We used Staab in 1987 when we first moved to Pittsburgh. The system they installed never needed a service call through 2007 when we moved to Ohio. Upon moving back in 2020, the hottest summer on record, we again purchased a house with no AC system. We received 5 estimates for this installation. We chose Staab because they were the most professional, quickest to respond, quickest to schedule ( one company stated that they would not install until October or November due to the hot weather ). Elizabeth, Ray, Mike, Brandon, Bill and Sam were all extremely polite, friendly and did an excellent job. I think the most important thing with me was they communicated every issue, there were no surprises. We have a quiet, professionally installed system and our Labor day weekend was comfortable, quiet and cool. I would certainly recommend Staab to anyone needing service or systems. They treat you like family.

Staab's service and reliability are the very best. We just had the two fantastic young technicians install a brand new HVAC system and my wife and I can't say enough good things about them. We will always have Staab at our home,

Staab and Sons was such a great company to work with. We knew we needed a new unit and Branden came quickly, explained to us why our unit was not functioning and set us up with an appointment right away. Our unit was installed in a few hours. Liz was also wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Nobody tried to sell us anything extra, did exactly what we wanted, and Branden and his partner cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely recommend Staab and Sons!

At that time they installed a new 95 % efficient Bryant Furnace.
Every year they come out in the spring and fall for a maintenance
check. They're a family run business and offer that home town
experience accompanied by excellent customer service.

They were responsive to my needs, did great work, and were able to work around various schedules to get both my furnace and air conditioning checked out and running....just in time for our latest hot days. Had a new furnace and A/C unit installed at my home. It was nice to see that there are good people out there still. The young man was very respectful and answered all my questions. The older gentleman was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. It was a pleasure having my new unit installed and the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I got. These guys answered my call at midnight on a Friday when my low-pressure steam boiler was flooding and gave me excellent advice over the phone within 10 minutes that allowed me to stop the flooding AND keep heating my home through the weekend until Monday when they could do a full service call without incurring overtime.

They even remembered the details of my exact steam boiler and how it had flooded the same way before, because the previous owner of the house recommended Staab & Sons to me.

Smooth experience for new AC install, from initial visit, to quote, to installation, and follow-up a couple weeks later to deal with a minor issue. Staab & son were both very efficient, neat, and friendly. Fair price, and they were the only ones who let me use a credit card without an added fee.

We have used Staab and brothers for many years. They have installed new Bryant furnace for us and also service our furnace each fall to make sure we are ready for the winter . Today it was to replace our 30 year old air conditioner. Ray and Branden came promptly and got to work. Both men worked well together and are very knowledgeable. We now have a new efficient air conditioner and a nice cold home. We thank them for always being prompt and courteous. We always rely on Stabb brothers 👍🏻

Staab and Sons had been servicing my furnace previously. When it was time to replace it was a natural choice. The installation Team was polite and curteous as well as careful and considerate of my home. They immediately covered my carpeted floors to protect the very light colored carpeting. Doorways that they need to pass thru while removing the old and bring in the new furnace were never touched. During installation they swept the concrete floor, several times, and disposed of scraps in a bucket that was removed once their installation and testing had been completed. Caleb and Matt are excellent tradesmen who made sure that everything was perfect, including wiping down the furnace when complete. For being young men in the trade their professionalism is to be commended. Their installation was completed the same as Staab service techs previously. Customer care and pride in their work must be instilled by their Management. Good Job!

Staab & Sons installed a new HVAC system in my daughter's home in Green Tree a day ago. The original installation date was projected to be a couple of weeks out. When we accepted the quote, I was told that they had an opening the next day, if that would be convenient for us. The estimated installation time was projected to be two days. A three-man team arrived the next morning, as scheduled. I was impressed that each member of the team knew that they had a specific job to do; it was a well-planned project. Each team member was extremely professional, friendly and courteous. The installation was completed in six and one-half hours, that day. All the old equipment was completely removed from the premises and the basement and garage were cleaned up spotlessly. I would give them ten stars if possible. We have used Staab & Sons in the past for emergency repairs and routine maintenance. I am proud to be a Staab customer!

I own a property that has two steam boilers and had been dealing with the the same company for 20+ years for service and needed repairs. They advised me that they no longer service steam. I was lucky to reach out to Staab and Sons. I was able get in touch with them on my first try, had an appointment set within a few days unlike others who did not return my call or were booking appointments 30 days out or longer. As it turned out, both boilers were in need of repair as I anticipated . Everything was done in a timely fashion and for what I thought was a reasonable price. Thanks to Tera, Doug, Luke, Sam, Branden and mom Elizabeth who all had a hand in this. You made transitioning to your company stress free. We have been long time customers with Staab and they always are courteous, prompt and thorough. Today, one of the hottest days of the year, we were scheduled to have a new furnace installed. Both Ray and Branden called before coming, arrived at 8:10 in the morning and in approximately 2 hours, the new furnace was installed and more importantly the A/C was back on. The job was neat and clean. We were extremely pleased with the work and the price provided by Staab.

I had a large old cast iron boiler that finally died. It had been a coal fired boiler originally, so it was old! One day, it finally died. A friend of mine recommended Staab and Sons, and I am very happy with the work that was done. It was a big and probably complex job. Branden and Sam had the skill and talent to get a new one installed in a day! I decided just to leave the old one in place and save them the extra effort of hauling it away! So now I have grandpa boiler and baby boiler. Everyone was very professional, prompt, and polite. It was nice to have heat again! Thank you!

Staab & Sons helped us replace a 35+ yr. old central A/C fan coil and condenser last October, and helped us purchase another unit for our home to be installed this year or next - the factory was advising of price increases and with Staab's assistance, we purchased and are storing for when the time becomes necessary. They were accommodating with scheduling, very professional and thorough while in our home, and they even fixed two additional small issues we did not know we had with the old equipment to make it safe and to have the peace of mind this install was done correctly. We intend to work with them again on all of our HVAC needs.

The installation technicians were courteous and respectful of my home and property. They arrived promptly on appointment morning. They were mindful of my pets. They gave a clear and thorough explanation of my new unit's use and care before they left. I look forward to working with them again and would highly recommend Staab & Sons to others.

The Staab and Sons team replaced and re-routed some ducts in my basement. Ray took time to thoroughly walk through the space with me, listening to challenges, and event was able to map out how/why some changes were made during previous owner renovations. When they arrived, they walked throught the process and plans. They were efficient and kind. I would work with them again!

Called them when I had problems with my furnace they said they would call me back as soon as they could come out it was below zero outside. Waited and waited and waited. Finally had to call someone else. They never called back. Wouldn’t recommend them not very good. On response time. A place that’s only about money. Don’t care about people.

We have been customers of Staab &Son's for decades. We trust them with all of our heating repair needs. Their service is professional, prompt and always very reasonably priced. They were just at our house on 1/22/25 for an issue with our furnace. We decided it was more economical to actually replace our 25 year old furnace. The technician was able to immediately order our new furnace and it was installed the next day. I am always very pleased with the service that we receive from everyone @ Staab & Son's.
