Working with the team from Highland Ridge could not have been a better experience. Our family purchased a 2,200 sq ft home that had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and an office. The downside was that about 900+ sq ft was dedicated to a spa room. We have young kids and needed another bedroom, so we looked at transforming the spa room into more living space. When looking at contractors, we happened upon Highland Ridge, and were impressed with all the positive reviews.

We set up a meeting with John to discuss concepts and get a rough quote. From the start, John put us at ease with the process, and helped us to flesh out our concepts into a working plan. We decided to move forward with the project. Throughout the process, until the work started, John was always accessible if there were questions or changes that we wanted to make. Ed Miller, the office manager, was phenomenal at putting together for us an organized project portfolio that outlined the project phases and selections.

As the project progressed to the demolition and build phase, Aaron Welch took over as the project manager. During every step of this phase, Aaron was always great with keeping us up to date with progress, deadlines, and issues. We never felt like we did not know what was going on during the project. The Highland Ridge construction team did an awesome job and were incredible workers. The sub-contractors that Aaron and John brought in to do specialized work were fantastic and met expectations for quality that we were hoping.

Our spa room remodel turned out better than we had hoped. It went from being a rarely used 900+ sq ft room with a jacuzzi and semi-functional endless swimming pool, to an area we use every day. It now is a semiformal sitting and dining area with a conditioned 370 bottle wine cellar, and a master suite (bedroom, large bath, and walk-in closet). Thank you to John, Aaron, and the Highland Ridge team for the incredible work. We hope to have you back when we remodel our kitchen.

After working with other contractors over the years, we expect bumps during the remodeling process. Our Highland Ridge was virtually “bump-free.” The experience we had with the Highland Ridge Team during our kitchen remodel was excellent. From planning to finish, we felt Highland Ridge was always working with us as well as for us. Our Project Manager Aaron Welch was exceptional. He was consistently on top of the project, available, and ready to address any of our questions and concerns. He was extremely helpful when negotiating with subcontractor change orders during the process. And most importantly, he had our kitchen ready for Thanksgiving. The Highland Ridge Team worked hard to ensure they met our tight build schedule. Highland Ridge’s professionalism and expertise ensured we were able to build the kitchen we envisioned. We highly recommend them (5 Stars plus) and will definitely use them again for our next remodel project.

We are absolutely loving our new addition built by Highland Ridge! It turned out even better, and we’re having more fun living in it now than we even imagined! This was a top quality job! We’ve gotten nothing but compliments on it. Thank you all so much!

So glad we had Erich as our project manager. Erich did an excellent job and was fun to work with. He took pride in having things done right and went out of his way to make things right. He and the other workers and staff were very responsive, professional, and easy to work with.

The PDA process worked well. By the time we got ready for construction, we felt like things were detailed well, and we were comfortable to go ahead and build. Using the Buildertrend platform was a big help from beginning to end.

Our experience with Highland Ridge was outstanding.  From an introductory phone call with Ed to our initial meeting with Chris, we established a great rapport and were very comfortable that Highland Ridge is a first class company that checked all the boxes for what we were looking for in remodeling our kitchen and master bath.  Their process from planning, to 3D color design renderings showing what our completed project would look like, to construction software for scheduling and progress reporting, to selecting high quality subcontractors (custom cabinetry, tile work including heated floor in master bath, quartz counter tops, appliances, fixtures, etc.), to final completion of the project.  The hands on team of Aaron, as lead, Aaryn and Felix was exceptional in managing and executing all work, and the result is stunning.  We are very happy with the proof of performance and pleased to recommend Highland Ridge for custom remodeling needs. We really love how our new kitchen turned out—it’s both beautiful and functional, and it has completely changed the way we enjoy the space. The design agreement process was very helpful in setting clear expectations from the start and made the early planning stages much easier.

Buildertrend was a great tool to have during the project. It kept everything in one place and made it simple to follow the progress, check the schedule, and stay in touch with the team.

There were a few slowdowns along the way, which is to be expected with any large project, but overall things went smoothly. John managed the job well and kept things on track, even when there were a few hiccups.

All of the workers were professional, respectful, and easy to have around. We appreciated how thoughtful they were with our home, and the quality of their work really shows.

Most of all, we’re just really happy with how everything turned out—not only the kitchen, but the living room as well. The spaces feel fresh, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for.

We’d definitely recommend this team to anyone planning a remodel.

