I had a leak in my front yard that was filling up my meter box. Called Ralph and he and his helper Tony came out on a Saturday and spent most of the day digging under my sidewalk to find and fix the leak. They did a great job and Ralph was really great talking with my daughter as well as she was asking him lots of questions about what he was doing 😂!

I needed a plumber to take care of various items at our investment property. I’m from out of state & our realtor recommended Ralph’s. I was very pleased with the service. He (Troy I believe was his name) was early, professional, knowledgeable, friendly & cleaned up everything when he was finished and everything works. Also when I called to inquire about their services & then again to make the appt, the office staff was super helpful & friendly. We have more work/updates that we would like to do on that house & we will definitely call Ralph’s again!

Ralphs Plumbing which is located in minot & I needed them in Tioga right away was the Only plumbing company that would come asap, everyone wants to know the cost, if you can’t do the job yourself or don’t have the time it really doesn’t matter, they did the job I needed done and did it right, bottom line I would use them again without hesitation. A little note of interest, I called, e-mailed 5 plumbing services in williston, not one call back from leaving messages & not one returned e-mail so that should tell you something about them! Thanks again Ralphs for a job well done.

I called with a shower drain issue the Thursday after Christmas and they came out that Friday. Fixed the issue and the bill was very reasonable. Would recommend!

Set up a time for them to come fix our leaky bathroom shower handle. Scheduled for 2:00 pm. Didn't show up until 2:58 pm. Finished up the job at 3:51 pm. Charged us for a hour and a half of labor and left a mess in the bathtub after his job. Called them to ask about the Time of the labor and the receptionist replies "I just bill you for what they write in the log" Thanks for the help.

Definitely a 5 star business. They have been our condo 8 unit building plumber for a while now. I called today Friday 9.1.2023 (right before the Labor Day weekend) as the building hot water heater was not working. They were here here in apx 1 1/2 hours despite having a full schedule!! Love them, it was fixed in less than a 1/2 hour! I have to give this company a big👍

Bauer sent out one their plumbers to "repair" our shower. He was a nice guy but he didn't really inspection much just saw the screws were a little loose on the faucet faceplate and claimed that was the problem so he tightened them and left. Took him about 10 minutes and got charged $85! That is way too expensive for him to not fix the problem. Had someone else come out and look at it and they found a crack in the drain pipe so they replaced the pipe and everything works great now. The only thing they really have going for them is that through the whole process they are nice to their customers other than that they charge way too much for doing hardly any work and not solving the problem.

Excellent customer service. Called on a Friday afternoon with a plumbing emergency. They were to our house within 15 min and had taken care of the problem within 30 min. A lifesaver since it was right before the weekend.
I’ll definitely use them again should the need arise. -
Had toilet installation by Bauer sometime later notice it leaking. Called and they responded very quickly. It appeared that the wax ring they installed was leaking and fixed it, then I received a bill for the fix, I had assumed that there would've been some adjustment as it was their install that was leaking. I went out to their office to pay the bill and mention that they had done the original install. The man I talked to said the original screws where to short. I again stated that it was their install. He said he would look into it. I paid the bill and left. Heard nothing, except a few weeks later was billed again for the same thing that I had paid for. Update, called about second bill, they said it just a mistake (that happens) and they had not cashed my check and I would not be billed. Everything worked out.

Super friendly and quick service, definitely recommend them! Removed and installed a new kitchen sink and faucet in no time

Did not come because of "the weather". It was snowing less than 2 inches with total visibility? So poor to say" I am not sending out my guys in this weather!" How ridiculous, this isnt Alabama. It's North Dakota. This weather is normal for this time of year. I am sure every worker has a pickup to drive. Very very poor excuse. Got a better plumber to come do the job right!

I couldn't be more happy with Northern Plains. Friendly folks and honesty go a long way with them. The gentleman that just fixed my overflow valve was such a class act. Made sure to tell me everything he saw, what he was doing and what exactly was happening. Super friendly and efficient. They have a customer for life. Highly recommend.

We would like to thank Russ for his prompt service and professionalism. He has been to our house multiple times and is always a pleasure to work with. We would not want any other plumber to assist us with our needs. A++++ 100% recommend.

