a new plant into my home. The next day I gave them a look over & noticed the one plant had mealybugs really badly! I had to treat that plant & as precaution treated all of the plants I purchased that day. I expected to find a pest or two but I fear its gotten a little out of hand.
Im leaving this review because it has now been almost 2 weeks and all of the plants I got from them now have mealybugs. I have been treating & tending to them and its honestly a lot of work. Thank goodness I had everything on hand I needed to treat them. I understand pests in a greenhouse setting is unavoidable, but its a bit of a let down to spend $70 on plants and have to invest a lot of time and Tedious effort just to not infect your other houseplants. I had to get grow lights for these quarantine plants because the only space left in my apartment that would be far enough away from my collection is a dark corner.

I love it here! So many different plants and the employees are always super helpful. One stop shop for all your gardening and outdoor needs. Best bird feed store too!

Great – we always buy our plants at your store – they have never disappointed. I went once to your competitor in the area by the mall and was sorely disappointed. They all died – must have been hit with a frost and I just happened to buy them when they still ‘looked’ ok. They have no return policy and were very very rude to me. Asked me if I was sure I watered them. My husband and I have been putting in a garden for many many years – the attitude and tone was insulting. Told them I would never be back and I haven’t. Turns out it was probably the best ‘plant’ experience I ever had because now we just buy at Chapons!!!

This place has lots of beautiful greenery. From annuals to perennials, there's plenty to spruce up your garden. Indoor and outdoor, the variety is awesome and these plants looked very healthy. I'll shop there again.

LOVE this place. Great plants, can find some hard-to-find things here and lovely varieties of familiar plants. They always have reliable answers for my questions. I highly recommend you go there. They also have loads of vegetable plants and a very well stocked indoor supply room with soil, fertilizer, deer repeller and all kinds of other stuff you need or want to use for your garden. Can't praise them enough!!
