The plumber that came in was awesome. Very polite and very knowledgeable got straight to the point and the problem. Was able to decipher what was wrong and tell me what I need to do next. Recommend Southside plumbing and heating to anyone and everyone.

Josh & Ryan just spent 2 days removing our old, builder grad HVAC system and installing/testing an upgraded Trane HVAC system. I could not be happier with these guys and also the sales rep, Tim. All three guys were amazing. Very professional, friendly and HONEST. We truly appreciated Southside’s honesty, timely service, helpful advice and just the best customer service ever. I cannot stress enough how much we appreciate the great work/service from Southside Plumbing & HVAC. I’d give them 10 stars if possible.

The technician who came out was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my duel hot water tank the same day as the service call.

The young man who serviced my home on Dec 27 was awesome. He taught me and he went along ( better than YouTube with the visuals). His attention to detail was nice! He also took the time to give me estimates on replacing commodes with explanations on those as well. He’s an asset to SSH&P!!

Had furnace issues during Christmas, they were able to come over first thing the next day and diagnose and help fix. The technician and those whom I talked to at their office were very helpful, were readily available, and good to work with. Would recommend.

We've been customers of Southside Plumbing & Heating for several years now, but my last experience was note worthy. With the weather turning cooler, our furnace started to act up. I called on Saturday and left a message to try to get on the schedule for Monday, and Bill called me first thing and had Andre out to service our furnace. It turned out to not be any major issue, but the fact that they took care of us, performed some routine maintenance and set us straight on how to properly work our furnace and thermostat (yes, I'm embarrassed to admit, but needed some guidance). I couldn't be happier and will be calling back again to get SSP&H out to help us when needed.

So happy a competent repairman could come out quickly. He knew all about mini-splits. Friendly. Careful. Accommodating (he cleaned the filters, even though that wasn’t part of the job). He took extra care not to leave any marks on the wall or floor from the ladder. The price for the trip was right, and good job finding the house (most people can’t). Totally satisfied customer.

Andre of South Side Plumbing was super friendly, fast and efficient. He offered some valuable pointers to look out for, and he saved us money by making a more specific repair than we thought we needed. Once again, we are really glad we went with South Side Plumbing and Heating. We’ve come to trust them over the years, and they’ve never let us down.

So happy to provide a 5 (+) star review to Southside Plumbing & Heating - our new HVAC provider. We had the best experience with Southside last weekend (from customer care, product education, and pricing to installation of a brand new Trane Furnace and service for our AC system).

We've worked with Mr. Tim Vhalos in the past and, when we ran into issues with our existing HVAC system over the course of a weekend, reached out to him for a "second opinion" on the best next steps. Tim went above and beyond to provide feedback on what wasn't working and correctly diagnosed the issue at hand. He also helped us to weigh pros on cons on replacing an aging furnace and educated us on available systems and changes in equipment since our last system was installed. It happened to be a chilly stretch around Easter with temps in the low 30s, and Southside even loaned us some powerful space heaters to keep us comfortable prior to furnace installation.

The furnace was installed, efficiently and cheerfully, by Evan and Josh who were a pleasure to work with and the left the area immaculate. A few days later, Tim returned as a courtesy, along with Andre, and they performed a full maintenance check on our AC system. Last but not least, the two men spent some quality time with our dogs, soaking in some "Pittsburgh sunshine" before heading out to their next job. We all (dogs included) are very grateful to be working with such a customer oriented, reasonably priced, family-owned company and recommend them wholeheartedly! Thanks to everyone at Southside (especially Tim - we thank you extra extra for your kindness and attention)!

We had an awesome experience last week with Andre! We called on MLK day when our furnace stopped working, and South Side Plumbing & Heating called us back the same day and got us an appointment for the next day, which was awesome. The professional that came out to diagnose/repair the issue for us was Andre. He was so professional and kind, definitely the kind of guy you don’t mind having to your home. He did a great job of explaining what he was doing and what needed fixed. We are super appreciative of Andre and South Side Plumbing & Heating!