Highland Ridge contracted add 600 additional square footage to our main house. They listened to our vision for the space and addressed our requirements. They were able to take a rough drawing and turn it into a great plan. They worked with us to maintain our budget. All in all we love the space and our neighbors have stopped by to admire it.
We had very little issues. Framers were a little messy leaving some cans and garbage which the homeowner had to clean up.
We transitioned a couple times to different project managers which sometimes resulted in miscommunication or information not transferring. All PM's were great but we realized that we also needed to be reviewing the build often to make sure that our requirements were met as responsibilities changed hands.

We would highly recommend Highland Ridge for your remodeling or addon needs. They know how to navigate the county requirements and are very friendly and respond quickly to any issues or questions you might have.

We had a great experience working with Highland Ridge. They built a free standing art studio for me. We got everything I wanted. The build was very smooth. Our project manager was great. He listened to everything we said and always figured things out to our liking. I can’t recommend them more highly. Definitely consider them for any project you are thinking about.

Was very pleased how soon the parts came in and the communication was clear. Repairs was promptly done in a timely manner.

Platinum is my choice for my properties. They are responsive and dedicated to the job. I would highly recommend them.

I am very thankful for the service offered by Platinum Appliance. I had a new dishwasher installed and an old one hauled without any hassle and easy payment. I have tried DIY and cheap choices and never saved a dime. Don’t get something done halfway and choose Platinum.

This was the worst quality maintenance I've ever received. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Do not use their service if you can!

We put in an order for an oven repair in early October, and they finally were able to repair it in December. They had some of the worst communication of any company I have ever worked with- we went more than a month waiting for a call back from them. I would call repeatedly and they just went to voice-mail.

They also have to reschedule multiple times and were not flexible with our schedule. He arrived two hours late one day, three hours late the next day. Both times he did not communicate that he was running late, so we had no idea if he was ever going to show up! To top it off, the job isn't even finished, it will be another two more weeks!

Unfortunately I had to use their service because of the apartments I live in, otherwise I would have used a different company.

I could not recommend this business and Jeremiah enough. I needed a broken oven removed and a new oven installed. Jeremiah completed the job quickly —even modified the support structure for the wall oven in the process— and disposed of the old oven for me at less cost than I even expected. I wouldn’t use anyone else for appliance needs in the greater Portland area.

We used Jeremiah @ Platinum Appliance Installation & Repair (Pair Co.) on two separate occasions recently. The first time was to remove a faulty dishwasher & install a new one - which was accomplished in a timely & detailed manner. So when we had a new washer & dryer delivered, we knew to call on Jeremiah again to get the job done correctly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Jeremiah did a really nice job installing our hood for us. He was very thorough, kind, and kept our space clean. Our hood was a bit tricky to install but he made it very easy for us. Communicating with Platinum was always quick and very respectful, so we had an all around nice experience. Highly recommend working with them!

CRP does great work. They take pride in their work and it shows. Keep it up!

C.R.P. is a fantastic company to use for large and small jobs, honest and very dependable. I have used them several times and will continue to utilize there services in the future.

CRP did all of the renovations to my home and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They designed a new open floor plan and then delivered on that plan! All new doors throughout the home. New porch posts, bead board porch ceiling. Custom tile backsplash in kitchen. Custom bathroom tile work. Installed bamboo flooring throughout entire first floor of the home. Certified, qualified and friendly. If you want quality work at the right price I definitely recommend using CRP. They worked wonders on my home. Their work doubled the value of my home! Amazing work, my kitchen was reborn I'm a real customer and this is a real review. Steve and the guys worked magic, They were on time, The quality of work was top notch. I was in over my head and they saved me. My backsplash and walls look great for a great price and even took the time to go with me to find tile after we had issues. I can't say enough about guys you won't be disappointed, they go the extra mile when no one else does.

I initially hired Steve for some small home updates on a recently purchased house and it quickly turned into a remodel. He repositioned existing kitchen cabinets and appliances, enclosed windows and doors, added a door, removed a wall, pieced together tile floor and did extensive drywall work just to name a few and then some. I certainly added more to his plate then he was hired for and he graciously accepted the work and has done an excellent job. I have recommended him before and will continue to do so.

I would highly recommend Custom Remodeling Professionals for any home project! My husband and I called Steven to remodel our outdated master bathroom and the result was even better than what we imagined. From the start, Steven was professional and extremely helpful in assisting us with design options and we trusted him every step of the way. Steven and his team did amazing work to get our bathroom done and we could not be happier with how it turned out!
