I had a new hot water heater installed by evergreen about two years ago. The pipe they installed has corroded and leaked onto the top of the hot water heater, rusting it. and their website seems to be down

I had my basement flood during last rain and Jeff came and replaced the aging pump. I have a very shallow hole, very old house, so getting the exact set up took 2 visits to get set up just right. Jeff was wonderful!

Adam was great, we had to shut off our boiler after a leak just as the winter weather and snow hit. This left us without heat and hot water for almost a week and a half. Evergreen was able to schedule us within a few days of signing the quote. They showed up on time and ended up doing about 6 repairs to get our boiler to code and fixed it was a long day but by dinner time we were toast and warm. They were very professional and explained the whole process as they went so we understood how and what to look for going forward. Thankyou so much.

1st I want to Thank Evergreen for sending Adam regarding HVAC estimate to repair or replace it. I was a little nervous as 1st time homebuyer but Adam put me at ease. My system was very old and needed to be replaced along with my furnace lol. I also informed him about my basement issues not cooling in summer or heating in the winter. He came up with plan and I put my trust in him! Thank God I did because when Kevin, Phil and Colin came everything we discussed was on the list! It’s very old house and it was very tight space these 3 men was working all day for 3 days! Thank God they were skinny!lol
On the last day I wasn’t around so they called me on FaceTime to go over everything with and answered all my questions. I’m so grateful for them. I can hangout now in my finished basement! Thank you Evergreen!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. Literal life savers!!!! I had a new high efficiency heating unit installed by a different company six years ago. It has been nothing but trouble. Recently they told me I needed a new unit. I contacted a few other companies to give me a second opinion and estimate for a new unit. Bianca from Evergreen got back to me right away and was the only company that sent an actual technician (Adam) to look at it. He came on Monday night and, unfortunately, not only confirmed I needed a new unit, but informed me my current one was emitting unsafe levels of carbon monoxide. He had to shut it down. He not only gave me a price for a new unit 10k less than one of other companies I contacted, but had a crew there the next morning to start the install. Kyle was there with a helper right on time on Tuesday morning to start. He finished it on Wednesday afternoon. I am up and running and now feel SAFE and warm. This company is AWESOME!!!!! I am so glad I am now dealing with this company. If you need help with your heating system do yourself a favor and start with Evergreen. You won't need to go anywhere else. Thank you to all the people at Evergreen.

I've shared my story about the price of a simple installation for a 24" vanity. While they did respond to my issues of the pricing stating we knew up front, that is, after they arrived they told my husband how much it cost, etc.and being told over the phone we would be charged $100 just for them to give me a quote. In the owners response he stated they base their pricing on a flat fee not an hourly rate plus parts. Well, if that's the case why couldn't we have gotten that flat rate price over the phone??? Probably because they knew it would not result in them being hired for the job. Their way is to get their foot in your door, tell you pretty much any price they want and knowing you'd still be out $100, they got you over a barrel. I wouldn't have signed anything nor paid the $100 if I had been there. If they put themselves in my position, how would they feel? I'm saddened and disappointed to be taken advantage of in this way. We were patient enough when they weren't able to come the week before after my husband waited for them, understanding emergency calls. I should have followed my instincts and made other arrangements. Please consider being a little more fair and equitable in your business practices. Your livelihood depends on it and I'm making sure I tell as many people as possible not to use you.

I made an appointment to have my AC serviced over one month in advance with an explanation of the type of splits I own. On the day of the appointment they called me to tell me they don’t service those types of splits. Wasted over a month with a confirmed appointment, only to drive to my home at 8am (it’s an Airbnb) only to find out on the day of my appointment that they won’t service my type of splits. Very disappointing.

Adam is very knowledgeable and shows a true expertise in his work. He has a good command of plumbing, heating and air conditioning units. I recommend him to anyone who needs Evergreen work in South County and beyond!

My central A/C broke on a Sunday. I contacted Evergreen on Monday morning, and they were able to get me an appointment that day. The technician, Jacob, was great, keeping me informed of each step he took to troubleshoot my issue. He was able to determine that it was a faulty condensation sensor in my attic crawl space. He was able to procure a new one and install it. I have been nice and cool for a couple of days now. Everyone I dealt with, from the person who took my call and scheduled my appointment to the technician, was friendly and professional. I am very impressed with this company and will recommend them to friends and family. Great job, guys.

Fantastic experience! I called to have some outside spigots replaced. The evergreen team was quick and efficient when executing the job. They also kept in constant contact via email and text message. Very happy with the entire experience!

The old cast iron drain in our basement was deteriorated. I hired Evergreen plumbing to replace it. They were very friendly and easy to deal with. Jeffrey and Philip did the very difficult task of removing the old and replacing with clean efficient pvp piping. These guys were real professionals and great guys that worked hard all day on a very difficult job. I would highly recommend this company .

Always there when you need them. Have used them previously for plumbing repair as well as hvac services. Pricing was very fair.

As the daughter of a small business owner, I want to preface that I never would leave a bad review if it didn't absolutely deserve it. I hired Evergreen to come to the house I rent to do a routine service on our gas furnace. I had a baby in late January and wanted to make sure the system was working and safe. The technician performed the service and checked several vents for carbon monoxide. He ended up getting a high reading from the vent in the baby's room (10 ppm). He told me we needed to turn off the furnace immediately and the entire unit would need to be replaced. Being told we had dangerous CO levels and to turn off the heat in mid-March with a 2-month old baby was obviously very unsettling. We also have CO detectors in the home, which never indicated any danger. The technician informed my landlord of his findings. My landlord called in a technician from a different company to perform their own check. That technician did not detect ANY carbon monoxide from the furnace or coming out of the vents. With two very different readings, my husband and I wanted to be 100% sure what was going on, so we called the Warwick fire department come and check. The firefighters also found no traceable CO levels. I understand technology doesn't always work, but the Evergreen technician never brought in a second CO meter, or called in another crew to check before going to the extreme worst case scenario. I truly hope this was an honest mistake and I wasn't being taken advantage of, especially when you're dealing with potentially deadly CO.

