Woke up to furnace not working...called my home warranty company TWG.
TWG said this company is their 'priority' Bryant repair contractor and sent a work order...I called and was told someone would call me back...one hour later I called again and an extremely rude woman told me she sent a message to TWG that they could not take the job.
When I asked the woman why no one called me back she said IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO CALL YOU BACK!
Terrible customer service! Luckily Lakewood Mechanical Inc on Campbells Run Road was able to get to my house and make the repair within hours.

Fantastic company. They installed a furnace, ac and clean up the dirt and debri all in one day. They are very honest, thorough, and make the job is done right. I would suggest this company to any of my friends and relatives. I will be using them for yearly maintance when it comes time for that. Very, very satisfied. A great company.

I have used their plumbing and heating services for twelve years and have always been happy. I own 36 homes and am a landlord. This is not my first time around the block and I know what to look for in a company. You will be happy!

Can't speak for the entire "team" of employees for this company but when a guy comes and looks at your furnace, cuts a hole in your ductwork, looks around, checks the same connections 7 times, then takes personal calls and says he is going to have to take care of that with his lawyer and leaves the site without any knowledge of what was going on or even saying he was leaving. Yeah not a great experience, then when you complain about him he calls you and yells at you like a 4 year old. I hope you never deal with Dan from this place, he doesn't know what he is doing. I called another company and in 3 hours the problem was fixed. The worst part about this company though was the fact that Mike Staab called me telling me that we were going to have to replace the whole unit. It needed a knew element! Mike, stop thinking you're guys are the best, they apparently need refreshers in their profession.

Our furnace fan stopped working which in turn stopped the AC from working. I called Gillece who despatched a Technician and a Field Rep. They checked the fan capacitor to find it needed replaced. However Gillece refused to change the capacitor or carry out the repair on the furnace fan. Instead they opened up the ducting to inspect the heat exchanger. They informed me that the heat exchanger was cracked and was a carbon monoxide risk. The Gillette technician disabled the wiring on the furnace so it could not be used. NO CARBON MONOXIDE tests were carried out by Gillece. The Gillette Field Rep then proceeded to give me a presentation on new furnace deals they were running and could be installed today. If purchased today it would cost $9,900. This is when I called Staab & Sons on a neighbors recommendation. A technician was despatched within the hour. The Staab technician confirmed the fan capacitor was not showing any power and needed replaced. The capacitor was changed which powered the furnace fan.. Both the fan and AC are now working fine with no issues. Staab inspected the heat exchanger and could not find any defects/cracks. As a precaution the Staab technician also carried out a number of carbon monoxide tests, all of which read ZERO. My total bill was $162 and the AC is now working in the house. We know our furnace is old and will need replacing for a more energy efficient furnace in the near future, however we did not want to be forced into purchasing a furnace immediately. For a reference Staab quoted a price 1/3 of the Gillette price. Thank you Staab and the Technician Rick for your honesty and excellent service.

I have used Staab and Sons for several years and the service is always great! Recently, they installed a new AC unit and furnace for us. It was done so quickly and works great! I would definately recommend their services!

Branden and his team did a phenomenal job installing our new HVAC System, making some very innovative modifications along the way to insure a perfect fit in an extremely tight space. The team's professionalism was above and beyond.

My air conditioner broke on the hottest day of June so far. I have a special needs son with a seizure disorder and heat triggers them. When I called staab and sons, they came the next day to assess the problem, give me a bid and schedule the job. It could not have been any easier, the paperwork was all done online. They came and installed a brand new furnace and air conditioner in one day! The price was more than fair and I could not be happier.

They were truely terrible. My boiler stopped firing they sent a tech over. He"diagnosed" the problem, said that we didn't need the the damper motor, cut the wires to it and spliced them ($152). The furnace worked for a week and stopped. They came again, replaced the damper motor, pushed another button, it started to work ($100). This time the funace worked for 2 days. Called again, they came, didn't have the part, ordered it. Furnace didn't work 4 more nights in December with no heat. Finally came replaced aquastat relay (that was the problem), the furnace started to work. Now they want us to pay all service calls plus diagnostics call (?!?!). And the parts, one of them doesn't need to be changed. Wanted to be paid on the spot, but we already paid them $250 with no heat. The company really went down the hill fast, stay away.

Had problems with furnace during frigid temps. Lucas, from Staab and Sons came on time, diagnosed the problem within minutes and has it up and running in no time. He was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them when necessary. Very professional.

My 15 year old Air Conditioner compressor completely blew - the wires were burnt, legs of the compressor fried, and all right in the peak of summer heat in July. Staab got a technician out for me same day, identified the problem and heard out my thoughts and concerns. My new AC has been wonderful and at a price that didn't break me as a relatively new home owner.

When it comes to a boiler replacement (especially during the coldest week of the year thus far)...what you're hoping for is prompt service, a process and product that well explained and fairly estimated/

You also want a project that's executed in a timely manner (as promised) with eager follow up when the homeowner has questions about simple maintenance operations of our new steam boiler.

Staab delivered mighily on its promise and get right at it--being careful to give you ample time to prepare for their arrival whether its one or several days of work.

Very pleased with the convivial professionalism offered up by our workers--I'm clear on things I wasn't clear in before the summer.

We worked with Branden and he was fantastic to deal with. Not only was he knowledgeable, professional, and quick to diagnose the problem... but he was also so efficient and had such a quick turn around on getting us a new unit. The work he did was seamless in the interior of the house and I totally appreciated the cleanliness of Branden and his partner. I would highly recommend Staab and Sons to anyone!

I've had an excellent experience with Staab. They replaced my AC and furnace, re-did some of my duct work, and installed dampers for zoned cooling. The price was reasonable for the amount of work, the job was completed on time, they were extremely friendly and professional, and they even mopped up the basement floor before they left so there was no mess for me to clean. Since the installation a few minor questions have come up and they have been extremely responsive, coming back at no charge to make any needed adjustments. Overall, honestly just top-notch customer service. Highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again if I need anything else.
