The team worked efficiently and made sure to keep everything tidy during the repair. After finishing up, Jerry took the time to go over the new thermostat with me and showed how they had temporarily sealed the ductwork until they can come back and replace it. He also explained the steps they took to secure the outdoor unit and protect it from strong winds. Pedro and Charles were professional and polite, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable. We were also visited by the installation manager, who updated us on what to expect for the next phase of ductwork replacement. We truly appreciate the whole team for their attention to detail and friendly service. We’ll definitely trust them for any future furnace maintenance or repairs.

jerry and his team did an excellent job. while my home warranty company kept delaying things, jerry gave us a clear and honest assessment of our heater and explained all the options we had. i first called him out just to get a third opinion, but after seeing how knowledgeable and thorough he was, we chose him to handle our heater replacement. getting a new heater is a big project, but jerry understood what our family needed and was very patient with all our questions. his attention and care really made the whole process easy for us.

The greatest HVAC company I've dealt with. After almost 4 weeks of no heat my landlord finally called these guys. They even wanted to take there shoes off. They had my furnace fixed the next morning. They even kept me up to date on everything since my landlord didn't. These guys were raised right by there moms and dads. After dealing with jerks the last 3 weeks these guys made my Friday 13th a better day. I trusted them so much I left them in my house without me there. They are my heros. You can't go wrong with them.

Revive Heating and Cooling out here saving lives. My furnace decided to stop working while we're experiencing single degree temperatures and anticipating a huge snow storm starting tonight here in Pittsburgh. I was panicked and called Revive and another local business. The other business told me a technician would be calling me (and 2 hours later still hasn't) while Marcus texted me back right away while in meeting letting me know he could be there as soon as it was over (1-2 hours). He came straight over after and found that it was fortunately a quick and simple fix, it needed a new fuse. He quickly went to buy a replacement and my furnaces power has been restored. Service was very friendly and prompt and the cost very reasonable (especially since it was the weekend). I plan to utilize Revive when I get my furnace replaced hopefully in the next year. Highly recommend this business!

My furnace was recently tagged, and Marcus Kennedy (Owner), DeAndre, and Art were an absolute God-send! Truly an impressive and incredible team. Communication was excellent from start, to middle, to finish. They were extremely respectful of me as a customer and treated my home, garage, and laundry area with care and professionalism.

As a female homeowner, I cannot express how reassuring this experience was. They removed and replaced my furnace (brand new with warranty), installed new ductwork, and worked through drastic freezing 🥶 temperatures, snow, and ice on 1/27/26, with final ductwork wrap-up completed the following day, 1/28/26. They also removed my outdated thermostat and replaced it with a new, user-friendly model with clear, easy-to-read temperature settings visible from a distance.

Most importantly, Marcus Kennedy pushed hard to get the job done solidly, efficiently, and within an exceptional timeframe despite horrific winter conditions. That dedication brought heat back into my home when it truly mattered. 👏🏾

I recently used Gravener Heating and Air Conditioning and was very satisfied with the experience. Initially, I had thought my furnace was near the end of its life after being told by others that it was much older than it actually was and had an unfixable problem. I called Gravener to request a quote for a furnace replacement but during the first visit Jim was able to quickly diagnose the problem as a much smaller, common repair; he also informed me of my furnace's correct age - nearly half as old as I was originally told. This kind of honesty and professionalism should not be taken for granted. He returned for a second appointment and took care of the issue in a timely, professional manner, and at a cost which was very reasonable. I already have plans to use Gravener again for another non-emergency HVAC related upgrade to my house, and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone needing HVAC service.

I am updating my review from two years ago because I used Gravener again for service. My furnace was not firing up its gas burner and it was the middle of a January cold spell. They were able to get a technician (Brian) to my house about an hour after I called. The technician was very professional and fixed the problem quickly and at a reasonable cost.

[PREVIOUS REVIEW BEGINS] Since many will not read past the first few lines, let me say I was very satisfied with the service provided by Gravener's. Not only did they make the repair ahead of time, but they called me to give me an estimate of the costs and were able to re-schedule twice to an earlier time. I gave them five stars for a timely repair and for customer service. I highly recommend them.

Gravener's scheduled my service for the afternoon of the day following my call. On the scheduled date, they called to let me know of an opening that morning if I were available and I was. The serviceman was polite and professional and was able to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, because of the age of the furnace, the replacement parts would need to be ordered and could take a couple of days. Gravener's followed up that day with a call to let me know the part was ordered and would be available in two days, so we scheduled an appointment for the afternoon of that day. I was surprised when I received a call the following afternoon that not only did they have the part, but the same serviceman was available to install it if I were available. I was and it took about a quarter-hour for the repair and inspection. This occurred in mid-November; although it was warm for this time of the year, it was still an uncomfortable temperature in the 60s, so I was very happy to get a quick resolution before more serious winter weather came.

Always a very positive experience with gravener. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely continue to utilize their expertise.

Jim was on time and very professional, and explained to me all the "in-s and out-s" of the proper way to maintain my boiler / radiators. He showed me the best way to bleed air out of the system, drain the expansion tank, and answered all my numerous questions as they came to me. I was very interested in learning the best way to maintain my system for the future and Jim was very willing to teach and show me. I highly recommend Gravener based on my experience. Pro tip: I recorded a video (after he left) of all the things he showed me while still fresh in my head, so my future-self knows what to do next time!

Jim was quick to respond to our issue. He diagnosed the problem and had fellow service techs Paul and Brian out go our house within a week. They were able to install our new A/C unit and troubleshoot two additional issues with the circuit breaker and humidifier. They completed their work in a swift timeframe and efficient manner. Brian and Paul were very kind and explained the whole process as it was happening. I also enjoyed their company as we had varying conversations throughout the day while they worked and I worked from home.

We recently used Gravener for an issue with our central air. We were traveling out of the country and I used our smart thermostat to turn the temp down before we arrived home in 24 hours but the temp only went up. I didn’t have access to a phone, only Wi-Fi, and Gravener was the only company I reached out to who listened to my dilemma of being without a phone and emailed me back instead of calling. I was so grateful to be able to get time set up for them to come fix our unit as soon as we arrived back in the US. Any other company, we would have had to live with an indoor temp of 85+ for a few days. By noon the day we got home we had a functioning AC!

Jim came out and looked at my DIY AC job. He helped me troubleshoot and gave me honest good advice. Highly recommend. 10/10
