Tech was 30 minutes late, for the first appointment of the day... Offered no excuse, just not on time. And he came into my home coughing up a lung in the middle of a COVID surge without wearing a mask. Tf is wrong with yall? Cancel the appointment if you are sick and don't have another tech to keep it. Will be going elsewhere next time. I can't trust you to keep my family safe.

This is an Amazing place to use for all your Heating & Cooling needs! They are very reasonable and friendly, I highly recommend their services over the competition!

Called them this morning because my heater quit working. I assumed something would need replaced but it turns out some dirt was blocking a motor (inducer i think)from turning. He could have tried selling me something unnecessary but he got it running without any excess charges and explained everything. This honesty has definitely made a customer for life!

Weidner installed my furnace in February 2006, for the previous owners of my home. In January 2016, the blower went out. I thought about figuring out the repair myself, then called Weidner, and their tech showed up. I asked how much it would cost to fix, and how long it would take.
The technician agreed that the blower motor had gone out. The first price for the repair I got was $450, with the repair being finished on the same day. I thought that was reasonable, and I didn't realize that's how much this guy wanted to charge me JUST for the blower motor, the part that was obviously faulty -- I thought that $450 was the whole repair cost.
The technician went out to his van "to make sure the part was in stock." Knowing what I know now, it was clearly mostly to have a private conversation with his boss and apprentice to figure out how much extra to stick me for. The Weidner tech came back, and he told me that he would also charge me for 1/2 hour of his working time, $100, and the price of the service call, $99. Suddenly, the price for the repair had jumped to $649, over 50% of the cost of a new single-stage 70,000 BTU 80%-efficient Bryant gas furnace like mine (UPDATE: Model #311AAV036070, available online for $1139 at retail cost), just for a replacement blower motor.
I told the technician that $650 was too much, and without missing a beat he told me that he would still have to charge me for the service call, $99 for coming to my house and looking at my furnace for less than 10 minutes.
I called the Weidner number and insisted that the total repair cost was too steep and the price of the "service call" was very high. The Weidner guy answering the central number insisted in return that the $99 service call fee under these circumstances was perfectly reasonable.
I did not tell him that before I called this company in the first place, I had tried looking up the price of a replacement blower motor for my furnace model online, and so I knew that the actual prices for the part in question range from $170-$220. (UPDATE: The exact retail price for a new GE/Genteq 1/3 horsepower blower motor model #HC41TE114 is $238, with shipping, for anyone on the online market, not a Bryant dealer like Weidner). A bit more looking revealed that you can get a generic 1/3 horsepower replacement blower motor with a universal housing for under $100.
And yet the tech had insisted that he was charging me $100 for labor and that the blower motor cost $450.
I ended the call with a laugh and told the guy at the home office to get ready for Weidner Heating & Air Conditioning's latest online review.
I don't know if this is how all of Weidner works. For all I know, the company may employ a majority of conscientious, reasonably-priced HVAC professionals who don't PROVABLY, DEMONSTRABLY LIE IN THEIR CUSTOMERS' FACES and pad out their part-replacement bills for, in this case, MORE THAN $200, PROVABLY, DEMONSTRABLY, CHARGING TWO HUNDRED PERCENT OF THE ACTUAL REPLACEMENT PART'S REAL COST. Honest HVAC professionals who do not provably, demonstrably expect to collect SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS PER HOUR BY FAIR MEANS OR FOUL to ply their trade. I do know that I have documented that this is exactly what happened in this case (UPDATE: I have successfully carried out the repair myself).
In this January "service call," the Weidner people I dealt with behaved like little better than outright thieves, the last of the buccaneers, clearly believing that I would unquestioningly pay their extortionate price, certain that I would not be able to find out even in the Internet era how much of a completely overpadded ripoff their quote for the job was, or how simple the job really was.
It is, after all, January. They must have assumed I would be so desperate for heat that I had forgotten how to use my computer.
You have been warned. Think of the $99 fee that I am about to be billed for as a learning cost that you get to avoid. -
Danny M at Weidner Heating and Air (Burligton, NJ) was patient and very supportive and helpful on the phone. Great customer service. I cannot say enough on how well he treated my husband on the phone. He had a salesman call us back right away. We recommend them. We are in Southern NJ.

we had Weidner install central air into our home today. I would highly recommend them to anyone seriously considering air conditioning. Their men were professional courteous and very helpful in explaining the proper use of the unit They were in and out in about 4hours I could not be more satisfied

They came out quickly when I was having problem with my furnace; however, the same problem came back about 9 months later. It turns out all they had done was a routine maintenance. Called a different company in and they came up with a different diagnosis and have had no problem since. The pricing was also significantly more than the second company I had come in for the repair.

