My experience with Stahl Plumbing was great! I called last night about a leaking water main and they still called me back and came out the very next morning. The value for the service was very good and they were able to check our garbage disposal also and realize it was not actually broken and didn’t charge for that. Great value!

The best plumbers in Pittsburgh, hands down! I’ve used Stahl Plumbing & Drain twice now and both times I was blown away with their knowledge and professionalism. They went above and beyond to make sure all of my issues were fixed and that I was satisfied with the work. Not only that, they explained what my issue was and how they fixed it. Competitive pricing and excellent customer service. A good and honest plumber is hard to find, so if you’re reading this, stop looking because you just found one.

We heard they were the best and after Dave finished the job I must agree. Our kitchen sink was draining extremely slow and causing water to back-flow into the dishwasher. Warranty company called two plumbers who couldn’t fix the issue. Dave comes, troubleshoots and clears the line in 5 minutes. Great job Dave!

After an emergency visit, we've seen first hand that he is by far the best plumber in Pittsburgh! (We even learned that he's the instructor for plumbing school, which just shows how experienced he is.)

Our only experience has been with another neighborhood plumber and we had no idea what conscientious business practice was until meeting David. The way he runs his business is eye opening and very refreshing. He puts the customer first and has the experience to know how much a project should take and cost.

We had a back up that another plumbing company couldn't fix (probably made worse to be honest), and we called Stahl. David came to the house the same day and fixed the back up right away. David has so much experience and could immediately identify the solution, whereas the other plumbing company spent hours trying to fix the back up without success. I’ve been converted and am now a lifelong customer bc of their experience and exceptional customer service.

We are absolutely satisfied with our services from Stahl Plumbing and Drain. They were professional, gave us several options to choose from, and were very timely in completing the job. The cost was reasonable and not outside of our our expectations for these repairs. Stahl Plumbing and Drain will be our first choice for plumbing repairs.

Called Stahl Plumbing for a clogged shower drain and they had two guys out to my home the morning of my call. Cory and Aaron were awesome!They walked us through the process every step of the way. They were fast and efficient! I would highly recommend their services for anyone who has plumbing issues!

We had Corey take a look at our sink disposal issue. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosed that the disposal was leaking from the bottom and needed replaced. He not only replaced the disposal but corrected another plumbing issue with the dishwasher attached line. He is a great communicator and is very consciences about doing the job correctly. Will call them again for our plumbing needs.

I needed a toilet replaced, but my bathroom floor is damaged and uneven. The company was willing to work with me and do the best job possible with my bathroom's less-than-ideal conditions. Chris and Aaron were on time, friendly, professional, and considerate.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I had some issues with my plumbing so I called Stahl to get it looked at. He sent out. Chris who showed up on time greeted me courteously and was extremely professional! Turns out a number of the pipes we're bad and needed to be replaced. It was a big job and I truly feel some other plumbers with a weaker constitution would have walked away but not these guys. Chris worked tirelessly for hours laying pipe, making sure all the fittings were snug and
any cracks filled. I truly respect this gentleman hard work he would not leave until we were both satisfied!

David Stahl did extensive camera work to help me navigate a drain and sewer issue. He thoroughly explained the issue, carefully showing me the video support and thoughtfully detailed all of my options. I learned a lot about drains! David's very knowledgeable and personable guy. I'll certainly be calling him next time I have plumbing issues.

Even though it was Saturday, Dave squeezed me in and fixed my sewer back up for a very reasonable price. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely use him again.

Mr Stahl did work on the sewer line and drains on a house that I’m inheriting. He was friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and prioritized the value of his service over his short-term profit. I would highly recommend his company. I plan to use their services for future projects.

Ruptured pipes over Christmas and this crew really came through and helped our family tremendously. They went above and beyond the job description. Harold is amazing!

Called at 8am about a clogged main drain and spoke with the owner David about a solution. By 930 Corey had arrived and began work. Corey was clean, professional, personable and helpful. Despite a more persistent clog than expected, requiring him to move his equipment, he managed to clear my drain in about an hour. The pricing was explained upfront and reasonable. Very happy with their service and will not hesitate to call back or recommend them in the future.

I had an issue in my basement with water leaking on either side of my water meter....less than a week before Christmas. I called Stahl after seeing they were close and had excellent reviews. They didn't disappoint! They were able to send someone that day and communicated when David would be there. David was on time, very professional and very personable. He fixed the problem in about 5 minutes and didn't charge me. First impressions are huge and Stahl was great! I found my new plumbing service. Thank you David, thank you Stahl Plumbing and Drain!

Had a main sewer line with significant grease blockage as the line was over 50 yrs old. A large plumbing company advised replacing the complete line for $16K. I called Stahl and Dave came over, put a camera in the line and advised the line was fine and did not need replaced . He did a flex shaft cleaning and the line is now as good as 50 yrs ago, saving me a lot of money. I would recommend Stahl Plumbing and Drain over any plumbers in Pittsburgh, the job gets done right and at a fair price! 5 stars!

Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend and I will use Stahl in future.

JULY 2025: On 7/24, Stahl replaced my Delta shower fixtures since it was broken. Instead of replacing with another Delta, it was replaced with Moen. I didn't mind that much since Moen is also a good brand. Went to use the shower on 7/25, and the tub was filling with water from the tub spout as the shower was running. Scheduled follow-up appt for 7/29. Chris & his apprentice arrived. Chris explained that we may not have been pulling the shower knob up all of the way for the water not to come out of the spout - which, he was correct. I pointed out the unsightly caulk around the tub spout, so he resolved that issue by re-caulking with white. Much better. He also explained about the pressure from the shower head when I asked about that. Once done, he made sure that I was satisfied with the job and made sure all of my questions were answered.
It's hard trying to find good, reliable contractors, but thankfully, once again this year, I am very happy with the service that I have received from Stahl Plumbing and Drain!

MARCH 2025: Called on 3/14 & was told someone could come out on 3/18. Ended up receiving a call back saying they could squeeze me in today. Guys arrived & quickly diagnosed the issue after I explained the problem. They even pointed out how the previous plumber misdiagnosed my issue. Stahl was clear & upfront on the repair work & pricing. They returned on 3/18 to perform the work in less than the time they had originally estimated. I will definitely use Stahl again for any future plumbing needs!!
