Dercon was an absolute pleasure to work with start to finish. Every member of the crew was the same in that they were skilled, did great work, were professional and the results speak for themselves. We LOVE our new primary bathroom. Wouldn't change a thing. And we will use Dercon for a kitchen remodel in the future for sure!

We are thrilled with our primary bath renovation completed by DERCON. It turned out GREAT! DERCON has been our go-to remodeler on multiple projects. We can rely on them to be professional, timely, detail-oriented, and responsive to questions. The team members doing the construction, plumbing, electrical, and installation, were experts in their fields and did an amazing job. Some of the things to highlight about our new bathroom are… The tile work is beautiful. The installer completed the project with such precision. The cabinets fit perfectly. And the attention to detail throughout the project, from the placement of mirrors and lighting to the installation of the shower glass and the product shelf in the shower, make it a space to simply love. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We recently hired Dercon to install new patio doors. Derek was phenomenal to work with from beginning to end. The crew was professional and we felt comfortable with them working in our home. Jeff was our primary carpenter and was knowledgeable and kind. We would recommend this company for any construction or remodeling needs!

Dercon was a pleasure to work with. The entire process for my roof repair was flawless. They patched a hole in my roof after I removed my chimney and you cant even see where the repair was done it matched so well. Derrick really cares about his customer and communicates very well through the repair. Will absolutely use his team again if and when needed.

Dercon Construction was really wonderful for us. We had about 1,000 sq/ft impacted from water damage and reached out to Dean after looking up reputable companies on Angie’s List. Dean couldn’t have been more gracious in helping us during this time. While we knew insurance claims are often the less preferred work, Dercon still took care of us, providing high quality service and results. Our home has a lot of custom woodwork and Dercon made sure to match the expertise in the original design. Not to mention the entire team was professional and great to work with. I would absolutely recommend Dercon and will be using them again.

I don’t give 5 stars to any review as I believe there is always room for improvement. Dercon Construction is a top notch contractor. Everything from the planning to the final walk through could not have gone better. Connor, Dan and the crew were so nice to work with. Always responded quickly to our questions and communicated well so we always knew what was happening every step of the way. When unforeseen things happened they helped us through it and never made us feel stupid for not always understanding the construction process. Nothing is ever perfect but these guys have high standards and do quality work. Our project exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier. We love our new space! We will definitely use Dercon again for any of my future projects.

Dercon Construction has been our choice for two remodels. We appreciated how they helped us design the areas we were remodeling, treated our home like it was theirs, protected all areas around the remodels, cleaned daily, team members very knowledgeable in their fields, solved minor problems along the way, communicated clearly and promptly and when the projects were completed, sent in a cleaning crew.

We had an outstanding experience with our remodel project. Our lower level was in serious need of an update after 15+ years of teenage boys "enjoying" the level. Dercon came highly recommended by friends. We reached out to Dercon and they got back to us very quickly. We wanted a company who would recommend design option and Conner did just that. He got to know us and our interests and then proposed three options for each main area. He then took our feedback and came back with updated layouts. Conner was also willing to offer push back when a change we recommended took away from a design feature. Finally, Conner brought in samples of materials to choose from (e.g. flooring, quartz counter tops, slat walls, paint colors, etc.)

Dan, the project lead, kept us updated on what to expect with the demo and then the construction. Suffice it to say, communication was consistent and thorough. The team of professionals doing the work did excellent work and kept the work area consistently neat and tidy. Some worked weekends to help stay on schedule.

All in all we were extremely pleased with the outcome and love spending nearly every evening in our remodeled lower level. We highly recommend Dercon for your next project and plan to use them on future home improvements.

We used Dercon Construction Services Inc to finish our basement and could not have been happier. The entire process from the first call, initial walk through, design, and construction went smoothly. Communication was easy and the advice and ideas provided were top notch. They followed the timeline that was agreed on and the cleanliness of the team was beyond what was expected. Highly recommend Dercon Construction Services. Used them for a master bedroom bathroom remodel, including master closet. Whole process was clearly defined, very professional, and the mess from demo and construction process was contained. The results are a true transformation with the addition of heated floors.

We have worked with a few different contractors for different projects, but now that we have worked with Dercon, we won't work with anybody else! They did an amazing job with our master bathroom remodel, the quality is superb. The whole remodeling process was well-organized and they had excellent communication about the remodeling schedule. Most importantly, the people who work on their team are kind, respectful, and really want your project to be the best it can be.

I hired Decron Construction to install a ProVia exterior door, and the experience has been deeply disappointing. Despite the door technically “meeting code,” the installation was flawed from the beginning. Within weeks, the door sweep fell off, screws began loosening, and the frame eventually cracked. I also documented significant thermal leakage with a thermal camera, and there’s an ongoing air temperature imbalance between the garage and the house.

Multiple service calls were required, and despite my repeated concerns about the door’s performance, I was brushed off. When I finally adjusted a loose screw myself — something any homeowner might attempt to stop rubbing — Decron used that as an excuse to fully disengage, even though I had originally reported these problems before any changes were made.

All because this company won’t take accountability or provide meaningful support after a problematic install. I regret hiring Decron and cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Thank you for your reply, but I must clarify that my original concerns were raised before I touched anything on the door — including the screw you mention. The bottom hinge screw I adjusted was a minor and common homeowner maintenance action to reduce rubbing. It’s unfortunate that such a simple fix is now being used to dismiss clear installation issues that were evident from the beginning, including:

• A door sweep that fell off within weeks
• A cracked frame at the bottom hinge
• Loose hinge screws
• Measurable thermal leakage, backed by thermal imaging
• Ongoing temperature imbalance between the garage and interior

Your own visits — one with a ProVia representative present — confirm that issues were significant enough to warrant escalation. If the installation was done correctly, why were multiple site visits necessary? And why did the performance continue to deteriorate?

Rather than addressing the core problems, your team has chosen to deflect responsibility. I stand by my review

We’ve worked with Dercon Construction on multiple projects over the years, and they’ve become our go-to team every time. Their crew is consistently professional, reliable, and detail-oriented. What stands out most is that they don’t just get the job done—they make sure the work is completed to spec and that we’re fully satisfied before wrapping up.

We recently had Dercon build us a deck and add an oversized patio door to our house. Because our house is older and the original deck on the house was poorly constructed, we had many issues beneath the surface that needed to be fixed. We felt very confident that they identified all the problems and repaired them exactly right.
From the initial consultation for the project until the finish, Dercon was amazing to work with. They explained the process clearly and were always available for questions or concerns. The build team that they have were so professional and polite. We enjoyed meeting and working with all of them. They always left the work site super clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Dercon completed an extensive kitchen remodel and added an additional bathroom in the footprint of our previous kitchen and formal dining space in our 1914 house. It involved removing a wall, rerouting radiator heat pipes, resizing windows, and nearly everything else a large project might require. From start to finish everyone at Dercon was a pleasure to deal with during the project. We couldn't recommend Dercon enough! We will actually be using them again for an exterior siding project in the spring of 2024.

Dercon did a water claim for us and performed a flood cut, drywall work, paint, carpet, closet, millwork and brought our house back to it's original condition. Actually they restored it to a better than when we bought it condition. The company and contractors were all personable and asked questions throughout the project to make sure things were done to our liking. Cannot say enough good things about the work and the quality of how this room in our basement looks now. Nicely done!

Dercon has been our go-to contractor for several projects in the past several years. They are trustworthy and do great work.
