I met Mr Thorson in June of 2021, a hot Friday evening and the AC system crapped out. Mr Thorson came out late in the evening and got things running. I was amazed that we got it fixed on short notice late on a Friday.
The next June (this year) same story, we discussed replacing the system and both agreed it was a good idea.
Installation day I was surprised to meet Jackie, as the installer.
She and her assistant (female assistant) did a fine job.
I would highly recommend this local family business to anyone looking for help on any HI/Vac system. They are knowledgeable, prompt and in general great people to deal with.

They came and replaced my furnace but told me nothing about needing combustion air vents till after I failed my inspection. I setup 2 appointments for them to come check it out and see what we can do to resolve it but they never showed up. 2 months later down the road I speak to them about possibly adding those in and they wanted to charge me more. For someone who’s been in this business for 30+ years I assumed they knew everything that was needing to be done and get it right the first time but I guess not. They wasted my time and I will not recommend them to anyone.

My outside a.c. unit stopped working. I had gotten a service tech out to help me from another company in sioux falls. The company I reached out to told me my furnace/ac were both shot! They told me it was irreparable and that I'd be spending over $10k just to get it all running again.

I felt like I needed a 2nd opinion, so I went with Thorson.

It was by far the best choice I could've made in my situation. Not only did they answer my call almost immediately, they had somebody out to me almost immediately too!

Long story short, he was here for less than 2 hours and had everything running again perfectly for less than $200!!

Better believe this will be the only company I call for my hvac needs.

Thorson came out for a same day repair on the day before Christmas Eve. They had to climb the roof in -36 F windchill to chip ice from our chimney in the dark so we could have heat for Christmas. I highly recommend this business, they're the best.

Very good customer service to the phone call and the tech Zane! I had a seized motor on my furnace and he was able to get the part and put it in very quickly! Thank you Thorson!

Thorson delivered us heat when temps were at their coldest! Braving the cold on a Sunday to bring us comfort is appreciated. But the timely service, extensive knowledge, and friendly personality is what sealed the deal for me! Recommend 10/10

Best HVAC company around! Trustworthy, respectful, caring and great service. They literally become like family.
Our daughter, 6 years old, absolutely loves working with the Team when they come to do yearly checks. They never hesitate her tagging along and asking all her questions.

We had to have our central AC replaced and while it was a big expense, Thorson did an outstanding job. They answered all of our questions and did absolutely first-rate work. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My furnace stopped delivering heat in my new home. Thank goodness Thorson Heating had stickers on my furnace so that I knew who to call. It was 49 degrees in my home and 10 degrees outside. Rob arrived timely and quickly determined the issues of my furnace. He had to pick up the parts which would not be available until the next day. He went back and got me 2 space heaters. I went to sleep warm and comfortable that night. Next morning he installed the parts lickety split! He's won my loyalty and appreciation for life!

This company is outstanding. We have used them before and always been impressed. We just had a new furnace and AC installed and the level of knowledge, timeliness, customer centric focus, work ethic, cleanliness, flexibility and going above and beyond, and just good old fashioned kindness was amazing. Jackie and Zane exemplify owning your work and caring. Zach is focused, hardworking, and gets the job done. Zane actually discovered a water leak and helped us get someone in and worked in tandem despite that hurdle. I am just a customer who wants you to know if you choose this company you will have made a sound decision. They actually care about thier customers.

Our air conditioner stopped working last night. I called Thorson this morning and they had a tech out to us same day. He was very thorough, very polite, and very professional. He fixed our A/C and the price was very reasonable. This is our second positive experience with Thorson. Highly recommend!
