Starnes is a good choice for residential electrical projects. Treston was our electrician he was a great communicator very customer friendly and knowledgeable. Starnes was exceptional with communication between the office and the field as well. They completed all the necessary paperwork with Duke Energy and facilitated the flow of documents to the customer. Overall great experience, very competitive and would highly recommend.

Adrian did a fantastic job putting up our light/fan fixtures. The job was done quickly and everything looks and works great! He even told us what remote we can purchase for another fixture we lost the original control for. He was beyond helpful as well as courteous. I paid them $2,600 to install 3 high end chandeliers in my home and repair an outlet. It took 3-4 folks to install them over a period of a few days. It wasn't smooth but they gave 3 to 4 star service. Definitely servicable. They were several young guys who I had to correct and tell to not play their Spotify music in my house as I was working from home. Nice guys all around though.
The reason for the low rating is that there was a 90 lb chandelier they were unable to install and so they gave me a separate quote. The amount they quoted was of $6,000. That was 5x the cost of the light. I chalk it up to inexperience but I got another qualified company to do the work with 2 people for $750.
I requested a breakdown of the estimate and they declined to respond. Instead they just resent the fixed price quote again. They said they needed an Aladdin lift vs scaffolding. The two guys did it with basic scaffolding of course. Whether their rate was high because of poor estimation of the level of effort needed to do they work or because they were trying to gouge me, it left an awful taste in my mouth. I feel cheated even though I declined the service from them.

I talked with Shannon explained my problem, she is the best! Had a service person set up for the next day, Treston Powers, he checked everything out explained what needed to be done. Work was completed and I am very satisfied with this company

We would highly recommend Starnes Electric. Our neighbor had a wonderful experience with them and referred them to us. Shannon was very professional when I first called them. Then, Dalton and his assistant were very professional and competent when they came to give a quote + do the work. We were so impressed that we signed up for their "preferred customer" program.

Treston was very personable & professional. He attempted to resolve the fan issue, but due to age it’s seizing up & needs to be replaced. He confirmed that a replacement part was available & quoted the replacement cost. I approved the replacement quote & look forward to getting the new fan installed.

Starnes Electric provided our family with honest service and quality work. We hired them to wire our shed and experienced several delays due to county permitting that Shannon patiently guided me through and rescheduled our job as needed until the permit was approved. Treston and Anthony did the installation. They explained the work ahead of time, sought clarification about our preferences while in process, cleaned up after themselves, and ensured the work was to our satisfaction before closing the request. We have been very satisfied with Starnes’ communication, integrity, professionalism, pricing, and work quality. We’ve worked with other companies in the area and we plan to use Starnes exclusively for our future electrical needs.

Great work! I’ve dealt with several of the technicians over the years. Each one of them has been knowledgeable, polite, and very user-friendly. Their work is terrific! They also clean up after themselves, which is a very nice feature. Highly recommend!
