I set up an appt for an inspection specifically asking for a time and day, and never showed up. The day I called I asked to make sure that time/day worked because of the specific time frame we we working with and he said yes. He did not care that he could not give out of the office to make it to the inspection.

Old man Thorson was grumpy the entire service. Like coming to work on my a/c was such an issue. Poor customer service. 0/10 recommend!!

I was referred by family to them when trying to fix my parents air conditioner. I bought an electric motor from them and was assured it was the correct one for my parents air conditioner. It was not! I went back the next day to return it and was only then told by the owner that all electrical sales are final. I never even took it out of the box. It was easy to see it wasn’t the right shaft. I am a licensed electrical contractor from the area, so I fully understand a policy like that, but I was misinformed from the start and now I have to pay for it. They must need the 400 bucks a lot more than me I guess.

A/C went out while I was out of town and these fine folks had me up and running the next day. They took a look at my equipment, and told me there was no need to upgrade anything. Fixed my capacitor, cleaned up the unit, and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Thank you!

I have called and left several messages and emailed, they will not call me back or send me an email. I have spent over $1000 in repairs all together for two visits. I have asked for a HVAC diagnostic letter for google nest on the thermostat they say burned out my motherboard on my furnace. I was told they would email it to me and still haven’t received it. With the amount of money I have spent and my house was 80 degrees the last two days, I am not very happy. I don’t have the nest thermostat installed anymore either.

Great service! Jackie diagnosed the problem quickly and got my furnace working during this last Polar Vortex. I would definitely recommend Thorson for HVAC problems. Thanks again,

We called Thorson when our AC went out in the middle of July (with temps in the 90s), and Jackie was here in less than two hours of our call. Jackie was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick - she had our AC back up and running in an hour’s time! Thank you!

My neighbor recommended this company. Im new to the area and Im also from out of state. By far these are the niceset most courteous and professional peolpe I have meet. Zane showed up, told me what needed to be done and fixed the problem. All on a Sunday. Great service, fair price and excellent work. I highly reccommend them😀😀

I had called Lowe's and another company for quotes before Thorson since my air-conditioning was out. both companies only gave me a quote for a new system.
When I called Thorson, Jackie came out the same say and got my system running again right away. It's not completely fixed because yes I will need a new system but she got it to function again at 60% efficiency enough us to cool us down n this 90 degree temperature whole we get the new stuff figured out. It was awesome!

Our furnace motor ended up seizing at midnight on one of the coldest days during the 2019 polar vortex. Called for emergency service and got Jackie. She showed up quickly and immediately knew what was wrong. It didn't take her long, and our furnace was back up and running! Cannot thank Thorson's and Jackie enough for their knowledge and quick work. Highly recommend to anyone needing HVAC repaired and maintenance.

Our family has depended on Thorson Heating & Air Conditioning for more than 25 years. They've always offered us, fast and affordable service. I love how the business has remained on the East Side of Sioux Falls and stayed in the family for 75 years.
