We had two services with Armstrong Comfort Solutions. First, a plumber came to snake our line but wasn’t able to fully clear it; they didn’t charge us for this. Chris came for the camera inspection. The access was tricky, so he ran a snake first to ensure the line was clear before performing the camera inspection. Chris identified that the blockage is in the public sewer. He decided not to do hydro jetting because it wasn’t needed. We were only charged a very low price for the services. I compared several plumbing companies for jetting, and Armstrong offered the best deal. Chris was professional, patient, and reliable throughout. I highly recommend Armstrong Comfort Solutions!

Nothing but good things to say about the entire operation, from office personnel communicating with us, to the staff who repaired a very nasty situation in our home, in a timely manner. Our water heater broke and Southside Heating and Plumbing quickly installed a new one. They called back right away to schedule the appointment for same-day service. Ryan and Douglas were friendly, answered questions, walked us through their work and they did great work! We’ve used Southside heating and plumbing before and we will continue to do so because they are reliable, quick and nice to work with.

Had an excellent experience with Southside Plumbing today for a boiler repair. They responded to my call very quickly (which was important on a cold day without heat.) Ryan was great - friendly & professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained the situation and options and took care of it promptly. It’s nice and warm now and we appreciate the great service!

I had Ryan and another technician over to install a new A/C unit and furnace. They were very professional, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend South Side Plumbing! This is the best my A/C has been in years!

This was our first time needing a plumber in our new home, and we had a wonderful experience. Both Bill and Mikey were the best! Bill was awesome over the phone walking me through some of the inner-workings of the copper piping in our home ahead of needing service, and Mikey was super flexible the day we needed service. He was quick, efficient, and kind while also taking the time to teach us a few things about our pipes. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

When my 15-year-old furnace stopped running, I called the company that installed it. They said it was a bad circuit board and a cracked heat exchanger. Repairs were going to be $2800. Then I called South Side Plumbing & Heating which I have used many times. Ryan came up that very day and after checking it out, said it was a loose connection. He FIXED it for under $200.

Another GREAT service from South Side Plumbing and Heating!! Our technician this time was Rick, and he was fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, professional, and skilled. He was able to replace our garbage disposal, fix a leaky faucet, and diagnose the issue with our water tank, all in about an hour. Our water tank wasn't able to be repaired, but he expedited the process of getting it replaced. Within hours, another incredibly friendly and professional technician Kurt was at our house getting us set up to have it repaired. Amazing, fast, and friendly service as always!

As part of a larger project, I needed a radiator moved. Jesse was very nice, easy to work with, professional, and obviously knew what he was talking about, and emailed me a quote same-day that was below expectation and below what I had budgeted for the job, so without even seeking another quote, I clicked the link to view my quote and clicked "accept quote" on the linked page, which apparently does nothing(???). After a few days with no response, I called Jesse and we set up a date for the work (9/19) and added a repair to another radiator and the addition of isolation valves on both radiators being worked on. Brian and an apprentice showed up on time and got to work. While draining the system, they overflowed my basement drain and sewage backed up into the basement (not their fault). They dispatched a plumbing crew that took care of the problem in probably 30-35 minutes and cleaned everything up nicely. The plumbing crew then sat in front of my house for around an hour and a half chatting while trying to "get the iPad to load" so they could bill me and then they charged me for three hours, which I questioned and they reduced to two hours. So I guess I'm responsible for the 75% of their time that they spent having problems with their iPad. Great. I paid with a check that was cashed on 9/30. Brian (the radiator guy) was very nice and professional to me but was unnecessarily rude to his apprentice all day. He also was unprepared as all of his tool batteries were dead and he had to use my drill to drill the new holes in the floor. He also needed my tape measure and to borrow a pencil. At the end of the day (coincidentally right when his scheduled work day was done), after moving one radiator and installing valves and repairing the second radiator, he basically talks me out of installing the isolation valves on the second radiator because it would require otherwise unnecessary pipe cutting. I didn't argue as it wasn't that big of a deal. I attempted to pay the invoice before he left, but he said he "didn't know anything about the money" and that I would be sent an invoice. They left and I immediately discovered that they didn't clean up after themselves in the basement. Great. The company promptly sent me an invoice, but it contained the isolation valves work that wasn't done. I called and spoke to Jake (who took over when Jesse left the company) and explained the issue and requested a new invoice, which I never got. I called three separate times looking to speak with Jake or someone else about the problem and was either told they would get a message to him, or transferred to his line with no option to leave a VM. Weeks later, Jake calls me and leaves a VM asking me to explain again what was wrong with the invoice. I called him back, entered his extension, and got no answer and no option to leave a voicemail. On 10/25, I get a call from the company about TWO unpaid invoices. I explained that the first one was paid and that the check had been cashed and explained what the delay was with the second invoice and asked them to have someone send me a corrected invoice. Nothing. On 11/12, I get the same call, again asking me about BOTH invoices. I again explained that the first was paid and the second was never received and again asked them to have someone send me a corrected invoice. Nothing. Today, 11/26, TEN WEEKS later, I get another call from the company asking about the main invoice (I guess they finally figured out they already had the money they overcharged me for the smaller, unplanned part of the job) and once again, I explained the problem. I am furious. I was prepared to just pay the invoice on the day of the job to be done with it, but after the problems I dealt with, and continue to deal with, I want to talk to the owner (and ONLY the owner), and I want this whole disaster to be dealt with once and for all. Hopefully public shaming will help speed that up. For the record, the physical work they felt worthy of doing was actually done quite well...

