Jackie, and her wonderful staff, at Thorson Heating & Air, responded immediately to our call for service, after our furnace broke down on a very cold, SD, January day. Service technician, Zach, was able to diagnose and quickly resolve the issue(s) our furnace was having. After looking at our options Jackie and Zach provided, we decided on purchasing a new furnace to replace the broken down, old furnace. Thorson provided space heaters to keep our house warm, until our new furnace was installed the following morning, by Zach and Zane. When my wife and I returned home from work on the day of installation, our new thermostat and furnace was pumping out the heat; working efficiently. Jeff and Isaac were a tremendous help getting our furnace back and running. Cannot thank them enough for the quick turn-around and going out of their way to ensure we knew all our options.

We had sewage backup and had to get a pipe replaced, so we called this company to get it fixed because they had good reviews. The whole process was a nightmare from start to finish. Every day they told us it would be several thousand dollars more to fix, on top of that our insurance company did not want to cover anything so we had to pay $30K out of our own pocket for them to partially replace a section of a pipe and then jimmy-rig the rest make it somewhat function, so we don’t have any peace of mind for the future. The best part is that they left a total mess in our front yard, dirt and mud everywhere, they even cracked our sidewalk, destroyed a section of our neighbors yard. NO property restoration included in the bill. The average person doesn’t just have $30K laying around to give away, It’s like these people didn’t give a rip whatsoever. We basically paid $30K for an unfinished job, just like if you were to take your car into a body shop and they put unpainted panels on, headlamps in the front seat, bumper hooked half on, emblem missing and hand it off to you and say “ok you’re car is all fixed and ready for pick up! Now pay us $30K!” That’s exactly what it’s like with these guys. They didn’t put the on the customers shoes to feel what the customer feels and see that their house is a home with value. If I were the owner of comfort hero’s and charged a customer that much I would go the extra mile to make sure their property looks exactly the way it used to be before the incident. Absolutely unbelievable and embarrassing that we even contacted these guys. DO NOT ever use them if you have to replace a sewage pipe.

The service guys (STEFFEN & KAMREN) who came to our house to replace my air conditioner were fabulous. They were here before their time & their customer service was superior. I would recommend this company to anybody 10 times over. Everyone from the company was very helpful and kind. Jane Larson

They replaced our water heater the same day as initial appointment. Both Jeremy and Daniel were professional, respectful and courteous. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Joe, great service. I had my drain cleared. Joe had to bring in a bigger machine to get it cleared right. Now my washer can drain without overflowing on my floor.

Joseph was very polite fixed everything very well found a leak and was able to get it stopped and repaired. We appreciate his patience and willingness to get all of our needs in our home fixed! Highly recommend

Joe was awesome! Super knowledgeable and informative. I noticed a pretty big leak in my bathroom sink from the basement area and called within an hour of noticing. Joe was out here and had the problem fixed within a couple hours and also gave me some tips and areas to look out for. The best part is all work is under warranty! The estimate fee is cheaper than others i had called.

Jeremy and Daniel were great to work with on a kitchen sink installation and supply line repair. Both were very friendly, communicative, and professional.

Jeremy did the initial inspection and Daniel removed and installed the new water heater. They were both very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. It was a positive experience overall.

Joe and Daniel were great---helped me understand the pricing system and explained to me considerations moving forward. They also explained random plumbing questions I had and explained why various tests are important. Plus, they accommodated my busy work schedule where other plumbers wouldn't.

Paid $60 for an inspection that consisted of nothing. Removed a flame sensor cleaned it and then told me to buy a new furnace. Didn’t check anything else from wiring to gas flow to anything else that another company told me should have been inspected for a check up. Basically quoted me $490 to replace a flame sensor that cost $47 and I watched him take out in under 30 seconds. Honestly felt like he tried to take advantage of a young couple who he thought wouldn’t know any difference. Very disappointed in $60 for nothing.

Now I have to pay another company to come out and check the whole furnace out since this guy didn’t….
