Brad was on time and very professional. He came up with solutions to odd cover ups for beams that were put in to straighten a wall. They worked well and look great. Cleaned up the job site well after and was even accommodating in a couple add on requests. We did choose to do the painting ourselves at a later time. Would highly recommend.

Brad and his team did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel. His communication throughout the process was excellent and very reasonable priced. I would highly recommend Brad’s painting to friends and family and will have him back soon to do some more projects for me as well.

My experience with Hogan was fantastic from start to finish, on a new construction. Project manager John Vendafreddo was exceptional. John was always available to talk or visit the site, and his attention to detail was matched only by his passion for the project. In addition to being wonderfully professional, the entire Hogan staff are genuinely nice people who care about their contribution to the Geneva community. I won't hesitate to employ Hogan again, and frankly, wouldn't contact anyone else.

We have completed A LOT of projects in our home since moving to Geneva in 2012, but by far, we believe hiring Hogan Design and Construction to renovate our master bath and create a mudroom space was the best decision we could have made! Hogan Design and Construction exceeded ALL our expectations. The project management was transparent and easily available to us as homeowners. Any questions and/or concerns we had were addressed immediately. The workers who came into our home were respectful and very detail oriented about their work. From the early design phase through completion we felt more like friends of the company rather than just clients. We would enthusistically recommend Hogan Design and Construction to friends and family.

We chose Hogan to do a first floor remodel to include a fireplace refacing and built in mudroom lockers. Our house is totally transformed and the workmanship is phenomenal. Part of the Hogan sell during the bidding process was an emphasis on customer satisfaction. There were times when we called our project manager to discuss either problems or critiques to the work product. These calls always concluded with a solution and follow through to make us happy. I would absolutely recommend Hogan for your project.

We recently had Hogan Design out to our house for a consultation on a kitchen project. Brad asked us a ton of questions about the project to get a clear understanding of the scope of the project, he then asked me about the timeline we were hoping for, he asked questions to understand our budget and then discussed what was feasible for what we plan to spend. He then took the time to explain the different options that they offer should we decide to take the next steps. While some of the pricing he presented was higher than we expected, we understood the difference that Hogan offered compared to the other contractors we have interviewed. We have put our project on n hold for now but when the time comes we know exactly who we will be calling.

We had such a positive experience working with Hogan Design & Construction. Every single step of the process was well planned and executed, and every person we encountered was very professional, very friendly, and a pleasure to work with. Both Mike and Brad always answered any questions and addressed any concerns we had quickly and thoroughly, and they kept us updated and reached out proactively with key next steps throughout the process. The work done in our home turned out great! We would highly recommend them.

They continually brought expertise, creativity, and innovation to the project. They managed their team efficiently and in a very cost effective manner. We selected Hogan Design and Construction to complete a full remodel of our historic home. To say this was a challenging house would be an understatement. Everything had to be touched; electric, plumbing, lead paint, asbestosis, you name it we had it. We, along with our project manager Mike Martin, saw the opportunity to create something beautiful. With the assistance of Vera Design we completely remodeled the entire interior of our home. Mike was always available to us and kept in constant contact. He became part of the family and we passed most every idea by him. His knowledge of the industry helped us to understand the process and lead us through each step. I appreciate the approach Hogan takes with us as a customer and think their people are second to none!

We used Hogan for our full kitchen remodel in summer 2019. We would highly recommend Hogan and we couldn’t be more impressed with the final product. Everyone we worked with at Hogan (Doug, John, Brad, and Jorie) was extremely helpful throughout the process. The team at Hogan worked tirelessly to ensure our project was completed on schedule. The Hogan team brought their expertise in selecting materials, designing the space, and helping us achieve the vision we wanted. The entire construction team treated our home with respect and care throughout the construction process. Truthfully the final product is better than we imagined. No detail was overlooked and every portion of the project reflects the expertise and care of the Hogan team.

We moved out of the house during the project, but Doug communicated with us every step of the way. Incredibly, the project was completed on time and with little variation from the agreed upon proposal (I did not even know this was possible with remodels!). For our family, completing the project on time was a huge priority, and the team at Hogan worked to make that happen. During the estimate stage (which unlike some companies was a genuine exchange of ideas rather than a sales experience), the team at Hogan told us that although they were unlikely to be the cheapest, the quality of their work would be exceptional. If anything, this undersells the quality. If you want to just get a job done inexpensively, this probably isn’t your contractor. But if you want something that looks incredible, functions well, is well designed, and is worth every dollar you pay for it (and then some), Hogan is the place. For any future remodel needs, we will be using Hogan and look forward to working with them again.

We used Hogan Construction for a mudroom renovation. It included removing a small wall, custom cabinets, new tile and some electrical work. From the start the project moved along smoothly. The design process took some time but everyone was really great at bringing our vision to life then changing it as needed. Tim the project manager was good at seeing possible hiccups and addressing them before they became problems / set backs. He also checked in regularly, kept us informed about what was scheduled and came by when the subcontractors were in our home. Everyone at Hogan was VERY prompt, responsive , and honest in their communication. While we are waiting for our cabinets to come in, and there has been a delay in getting them ( we knew this going into the project) everything has moved along smoothly and the work is beautiful. We highly recommend this company and Tim Avila as project manager for any future home construction project .

We have used Hogan Design & Construction (HDC) for 5 projects over the past several years. These included: a kitchen refresh, adding a basement bathroom, and a primary bath remodel. The workmanship has been of the highest quality. There was excellent communication with the project managers. HDC is highly recommended!

We've worked with Hogan on two projects and were extremely pleased. They remodeled our kitchen and did an excellent job. They are very professional, courteous and responsive to work with and the quality of the craftsmanship was excellent. The fit and finish of the cabinets, flooring, plumbing - everything - was very good. It's key for a contractor to be responsive to questions and concerns and they were, throughout the project. The project finished on time and they worked with us to control costs. I highly recommend them.

Hogan Design & Construction is a great company to partner with. My first project with Hogan was putting in wood floors 6 years ago. They are always my first call for all home renovations. They may not be the cheapest, but I know they will do a quality job. Brad is very personable, responsive, and easy to talk to . He has always kept me up to date with scheduling. I feel very comfortable having them in my house and recommend them to my family and friends. They do beautiful work!

WOW was my experience incredible.Sandy is fabulous, so responsive and friendly. Doug is the person who came to the house and learned my desire to change from a screened in porch to a 3 season room. Doug is so courteous, friendly and respectful that it makes this journey fun. For each detail, he offered suggestions/alternatives.
When I learned my eyes were bigger than my wallet, I scaled back my requirements and Doug offered a new cost. Though I haven’t made my final decision of who gets the contract, I can’t express enough to potential customers that HOGAN is exactly who you are looking for.

We just finished up having two bathrooms remodeled. Could not be happier with the process and the final results. Our project manger, Doug P, was here every day to check on the progress and kept a meticulous punch list. Doug often found little problems we did not even notice and saw everything through to completion.

We previously had worked with a different company for our kitchen renovation and it was a much more difficult process and the final results did not meet our expectations.

We have recommended Hogan to neighbors and friends and even some people passing by who saw the lawn sign and stopped to ask about our remodeling.