André was terrific! Arrived on time and immediately got to work - installed smart thermostats, fixed the fan, inspected the unit, and did a CO check - everything I asked, and provided additional insight to the status of my aging furnace. When the time comes to replace it, I will be using South Side for that work as well, and will REQUEST André if he is available.

This company has always been responsive to our needs. We proactively had a new furnace installed. They were timely, clean, and efficient. Full recommend.

South Side Plumbing & Heating helped me resolve an issue with my water heater almost immediately. I called up and left a message about the issue (at which point I figured I probably wouldn't hear back), but Bill called me back within an hour. We scheduled an appointment for that day.

Ryan came by that afternoon and helped me identify the quickest way to fix the heater. There was no attempt to upsell me on a full water heater replacement or anything, in fact Ryan helped identify EXACTLY what parts I'd need and how to get them. He helpfully pointed out that if I obtained the parts first and then had him come back to install them, I'd save a healthy amount of money (he wasn't wrong).

I got lucky and the parts I ordered showed up the next day. I immediately called South Side Plumbing and they had Ryan come out within a few hours and finish installing the parts. Since my water heater originally came from Home Depot there were a million hoops to jump through, but Ryan figured out the exact best way to install the new parts and gave my water heater a new life. No more having to wake up in the morning and make sure the water heater pilot light didn't go out EVERY DAY. THANK YOU!

I have been using Southside Plumbing and Heating for several years and have been quite happy with their fast responses and service when something needed repaired or replaced.

When the time came recently to replace my furnace and air conditioning they were very helpful in selecting the best system for my home. Ryan and James spent two days doing the install and I was quite impressed with their work. They were very professional and courteous, and took time explaining the upgrades I chose for my new system. They were also very neat and meticulous with their work.

I called South Side Plumbing around 4pm and said I had no heat and they said someone would be out the next morning. I was able to use electric heaters overnight to at least take the chill out. Early the next morning Brian called and said he would be there in about 20 minutes. And this was on Christmas Eve. He was very professional and was able to find the problem, a bad blower motor. He explained this to me and what it would cost to fix it. He went and picked a new one up and came right back and installed it and I had heat. While he was picking a new one up I looked at the disassembled parts and it was quite complex with lots of wires, the fan, etc. He took the bad motor away and cleaned up the area nicely. The cost was very fair.

Joel was quick and efficient, and took the time to explain the process. All good!

Our heater stopped working on a cold winter day and this was able to be repaired very quickly. We requested assistance in the late afternoon and Andre was sent the following morning. Andre was very professional and approachable and quickly found the problem and repaired it. Highly recommended.

Due to a deteriorating chimney we needed a new furnace and power venting hot water tank. Ryan and John did a great job installing everything, answering my questions, and were very considerate of my dog and home. Pretty sure they left the floors cleaner then when they arrived.