I had my exhaust pipe frozen over during an extreme cold snap. Northern Plains sent a repairman the same day I called and he was able to quickly get the pipe cleared and my heat back on. Hourly rate was very reasonable too!

I had Russ come and fix a leaking P-drain in my bathroom. Russ was rude to my daughter who let him in and told me on the phone that my P-drain that leaked wasn’t the reason sewer gas smell was emitting from the drain but the Bismarck water. Then Russ told me to get another plumber after I disagreed with him. Russ did say he fixed my leaking P-drain. I called the manager to tell them what Russ said and his attitude towards customers but that was four days ago and o have yet to have the manager return my call. I have had this service many times in the past but won’t use them after this experience. I took Russ advise and next time I need a plumber I’ll call a different business.

We called today to see about getting someone to replace a shut off valve on a toilet. Within 30 minutes the tech arrived. Russ was very friendly and professional. He not only replaced the shut off valve but also addressed 2 other small fixes. Thanks again Russ. We will definitely request you in the future!

I can't give them a zero. I called for sewer leak. I was asked if I was a current customer. I explained that they did all the plumbing, heating, and cooling when I built my house about 12 years ago. I also explained that they did my plumbing, heating, and cooling when I finished my basement 7 years ago. The person who answered, asked if they had been back since. I said, yes probably for furnace or air conditioner maintenance. I was told "we are booking pretty far out" and she promptly hung up the phone. Very poor customer service. Apparently all that work we had done means we aren't a current customer. They will never get another penny from me, but obviously that doesn't matter.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I’m not someone who writes reviews but I am making a point to post this. We have purchased a water heater, new AC, and almost purchased a furnace from them all in the last 3 years. I now question whether or not we actually needed to replace our water heater and AC, because they heavily pitched us on just buying a new one and that time we trusted them. When our furnace stopped working, we called them yet again and their tech came out and spent a couple hours trying to fix the problem before deciding we needed a new motherboard. He contacted “his reps” and we waited for a week for “his reps” to ultimately send the wrong part. No one at northern plains realized this and the tech came out and worked on putting the wrong motherboard in for a few hours. When the tech eventually figured out it was the wrong part, he contacted “his rep” and they said they actually can’t get our motherboard anymore. Thus, we would have to buy a whole new furnace. By this point, we were without heat for 2+ weeks in mid to late October with two young kids. Then the sales guy calls me to pitch me his quotes on a new furnace and talks down to me because I’m a woman, telling me maybe I should speak with my husband about it. Disgusting. He gives me a quote that is about $1500 higher than the other company we ultimately went with. Fast forward to now and this company has the guts to send us a bill for the second visit that was a complete waste of their tech’s time and ours. The tech fumbled around doing nothing the entire time he was here the second time before realizing it was the wrong part. To be clear, we are MORE than happy to pay for his time for the initial visit when we didn’t know what was wrong and he ran diagnostics, but it’s not our fault their “rep” sent the wrong part and sent their tech on a wild goose chase for 3 hours. Send the bill to their rep or eat the cost. If the rep had told them they couldn’t get the part in the first place, it would have been over with right there. When my husband called to argue this point, the sales guy acted like he was doing us a huge favor by taking off some of the cost of the second visit, but wouldn’t remove it altogether. We shouldn’t be paying for their rep’s mistake. Absolutely sleazy way of doing business. I have already told multiple people never to work with this company and plan to tell everyone who will listen never to work with them. This is NOT how you treat people, especially good customers who have already purchased an AC and water heater through you. Shame on you.

Warning, You’ll be charged for an incompetent service man for on the job training, and they’ll bill you for uncompleted work . tell you they ordered parts when they didn't , and leave you and your tenants out in the cold for weeks. They certainly aren’t the reliable honest company of the past.
Spoke to owner, very rude and full of false accusations. -
We called them with a question about a furnace we had put in. Found them to be extremely rude people. As my wife was asking a question the owner hung up on her. We feel it was because he figured he wasn't going to make any money on this job. Would never call them again or do business with them.

I had Mandan Plumbing and heating rough in a bathroom. For the 16.5 man hours worked, I was billed for 38.75 hours plus trip fees. $3280 in labor to rough in a bathroom!
Don't let these guys onto your property unless you have a solid contract. I made the mistake of trusting they were going to be honest. Now I have a $4101 bill to rough in a bathroom.