Can not say enough about the staff & service at Weidner Heating & AC. We had previously purchased a furnace from another company and after only 4 yrs it stopped working. When I contacted them to come out to service it, they basically refused. So I reminded them of the warranty, which I had, and they said over the phone, it would cost me $325/hr for whatever needed repaired. I hung up the phone and called Weidner. They were at our house within 2 hours and our furnace was back up and running within 1/2 hour!!!
From the person I spoke to on the phone to the service tech that came to our house, everyone was professional and friendly. Highly recommend!!! -
If you're looking for an expert with HVAC experience do not think twice for one. Weidner employees are that and they were there when needed. I was in a bad way, I called and spoke with Jerry, and Weidner was there. I am a Customer for life.
Thanks Jerry and Weidner for helping me feel comfortable with knowing you will always be there in my time of need! -
After calling many heating and A /c places and noone willing to come look at my elderly parents furnace in January that quit working. This wonderful company whom i called after hours showed up the next day and were so friendly and helpful in getting my parents heat again. Highly recommended for their caring and quick service. Sharon at the office was a absolute pleasure to deal with and kept us informed

Had called for a start up check on my boiler. As the technician walked into the basement of my home he looked over and saw my boiler (which is older) and said without even looking in depth at it at all, that I would need a new one. I asked why, and was told that it is old. Which I am not denying, but I have had zero issues with it in the 10 years I have owned my home. I told him the only thing I noticed that started at the end of last season was that there was some water coming from the pressure relief valve. He then proceeded to take pictures of it to get me a price for a brand new boiler which he told me would be $8500. Let me remind you that I havent had any issues and this call was just for a start/tune up and I am getting told I will need to get a whole new boiler. After going back and forth a little bit he said that if you don't get a new boiler then you could die due to the "fumes" that he smelled. There were no fumes. After he left I took both of my CO2 detectors from upstairs into the basement to see if there was any issues, by placing them near the boiler while it was operating. There were no alerts from the detectors. Finally he said that if you don't want to buy a new one you can put money into this one. You will need a new pressure relief valve and a pressure reducing valve which will be $1000. Still skeptical on pricing and if that was really needed I just asked him how much is was for him to come out, turn my thermostat switch to heat to turn it on, and flip the power switch on the side of the boiler. He said it would be $130. I asked him to let me pay him for that and I would be in contact because I wanted a second opinion on the matter. I have had start/tune up checks done before by other companies, but I have never felt like I have been ripped off. Other companies I have had come out for something like this have started up everything and checked pressure and temperature readings, verify gas valves and burners are clean, and bleed the radiators. As you are supposed to do with boilers. None of those things were done other than trying to sell me a whole new unit that was not needed and listing parts he could replace that didn't need replaced. I have since had another company out to look at my boiler that checked everything over and noticed that my old style expansion tank in my rafters was full and needed drained. That is what was causing my higher pressure and water to leak from the pressure relief. I paid $125 for that second company to come and do everything right and not try to sell me something I didn't need. No parts needed replaced. Just needed my expansion tank drain opened to drain the water in it then close it. Problem solved. Whether or not Weidner offers the same service with their $130 fee I don't know for sure but I will 100% never contact a company again that tells me I need a whole new unit before evening looking at a gauge or taking the cover panel off of the boiler.

He was extremely professional very knowledgeable and spoke to me in layman's terms so that I could understand what was going on. He even changed my humidifier filter.. I was expecting an emergency call like that to break the bank. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you weidners I will never use anyone else!!!!

We've had one furnace installed and two air conditioners installed by Jerry and his crew. Great guys - prompt, thorough, and fast! Both the home HVAC units they installed or repaired are working fine. I am happy to know such a great HVAC team that I can trust to do the work right at a great price! Highly recommended!

Great experience with Weidner replacing my old furnace/AC with new Carrier equipment. Jerry came out to give me a quote and was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in the system to ensure i understood exactly what I was getting and why it was the right furnace/AC for my house. He provided great communication throughout the ordering process all the way through and even after install when i called with some questions on the unit.
The crew (Jeremey, Noah, Mike, others) were right on time the day of install and very professional throughout the entire project. It was apparent how skilled they were, and Jeremy also explained the new features of the furnace to me after the job was complete. My furnace is located within a finished basement and they used drop cloths to protect the carpeted floor and after the job was done they cleaned up and put everything back the way it was with no trash or debris left behind.
I highly recommend Jerry and his team for any HVAC needs you have. -
Excellent service. Jerry came out to take a look, walk us through the project, and provide an estimate (all on the same day). They were extremely good at communicating, fair in their pricing, prompt, and professional in their install. They even worked around my schedule, coming on two different days (as I had requested) to remove the old ac/set up and then come back later to install a new one. I rarely write reviews, but their excellent service made me want to write one. I would highly recommend Weidner for all your heating and cooling needs. I would certainly use them again.

We reached out to a local HVAC company to upgrade our old furnace and air conditioner. Charles personally came to our Pittsburgh home and thoroughly examined our current system. He provided us with informed recommendations for replacement options, and also gave us a cost estimate and a timetable. We decided to follow his suggestions and were incredibly satisfied with the customer service, the technical installation, and the quality of the new HVAC products - furnace, air conditioner, and thermostat. We really appreciate the personal touch in their customer service. We plan to rely on them for yearly maintenance and support in the future. We are very pleased customers.

I had a fantastic experience with the heater repair service! I attempted to install a WiFi-enabled thermostat on my own but quickly realized it was beyond my skills. I called for help, and to my delight, Pedro returned my call right away and arrived at my home in just a few minutes. He had everything up and running in no time! I couldn’t be happier with the service. Pedro has always been there when I needed assistance with heating and air issues. He is honest, communicates clearly, offers great prices, and delivers top-notch work. What more could you want?
