If you're going to have trees removed and want it done timely, safely, and right the first time - then Northeastern is the tree service for you.

We had almost 10 trees removed. The quote was very reasonable for the amount of work. On the days of (big job, so it took 2 days), everything went very smoothly. These guys are professionals - they brought the right tools - bucket trucks, chippers, log haulers, and a large tree removal machine that looked like something you see on Discovery Channel! The machine grabs the tree, cuts it, then picks it up and moves it like it's a 5lb weight. It's incredible to watch - clearly they have some highly skilled operators. The "guys on the ground" were fantastic - definitely went the extra mile if we asked them for something and we really appreciated that. They were also incredibly patient (and very knowledgeable) if we had a question.

We would HIGHLY recommend Northeastern to friends and family. Companies come and go but they've been around forever and there's a reason for that - you should accept no substitutes for the best tree service around. Give them a call!

We used North Eastern Tree on two occasions when we needed them to fell big trees that grew too close the house, and for grinding the stumps. They did a good job, and their pricing was reasonable.
Our neighbors used their services as well, and they were satisfied too.
We gave North Eastern Tree only 4 stars because they could do better as far as scheduling goes.

These men were fantastic!! On time, efficient, pleasant, professional & cleaned up after themselves!!

Repeat customer here! Very happy with the customer service from North Eastern Tree from the onsite workers to the office staff. I priced out 3 companies where North Eastern Tree Service was in the mid-range. I am happy with the value received in comparison to the cost.

North-Eastern Tree Service is amazing, start to finish. We had a huge pine tree fall on our fence after a big windstorm. I called and was able to get someone to meet for an estimate the following morning. Not only was he early, he gave a very fair estimate AND they were able to fit the job in that morning. Jeff and his crew were fantastic, professional, thorough and efficient. Clean up was awesome, you could not tell a branch had been on the ground! North-Eastern Tree Service is lucky to have such a top notch, respectful and professional team! Highly recommend!

This review should be NO STARS BUT IT WON'T LET ME POST WITOUT A STAR. This was a horrible experience!! They came pretty quick to quote it and then said I'll be here next week. We called and called and the guy never got back to us, we had to involve a supervisor so they could contact him. We were having a pool install so we were counting on them to do what they said. The communication was absolutely awful and when they finally came my husband had to pretty much beg them to do what the contract price said (which was to grind the stump) They told my husband while he was outside that they were taking all the wood clippings. Once he went inside they dumped them in the hole. So now my husband has been working in the yard for 2 days removing what they were paid to remove. They bold face lied to him. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

My partner and I bought a house in Providence in August 2021. The yard was very overgrown and in September 2021 we hired Northeastern Tree because we wanted a certified arborist to trim our Japanese Maple, among other things. The arborist came to give us a quote for all the work and ensured us he would be here to do the job. When the team arrived 2.5 hours early, he wasn’t here. I wrongly assumed another arborist was present when they said they knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, they damaged our Japanese Maple, broke our downspout and fence, and “thinned out” our Rose of Sharon by taking a chainsaw to the flowering tips hanging into the yard. The maple’s branches were not cleared from the wires and they cut the tips off most of the branches. There are chainsaw marks in some healthy branches. They did not remove bushes as requested and only cut them down short. We expressed our displeasure during the job, but they continued and then left without saying anything or giving us an invoice. Then they tried to charge us for both trimming and removing a huge walnut tree, as well as everything they said they were going to do. They did not respect our property or the wellness of our trees/plants. It took almost 3 months for them to fix the downspout and fence. They then sent an invoice for the entire amount (not itemized). We spent over a year trying to get them to only charge us for what they did properly. They kept ignoring our itemized list of what we were and were not going to pay for and would only put a small “adjustment” on the invoice. In December 2022, we finally got them to itemize the invoice and remove the things they damaged or didn’t do what they said they were going to do. We still paid a hefty price for the job, had a lot of stress, and have to hope that our Japanese Maple heals over the next couple years. It will never grow taller or grow naturally. Another arborist came to look at it and said we’d have to wait to try to trim the branches touching the wires until it heals. We have also been trying to remove the stumps and roots of one of the 4 bushes they were supposed to remove, but are struggling as we don’t have the proper equipment. So we keep having to trim the new growth instead. I do not recommend this company.

Scott the rep was highly responsive, professional and just really easy to work with. The crew listened, took direction as was discussed and did an excellent job on my property. Not only did they do great work- they also cleaned up the areas far above and beyond!

Received and accepted their quote in the summer, but they never came back to do the work- despite being 'on the schedule' and me calling them 4 times to remind them I was waiting. 5th call last week was never returned. Moving on to another company.

I had three trees and five shrubs taken out , Matt and his crew were great and fast ! Very reasonable in price . I have recommended them to others.

I had a tree removed, one trimmed and another 10ft tree stump removed..service was excellent, the men that removed and trimmed were polite, professionals they did everything I asked of them... about a wk later they came and did the stump grinding..polite and professional... thank you to Dan, the staff & the workers for a job well done...

Had a Japanese Maple tree removed last week from our property and we are very pleased with the work done! This company came to us as a referral and we saw the excellent work they do. Crews worked promptly and courteously. A professional company in every regard from receiving our estimate, to taking the tree down, to grinding the stump, to clean up.
We'll miss the old tree and the shade it provided for so many years but extremely glad we chose North-Eastern Tree Service for sure!!!!!

We have recently purchased a house and needed some substantial tree work done, as the trees were diseased and old. I reached out to the company and very quickly I received a call back from Jason who coordinated to come out to the house and look at what we had to work with. He came back with an invoice which was very reasonable and his team was able to book us about 3 to 4 weeks from our initial meeting. Jason was excellent with communication, very professional and took care of everything for us. His team is highly skilled, talented and professional in their craft. We will definitely use them again if necessary and can't say enough good things about them.

This place is useless. John came by with an estimate and after 9 months of repeated calls for the job to be done I gave up and called someone else. Don't give these guys your business. Nadeu Tree service was top notch.

I would like to say a few things about what I experienced with North Eastern tree service. First I would like to thank the workers for doing a good job. They are true professionals in what they do. I would not hesitate in calling them in the future for my tree needs. From the salesman to the tree workers, and the worker who removed the wood great job, thank you.

Called for an estimate that took over a week to schedule. Matt estimator called 20 mins before window expired that he had a family emergency, never showed up the next day. Called directly and received no response.

Daniel was the initial contact and he kept me informed when the service would be done. The crew was outstanding no issues whatsoever was quite a large tree. I thought the price was fair and like I said no issues whatsoever.

First time customer. These guys were great! Had a pretty big and overgrown tree trimmed in our backyard. They got here early, got everything trimmed, cleaned, and were done and out in under 2 hours. They kept us informed throughout the process and made sure to ask on what we thought /if we wanted to make any additional adjustments. Will definitely work with them again!

This is the second time we’ve used NE Tree and they didn’t disappoint. John showed up promptly to advise on an overhanging tree, agree a plan and provide a reasonable estimate. The crew who showed up some weeks later were great - cheerful, polite, skilled and brave! Amazing to see their guy climbing 30 feet up with a chainsaw and ropes, lopping branches and lowering them gently. Afterwards, they cleaned up perfectly, taking away every twig and blowing away sawdust from our patio. Excellent job!
