B & K Electric upgraded the electric service in our incredibly old home! It was a very complicated job connecting 4 very old fuse boxes and making sense of a bunch of wires running everywhere. The electricians that worked on the house were extremely knowledgeable, professional and just good people! The estimate was very fair and affordable. We will be bringing them back for additional work, in the future!

Waited over a month for a line to be ran and a switch put in to operate the new line. Removed my tiles in a trench to allow easy access and save my tiles. They ran the line. But broke the tiles under or over the trench making said trench bigger. Replaced my light switch for some reason and never added the new switch to the new line. Threw my hardware I had on my counter in the garbage. Swept up my broken tiles and replaced my decorative switch and outlet covers with plain plastic ones. Had to fish my shelving hardware and whatever tiles weren't broken out of the garbage. Paid over 400$ just to have my tiles broken and a permanently live wire installed. If they had just asked I could have safely removed the tiles in minutes, but now I may have to replace all the tile in my bathroom. Called to ask them to come atleast install the switch and they said I might have to pay again and would have to wait over a week anyways. Hired somebody else to come in and put a switch in and told them to not come back.

B&K got my stamp of approval. Mike communicated with be by email, which a lot of home service people won't do. He got Ryan and Jeremy to my house within a matter of days, because I needed my old knob and tube inspected urgently. They did a great job; friendly and professional but also just normal guys that you don't mind having around. They made some good observations while here that may be useful in the future, as well. I would use b&k again!

I need to have a generator transfer switch (interlock) installed and contacted B&K end of November. Originally they were the only ones that responded back. They quoted $1,600 to do the job. I accepted and placed a $200 deposit. Less than 24 hours later I told them to hold off as I was getting different quotes.

Based on the fact that 5 different companies quoted me $500 less to do the work I canceled with B&K. Instead of refunding me they simply said in an email they would refund me $75. I called and spoke with Patty who said she would have the "owner" call me back.

The "owner" called me back and when I asked for the other $125 back they went on to insult me and tell me that they went out of their way to come "all the way to my house to get me a quote" like it was a favor to me, "as fast as they could" on New years. They came out almost 5 weeks after I originally called. Not a big deal for me as I'm in no rush. Then he said something about being at my house on New Years, when it was the Monday before.

He said he purchased a part and that's why he wouldn't give me my money back and went on to patronize me.

Extremely Rude, extremely unprofessional, and obviously over priced. Don't believe me? I can provide their estimate pic, along with 5 others.

In the end I can say, it only cost me $125 to avoid getting ripped off hundreds more.

Perhaps next time instead of being a jerk try just explaining, hey we don't refund down payments even within 24 hours, no biggie. And don't be a jackass to potential customers.

B&K is great! Super friendly and professional, started the project quickly and worked to get it done on time. Really pleasant bunch. Happy with the work. Would definitely work with them in the future.

I called and was treated very well from their first, "Hello." They came and examined my 6 electrical outlets that I thought were not working. They went straight to work, examined the outlets, pushed the reset buttons fixing the nonbroken outlets. They thanked me for calling them and asked for my future business, and they did not charge me a thing! They were refreshing!

B&K installed a 50 AMP outside inlet along with the required wiring to my main service panel along with an interlock panel that will be used to hookup my outside portal generator that will power my entire house (during a power outage). The installation was completed on-time, very clean/neat, professional, very reasonable cost, and everything worked the first time! I highly recommend this local electrical contractor and will use their services for my future electrical needs.

Had a generator transfer switch installed. Mike was great with helping to expedite the install prior to a major storm. Isaias was my electrician and he was super professional and took the time to ensure I knew how the system worked. The quality of work and price were great! Highly recommend.

B&K were great. Of all the electricians I called they were responsive, professional, showed up on time, and answered all my follow ups via email/phone promptly. B&K came and did a knob and tube inspection at our house, the team wore boot covers, explained exactly what they needed, and got the job done efficiently. I'll call them for any future work.

This was the second time we had B&K do electrical work for us and we could not have been happier with the results. They did a complete re-wire of our old knob and tube wiring as well as lighting installed throughout the house. All the work was done well, the work crew was courteous and friendly, there were changes mid-work that were done without a problem, overall I would recommend them without hesitation, don't bother going somewhere else, we have another project down the road and we will be calling B&K again without a doubt!

Called to have a fixture installed and to fix an outside outlet that no longer worked. They called to let me know when they would be at my house. When they arrived, they did the job in a timely manner and showed me and explained everything that was done. Very professional and likable. Definitely will use this company again.

The project we hired B&K to perform was a fairly challenging knob & tube removal and replacement job on an old house. They performed the work exceptionally well. The electricians were on time every day, and were professional and courteous while in the house. They explained what they were doing, and let us know where they planned to work so we could adjust our whereabouts. All in all, they did an excellent job.

B&K did a great job re wiring my bathroom. We had multiple old wires that needed to be removed and they did it with ease. No we have all new wiring with GFCI outlets , new vanity lighting and new exhaust fan with light. No more surges from other appliances because we now have a dedicated circuit. Thanks for the great job and we will call you again for our next project.

The whole team is great. Easy to schedule. Responsive. Show up on time. They follow up and they make sure the job is done right. They also take the time to explain what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. Couldn’t feel more comfortable having someone do work on my house.

Pricing is fair and quality is excellent.

We had a very complicated job that required some creative thinking, coordination w inspector and electric utility, and B&K delivered.

Pat is great at coordination and easy to work with. She followed up and coordinated some calls to help get things done in a pinch. Jared and Cameron were awesome leads pulling together a plan and getting it executed with the rest of the guys, and also following up w the utility to square away final details.

If you’re looking for trustworthy electricians and a company that clearly makes it a point to establish a culture of customer service and quality work, B&K is your answer.

This company and the electricians are excellent. They guarantee their work, and they go beyond the call of duty if you are in a tough spot. Just had a problem with a smoke detector they had installed which was beeping and malfunctioning, and they came over that day after hours to replace it. I have used this company for three or four jobs now and the guys are always friendly and professional. It is hard to find a good electrician, but these guys are top notch.

B&K Electric gets 5 stars. They were on time, courteous, polite, efficient, honest, knowledgable with reasonable prices. I have more work to be done and I will call them back in a minute!