My gas furnace was in need of an evaluation. Adam came and uncovered several items in serious need of repair. He was exceptionally polite, helpful and genuinely very considerate. He went above and beyond my expectations and made my furnace safe and operating perfectly. I highly recommend Evergreen and especially Adam. First Class treatment and professionalism with excellent pricing!
This season I had Nelson clean out kitchen sink clog and replace a few minor pvc pieces. He did a great job! I was vet pleased. He was most kind and a gentleman!

This is my second recommendation for Evergreen, as Adam, checked on my furnace, and a year later it continues to function perfectly! This is truly a first class company, give them a call, you will be very impressed!

They sold us a 600.00 package to get service right away with a few other benefits. We never got any use out of it. We had a fire and called to have them shut off our water. They called us back six months later. It was a total scam.

At first I thought the price for my new AC unit with the labor was a bit on the high side . But after seeing all the work it entails to install a AC unit inside and out I definitely got my moneys worth. Kevin was very detailed oriented. He showed great expertise and wisdom. The young kid Alex I admire a lot. He was a straight to work kind of guy and extremely focused and diligent with his work. You can tell he takes pride in doing a job well done. Awesome work.

Evergreen Plumbing took out my old oil heating system and tank and replaced it with a new Gas system and did an absolutely Fantastic job. They were fast, efficient, neat and clean and kept me informed every step of the way.
I highly recommend them.

Adam Bick is the best service technician we have had work on our house. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. He has figured out issues no one else has and is now the ONLY person I will let touch your hvac and combo boiler. Evergreen has been great and i will continue using their services as long as Adam is there.

I cannot recommend this company enough! My parents have been looking for a plumber to fix some serious plumbing issues which resulted in their main bathroom being unusable. I called Evergreen and right away felt that this company cared and were not going to swindle us. Adam was absolutely amazing and kind and my parents now have a working bathroom. They did exceptional, high quality work, and were also very efficient. I feel their pricing was also very reasonable. I definitely will use their company in the future for my parents and I highly recommend their services. Thank you!

We hired Evergreen to install an HVAC system in our home and a mini split in our addition. I normally do not write reviews. I prefer to give companies the benefit of the doubt, but our experience has been so negative and prolonged that it has become necessary to write this. This project was quoted at ~$20k. We were told the work would take ~1 week. In total, it took nearly a month because they were short staffed. We tried to be understanding every time a delay came up. But it got to the point that we had to call the company every night to confirm that the technicians would come the next day. There were 5-6 days that they simply did not show up or call, after telling us they would be here the day before. Other days they arrived midday, without notice. When I reached out asking for an ETA, the response was consistently dismissive. Our technicians changed 2-3 times throughout the job. By the time the last team began working on the final part (mini split), it was clear that they wanted to drop the unit and run, and that they were barely given any information about the work. The original technicians were helpful, but the final team was rude. When I asked any questions, I was consistently told, “I don’t know. I just got sent here to do a job.” These delays took place in the days leading up to the heatwave in RI last month. There were days when our house was 86 degrees. We have pets.

I did not plan to write a review, if not for what happened post-installation. I initially explained that we intended to renovate a three season porch and would need HVAC in the future. Neither the team lead, nor the technicians, recommended that we install a larger condenser for the porch. Instead, they installed one that only accommodates our addition. We recently decided to start renovating our porch, only to learn from another HVAC company that we’ll need to spend $15,000 to replace the condenser Evergreen just installed a few weeks ago, or add an additional condenser (a $9,000 additional cost).

We’ve called and texted Evergreen multiple times over the last few weeks, asking to speak to the project lead, Joe. We finally received a call back last week (it took 11 days and persistent calls from us). He offered a lowball refund that wouldn’t cover the cost of the mini split & other parts of the work that weren’t completed. We have reached out many times since to discuss the refund and to schedule Evergreen to take the mini split back. We are totally stalled on our renovations, because they will not reply to us. Apparently, there is only one person at the company who can work with us. Out of frustration & desperation to see any progress, we’ve asked for the owner to call us, and were told no.

When the work was completed, we called to provide feedback. We were told by another manager, Bianca, that she would work with us to make sure our concerns were resolved. She has not helped since, and simply passed us off to another person, who (as stated earlier) will not return our calls. This, again, is after we’ve given the company nearly $20k in business. It would have made all the difference if they had stepped up to the plate weeks ago, when the customer service issues first began. Instead, it seems like they aren't concerned about customer service, nor are they interested in salvaging their professional reputation.

We hired Evergreen because supporting local businesses is important to us. We thought we could trust them to treat us with respect, and that they would show dedication/loyalty toward their customers. They say on their website, "We are dedicated to providing 100% satisfaction on all repairs, maintenance, and installations of HVAC systems we work on." Hiring Evergreen was a huge mistake. It has caused us so much stress and money. I’m writing here in the hope that they will make this right.

I would never rehire this company. And I would not recommend that anyone else hire them. If you are considering hiring an HVAC company, do not waste your time, money, or sanity on this company.
