Simpson Electric did the wiring for my new home, I reached out to them on one occasion to have an outlet looked at and didn't get a response until I went through our building foreman. The second time I reached out was to inquire about a whole house surge protector, that was three days ago and still no response.

I called Simpson Electric on Friday, spoke to Roland! explained what I needed and was told $125.00 was the base rate for a visit and that the work I wanted would probably be another $95.00. I agreed and was pleasantly surprised to be told that he had 9:00 available on the following Monday.

I called Monday at 9:10 to make sure I was still on the appointment schedule, knowing that traffic can be difficult and arrival can be delayed. I wasn't concerned, just wanted to make sure I was on the schedule. No one answered the phone so I left a message.

At 10:15, Roland called and said he had been called to an emergency but could be at my house in another 30 minutes...an hour and 45 minutes after our agreed time! I understand emergencies happen and I am open to reschedule if need be, but waiting an hour and 15 minutes to tell me he'd be delayed tells me he, and Simpson Electric, don't respect their customers. Happily there are other good electrical companies in the Charlotte area...but Simpson is not one I will do business with.

Simpson Electric provided excellent service on a number of jobs in my new home. The electricians were on time, professional & neat. I will definitely use them again for any of my electrical needs & recommend them highly.

Excellent Job - I have read a previous review and my experience was the opposite. Yes the electricians were young, but extremely professional, well prepared and on time. They changed a fan positioned on a very high vaulted ceiling without any issues. I would absolutely use them again.

Milton installed 3 fans in our new home in Cresswind Wesley Chapel. He was very professional and flexible when we had to reschedule him due to another vendor. Very nice man!!! Highly recommend!!! Debbie

Simpson Electric completed all the wires in our new build. My husband and I noticed some intermittent power outages and we reached out to Simpson Electric as we thought it was a wiring issue. Frankie and Roland came out to our house as soon as we called them and provided great customer service while we were trying to figure out the issue. The issue ended up being a power company issue (and is now fixed), but I just want to say how great they both were to work with! I would recommend them based on their work and customer service!

Great company with knowledgeable and well experienced staffing. I had Simpson Electric complete all the new wiring in my home after it caught fire from a lightning storm. Very pleased with the punctuality and workmanship. To date i have had no issues and would recommend them anytime.

Simpson is the company that did the electric for MI homes. It is the worst electrical wiring I've ever seen. Now, having to change breakers after 13 years, I open up the main panel and the wiring is also as bad as the wiring I've seen in-house. There is no slack on the wires. In order to make adjustments, there's bare wire showing it is just a sloppy mess. I don't understand how this company is still in business.

Wouldn't recommend them at all. Wired my house for contractor as cheap as possible. Definitely unethical in the what they did. Cut corners to maximize profits. Speed Wired my house. All outlet Wired in series, not paralleled. 15 amp circuit has 17 outlets , 5 lights . Smoke detectors not on separate circuit. Having to go thru and rewire every receptacle.

Simpson is the way to go.
Not only did they wire my home (new construction) they also came back and added security lighting.
They are busy so be patient and persistent but when Brian calls back- answer and set your appointment!
Tony is my dude. I'm sure they all great though. And they are reasonable.

Being in the industry as long as I have, you have to be able to count on your team. Joe, Andy & Pete are those guys. Well versed in what they do, very fair in their pricing, but most of all, dependable. With the economy booming, its hard to find reliable partners, but thats what we have with Pyramid Electric.

I’ve known Joe and others for at least 10 years. They’ve always been helpful, efficient and fair. I highly recommend them!
