We added a to our upstairs landing. The job was done quickly and professionally. They were clean and neat, and the results were exactly what we wanted.

Great experience with this team. They were prompt, efficient, and finished ahead of schedule! We have used plenty of contractors in the past, and this was by far our best experience in getting a job done.

Highly recommend these guys - they were very responsive, prompt, cleaned up their messes. We hired them to remove/install new backsplash in the kitchen, they also repaired our garage door and replaced a light fixture. I would hire them again for future projects for sure. They did a great job.

They are best in the area. I get the service done last week and it was up to the mark. I get my kitchen and bathroom remodelling done. Tyson was very polite, and easy to communicate as I made a request at the last minute which was accepted by him.

After a couple of frustrating experiences with other contractors, I’m thrilled to have found Johnsen Industries. We first hired them to remodel out bathroom. After that successful experience, we hired them to build an accessory kitchen and add a ramp to our deck for my father’s wheelchair. We’ve been pleased with the quality and speed of their work and the clear communication about projects. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again and recommend them to others.

We had LVP flooring installed and it looks great. We were very happy with the results. Tyson was on time, did the job in the time estimated and at the end of the job, made sure our home was clean and looking brand new. Would definitely reach out to Johnsen Industries for future work.

Working with Jason and Tyson was a pleasure. We originally had them do our kitchen (the blue one) and our primary bathroom (the turquoise spa.) Tyson did impeccable work. He was on time every day and got a lot of work done each day. We were often updated on progress and they were easy to keep in contact with. We asked them back to do our guest bathroom and work on our living room windows and fireplace. Again, Tyson did great work and has good attention to detail. When people see the renovations, they say it looks like out of a magazine. We're very pleased with their services . They brought my renovation vision to life!

Could not have been happier with the work they did. Jason and Tyson did detailed planning meetings with taking the time to address all concerns and allow for adjusting details. Great communication and feedback with regards to design choices. Provided an accurate timeline with frequent updates. The work done was meticulous and exactly to our desired outcome. Took extra care to make our entire household comfortable with the remodel process. Tyson's attention to detail was amazing throughout the remodel. They handled all the communication and coordination with other service providers and made the process very easy on our end. We hired Johnson Industries to remodel our bathroom and shower area after a leak. They did an excellent job and kept us updated throughout the process. We will hire them again if and when we need more work done.

I felt like I had to hold their hand. Had to send them how to videos, 1 for therma-glass shower pan and walls due to them doing it incorrectly. Also, had to send them video on how to instal marmoleum for which they bought the wrong adhesive. When I told them it had to be a special adhesive, I had to call the company so that I could get the specific reason why regular adhesive could not be used. I shouldn’t have to do that, they should have done that and watched the videos without me having to send them the link. At this point I knew I made a mistake.
I told them no particle board with mortar directly on top, they did it anyway and told me they have done 100’s of bathrooms this way. I had to make them tear it out and do it over.
They put in new walls and the texture was terrible. My husband asked them to redo them but instead they spent a whole day sanding washing and re-texturing only for them to still look awful. They were sloped and wavy from not being shimmed. Some corners were rounded and tape was loose. There were thick ridges. After telling them we didn’t want them to come back , we had 3 sheet rock companies come in to estimate fixing. One said all the walls needed to come out because they would not work over what was there because their work would not look right. The other 2 companies wanted 3000 to re-skim them but that wouldn’t fix the slope in the walls or the fact that the walls were not shimmed prior to putting sheet rock up. All it would fix is the texture. They were going to shim the trim instead and that would have looked horrible.
They put the 3/4 inch plywood sheet for the flooring over the heat duct. I called to tell them that and they said they cut it out after the rest of the work. There is no way to see where the vent is.

We had the marmoleum guys come out and they said the floor was done incorrectly. They would have to lay another layer of plywood to meet the level of toilet and other rooms.

