B&K was fantastic. The crew couldn’t have been more polite and friendly. They arrived every day at the expected time. They cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. They communicated clearly about what they were doing. It was a big job. Our house is more than 100 years old. They were here to get rid of old knob and tube wiring so we could safely add attic insulation. They removed the knob and tube from the whole house – there had been a lot of that old wiring. Together with that they brought the entire house “up to current code.” This was quite a big job, so it took a whole crew more than a week. They worked in teams, focusing on only one or two rooms at a time, so that their work didn’t unduly disrupt the household. I was also very pleased at how they minimized the need to make too many holes in the wall. And the holes they did make, they patched very nicely. Since this was quite a big job, it was pretty expensive, but given how much time and materials were involved, I considered the price very fair. I found B&K on the web. They described themselves as prepared to deal with knob and tube, and indeed they were.

Richard and B&K Electric did a great job upgrading our 100 amp panel to a 200 amp panel. They were professional and knowledgeable. They even came in on a Saturday after not being able to come on Thursday June 19th because of the holiday. Work was done professionally and neatly. Price is a little expensive but we definitely got what we paid for. They even offered to pay for Verizon if they needed to come out and fix our Internet. It ended up being a cable was in the wrong spot but it was nice to hear they care. Would use their services again.

My husband left them two messages this week....one a PM on their FB page and the other via email...explaining what we wanted done. No response at all... If only I could give them less than 1 star.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Owner Mike really took the time to discuss options on the panel upgrade and Cristian & Kyle executed things to perfection. If you want to work with the best B&K is the firm for you.

I highly recommend these guys! They were professional and did an extremely good job installing our outside lighting. Not to mention I sent them a check for our initial proposal agreement and they came back to our business and said it actually cost them less than they anticipated. They could have just cashed the original check but didnt. Extremely honest company. I will be using them again!

Mike, Richard, Patty are all great to work for. The whole team at B&K Electric are just awesome.They came into my home and did my 200amp panel upgrade fast, they are reliable, communication is on point. Mark came out in January to replace a couple of my smoke detectors in addition to installing a couple additional. He also fixed a broken light switch and replaced a couple lighting fixtures. During this visit I asked him to check my breaker box. He informed me that water was leaking in from the outside and most of the box was corroded. He patched the outside to prevent more water from entering. He came back a few weeks later and installed a new breaker box. He upgraded the electrical system to today's code guidelines. Him and Demetrius were very detailed in their work. Both were very polite, personable, and professional; keeping me informed throughout their work. When the work was done Demetrius brought me outside to show where things were sealed and the new electrical kill switch. The city inspector came out this week and said everything was good. I'm very appreciative of Mark and his help.

Mark and his team upgraded my electrical panel and relocated it to different spot in the house. They did a clean, professional job and got everything done in one day. Everyone on the team was really friendly, easy to work with and very informative. I’m very happy with the outcome and I’ll definitely be using their services again for any future electrical work.

I worked with a few electrical folks in the initial estimate stage and Hartman was by far the cheapest. Then when it came to the work, they were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, fast, and very communicative. When we wanted to add a couple minor things, they were willing to work with us to complete those. We hired Hartman Electical recently to do a repanel and also install an EV charger. Mark came out to do an estimate and was on time and his quote was fair. They did a very good job.

The owner wanted to charge me over $700 to fix something that another electrician charged me $150 to complete. The job took 30 minutes. Look elsewhere folks, he might do good work but will try to fill his pockets before giving you a fair price.
