Leo was on time, friendly and professional. He was knowledgeable and fixed our issue quickly and easily, making sure that the peripheral zones worked the same after the issue was fixed. This is the 2nd time we’ve used Restivo’s and have been happy with all work! Would definitely recommend!

Restivo’s installed our LG heat pump unit. They did an outstanding job, very professional, friendly answered all my questions, great service. I had a small issue afterword with the unit, contacted Restivo's they sent a technician Matt right away. Matt showed me the issues with my system adjusted everything and answered all of my questions. Matt was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Very satisfied with the service!

This is the second large job we have done with Restivo’s. I can’t say enough about the employees and their customer service starting with the consulation. I had three companies come out and give us quotes, and Restivo’s (Jim Mixner) blew the others out of the water with his knowledge. He was so thorough, and I had complete confidence that this was going to be successful. Both jobs required many different technicians and all of them were so polite and well spoken. My central air conditioner was not blowing cold air. It is over 17 years old. Matt arrived on time and was very courteous. He got right to work and quickly found the problem. He didn't try to upsell me and was honest and forthright. The price was great! I am going to have them check out my boiler for the winter season as well. I would recommend them to anyone!

Chris Montella came out to fix a problem with the mini split in our bedroom on 11/13/2024. He was polite and couldn't have been a nicer young man. He solved our problem quickly and efficiently. He even gave me a quick lesson in how to clean the filter on the mini split. Completely satisfied with his service and great attitude.

Technician was on-time. One of the parts failed and they came out the next day and replaced it for me. I appreciate restivo’s working through the issue with me and making me happy with the service. Joe was very pleasant and honest.

Kevin was very professional. Listened to the issues/concerns that I have and gave me clear instructions. Restivo's did not install my mini-splits but was happy to come out and perform a service call. He realized one needed a deep cleaning which he did. Appreciate his promptness and assistance. Kevin came back out today to do the other unit. Exhibited the same promptness and professionalism.

The whole experience has been great. We got the estimate at the initial visit. Mario took the time to go over everything with us. The delivery was on time and our driver was very friendly and informative. It has been a great experience so far.

The new heating system is working wonderfully. A nice consistent temperature and hot water that doesn’t run out. Every step of this process with Restivo was top notch, from the estimator’s initial visit to assess and discuss, to delivery of the parts, to installation. They even did the work to get our RI Energy refund, and the check came today. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Restivo’s has quality, honest, technicians that will not suggest work that doesn’t need to be done like some other service companies. Their service is prompt, accurate, and complete. Consistently over the years : Very profesional, responsible, timely cervices

The technician save the day. Toby is a young man, thorough, personable and communicated his annual maintenance completions when finished. It would have been 5 stars, but he arrived at 5:30 for a 2PM appointment. The office should have done a better job informing me of the delays. Some of us have other pressing issues that require our presence.

⭐ One-Star Review: Great HVAC Work, But Poor Follow-Up and Accountability

Restivo Heating & Cooling did a wonderful job on my HVAC system overall — I’m completely satisfied with the performance now that the work is finished. However, the process started off rocky when one of their technicians accidentally dropped one of the heat exchange units from about 6 to 7 feet onto my cement basement floor. I caught it on video. They wanted to reinstall the damaged unit, but I insisted on a replacement. Thankfully, they sent two new technicians, Zach and who were professional and did excellent work to complete the job.

That brings me to the reason for this one-star review. While some of their technicians are top-notch, others are not. The major issue is with the electrician they hired to complete a 200 amp panel upgrade. I needed him to return to check on an overheating outlet — a potential fire hazard. Despite multiple calls, there’s been zero follow-up. I keep getting told, “The electrician will call you.” Well, he never did. And now it’s too late — I’ve had to call someone else for safety reasons.

Restivo hired this electrician. I didn’t. So they should take full responsibility and stand behind the work — especially when safety is involved. Sadly, their complete lack of response after the job was finished is what earned them this negative review.

When everything goes well, it’s easy to leave five stars. But the true test of a company is how they respond when something goes wrong. And in this case, Restivo failed to show upl.

Positive experience, the HVAC technician Kevin was very good. I had general maintenance done on my Central A/C units. The job was thorough and Kevin answered all my questions. Also there was no additional fees, the price was what they said it would be. I appreciate the honesty.

Great experience from first phone call to Mario coming out to explain our options and techs coming out when they said they were coming and doing quality work in a timely manner. Prices were better than competitor and they were more responsive when I called or emailed with questions. I will definitely stick with them for any future service of my high efficiency unit.

Saturday night after our big family Christmas get together we noticed our home getting chilly, it wasn’t that it was in the 20’s outside- our furnace went out! One call to Restivos and a gracious John answered and travelled an hour to repair our furnace, he was professional, courteous and very well versed in our furnace’s needs. Our hot water is now better than ever and we are grateful. Restivos is a family owned business who cares and hires employees who truly care about customers.