Response to their response:
I am not complaining that this job was not done but that we will have to tear down the walls including the ceiling and start over.
The final plywood was down. They had plastic taped on the floor and told me not to remove it to keep floor clean for Marmoleum. The walls were considered done because they told me to go ahead and paint them so they could put the floor in.
The picture of the plywood on the floor is where the vent WAS. How do you cut that out, you can’t tell where it is. The last picture is the first time they textured, the rest are the second attempt. Just stick up for yourselves and don’t let these contractors do shotty work. After 2 times the walls should be perfect. We even gave them another chance and said if they take walls out and start over, we would let them do it but they said the walls didn’t need to come out so there was nothing we could agree on. This is an old house and the walls are not perfectly level but that is why you shim. They did do some pipe work under the house but we ended the job before they could finish. I am just going to have to trust the shower pan was done correctly. The shower walls look ok but when you put a level on them, they are really wavy. No permits were pulled. You see the pictures. We have the before pictures too. The pictures speak for themselves. Please click on reviews and make sure they are real. I think it would be ethically wrong of me not to leave this review. Maybe ask to speak to someone that had work done and see if you can go look at it. I didn’t do that. Lesson learned. Fortunately, I only had to pay half up front and didn’t have to go to court for the rest. This was the one thing they did to try and make it right. Own your mistakes and do better next time.

Jason and Tyson did a great job remodeling my bathroom from old tired 1977 to beautiful new everything including a tiled shower in place of fiberglass tub/shower and soffit over it - in 16 days! I saved on the cost by purchasing most of the fixtures myself (and gaining Costco CitiCard and Amazon points). I'm very happy with my new bathroom. Bonus points that Jason followed up a few months later to be sure I am still happy, offered to resolve a small issue that doesn't really need addressing. I recommend them for great work.

Our experience with Johnsen Industries has been phenomenal, they took care of refinishing our floors, staining our banister and renovating our kitchen, plus some other minor projects.

They are very easy to reach, the communication to discuss projects, timelines, material selections, etc. is a breeze. For our kitchen reno Jason even set up a visit to a showroom for us to pick and choose cabinets, backsplash, pulls and knobs, and countertop. They were still OK with us shopping around for materials, tools and appliances, and they took care of making them work, it was some sort of "let us know what you want and we will make it happen".

Once all selections were made, they provided us with a very neat 3D render of how our kitchen would look like, spoiler alert, it looks way better in person but more on that later.

Tyson was always on time and ready to get things going. He did an AMAZING job setting up dust barriers around the house, and still, he would clean up at the end of the day everyday. We were getting constant updates on what was done, what was next and how the project was progressing. Tyson was also making some suggestions from time to time as to what might look better or what could be made more efficient than our original planning, he was cool with whatever decisions we made as to sticking to the original or switching to his recommendations, most of the time we went with his ideas as honestly, they were fantastic, trust me, he knows what he is doing !

Tyson's attention to detail is top notch, centering the island and the kitchen hood, aligning the doors, setting all knobs to face the same way, "hiding" the cabinet lights, making sure that the banister was stained evenly... I could go on but I am sure I would miss some of the details he did not miss.

Despite quite a few hiccups (totally unrelated to the project) Tyson was able to finish the job on the promised date. The kitchen looks better than we expected, some people say that it looks out of a magazine and I could not agree more. I am adding some pictures of the final work on the banister stain, the floor refinishing and the kitchen itself.

Johnsen Industries is for sure the one and only company I will consider for future projects, and if you are looking for a reliable, efficient, detail oriented, superb company to get a project going, search no more, give these guys a call and get into their schedule !!!

Tyson did a wonderful job with our fireplace project, from start to finish. He let us know all of our options and gave lots of good suggestions. Most of all, he listened and asked the right questions to understand exactly what we wanted. Tyson worked hard each day, was on time, and was always very professional. We have lived in our home for a very long time and never touched the kitchen. Between two kids, their friends’ pets and a lot of hard love it was time for remodel. After doing some research and meeting with the team from Johnsen Industries, we decided to go with them.

The kitchen underwent a complete renovation, and the hardwood floors were refinished. We are extremely pleased with the outcome; it is truly a remarkable transformation.

Tyson was very efficient and helpful with our remodel. He did a lot of work himself with some help from his friend Earl. Both were great. Our cupboards were painted by Sam and his team and turned out lovely. We couldn’t be happier and everything was complete in 3 weeks.
Tyson also resurfaced our fireplace and it turned out amazing.
They took great care in protecting floors and walls and did all the moving of appliances. They took great painters put up a plastic room around kitchen and masked everything. Plus they had spray booth in garage. Everything was spotless when they finished.
I would recommend them to everyone.
