Huge thanks to Jacob, Derick, and Lou from American Plumbing and Heating! These guys went above and beyond — they stayed three hours past their shift to make sure my heat was up and running. They were professional, friendly, and clearly cared about getting the job done right. It’s rare to see that kind of dedication these days. I couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable service!

Absolutely the worst plumbing experience I have ever had. American Plumbing and Heating (sent by American Home Shield) caused thousands of dollars in damage to my home:

Put a hole in my tub during initial cleaning, scratched it with tools, and then burst a brass pipe while trying to fix a clog.

Installed a makeshift patch, hammered excessively, and admitted to cutting extra material unnecessarily — now my tub squeaks every time it’s used.

Improperly installed an outdoor faucet that leaked into my basement, flooding near my main circuit box.

Cut into a wall that their own manager admitted was not necessary.

Replaced my toilet seat with the cheapest, ill-fitting model without asking me.

Refused to provide insurance information despite repeated requests.

Cheap parts, careless work, and zero accountability. If you value your home, do not let these people anywhere near it.

I was having faults on my boiler leading to no hot water, and Jim was able to get on the phone with me right away and walk me through the troubleshooting process. I didn’t even have to pay for a technician to visit, and Jim was extremely helpful and clear in his explanations. I had my hot water back within 30 minutes. Amazing!

Great, prompt service and communication. The technician even came out on a Saturday to install my new faucet and explained and demonstrated all the features. Will definitely recommend to others.

Mr. Rooters is my go-to for plumbing needs. Both times I've hired them they were prompt, professional, and happy to explain the problem and answer all of my questions. The pipe they repaired for me has given me zero issues since, and they helped me identify a leak in my house that turned out not to be a plumbing problem at all, but the plumber didn't leave until we had identified the source. Their office staff is also very nice and found a coupon for me without being asked.

Jon at Mr. Rooter Plumbing provided an exceptional experience. He arrived the same day we called and was incredibly friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. He thoroughly explained our options for fixing a plumbing issue in our basement, weighing the pros and cons of each. His expertise and professionalism made us feel confident in our decision. Jon is a genuinely kind and talented individual.

Shawn from Mr. Rooter was exemplary!
As first-time home owners, the last thing we wanted to deal with in our initial year in our house was to face a major home repair project. When we experienced a major plumbing issue, we had many anxieties—cost, finding a reliable service, who would be in our home—to just name a few. Shawn eased all our worries and even made us laugh as he did it! He explained everything that was going on to us, went over our options honestly and knowledgeably, and was very respectful of our space. He even showed us some important features of our older home's plumbing system and went above and beyond in making sure we understand everything. We felt like he truly had our best interests in mind and was a pleasure and a hoot to work with! While we would obviously have preferred to not have needed a plumber in the first place, we are glad that we got Shawn. Mr. Rooter should consider themselves lucky to have such a fantastic and proficient employee! We would absolutely recommend him to anyone we know. :)

The service I recieved tonight from Mr Thomas was outstanding. Not only did he respond in a timely manor but he also fixed something that wasn’t part of the original complaint. He was professional and extremely friendly. He came in here and got right to fixing the issue. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Mr rooters and Mr Thomas himself for any plumming problem.

Called on a Saturday morning with a clogged drain. Very friendly phone service, had a call back within 2 minutes from a tech saying they could be here within 2 hours. Thomas had the problem cleared up very quickly and he was super friendly. Quick service, only took about an hour and half to handle the problem. I was beyond happy with the service from phone call to completion.

Excellent service! Technician was here within 2 hours of initial call. Contacted us before coming so he could be sure he had all the parts he would need. The day was cold, windy and snowing at times but Sahwn and Eric never complained. Will definitely call them again!

Kareem was wonderful. He unclogged the kitchen sink and explained very well what the issue was, what was needed, and then how to maintain it. He was efficient but not rushed and took the time to ask and answer questions. What a pleasant person to interact with. I would definitely recommend their services.

We had a great experience with Mr. Rooter Plumbing & Heating, especially working with Thomas and his crew. I called because the main line from our house to the septic system was blocked, and they came out the very same day and fixed the issue quickly.

They also ran cameras through the line, explained clearly that the pipe needed to be replaced, and provided us with a quote. I contacted two other companies for comparison, and Mr. Rooter gave us the best price by far.

What really impressed me was their creativity and professionalism. We have a very low deck, and the other companies wanted to remove deck boards to do the work. Thomas and his crew were able to dig underneath without touching the deck at all, which saved us a lot of hassle.

Everyone was outstanding — from the office staff answering the phones to the workers on site. Professional, honest, efficient, and respectful throughout the entire process. They have definitely become our family plumbing company, and I highly recommend them!

Exceptional work!! Very happy. Russell went above and beyond to make the yard look like it was never touched. I was not inconvenienced at all with using water or the system while being installed. From start to finish everyone I came in contact with was professional and courteous!

The technician Rob Hall was great, communication was perfect and he provided good advice to help us protect our system.

We had our septic serviced yesterday by wind River. Our technician was Rob Hall. Rob is the best! Extremely professional, thorough and very friendly. I am a general contractor and know something about septic systems cause we have installed them. I can tell you, Rob is awesome. I will only request him in the future. All joking aside, Rob knows his shit regarding septic systems.

Rob Hall did a great job and checked in before the service. After service he offered advice on what he found while pumping.

Septic tank was emptied by Rob! He was very pleasant and efficient. Explained all he was doing . An overall nice guy and a great experience!!!

Jeffery did a great job! The dig was clean and neat, dirt wasn't thrown all over the place. I like the follow up to the service, all my questions were answered and I like the recommendations too. I will definetly use Wind River next year!

Our septic system pump out was conducted quickly and professionally. Rob even put down some grass seed where he had to disturb the lawn to remove the cover. He was very personable, too.
