I had an oak tree that was rotting at the base. Dylan came out and assessed it as well as all my other trees and gave good advice. Ultimately, we had to remove the tree. I was extremely worried about damaging my front yard during the removal process. They were understanding, and we delayed removing the tree for several months so that conditions would be ideal in order to mitigate damage to my lawn and allow it to recover from any potential damage that might occur. They were understanding, and we ended up rescheduling several times due to weather and other factors. They removed the tree relatively quickly (they were done by 3 pm), and there was minimal disturbance to my yard. I have had non-arborist tree services remove trees at other properties in the past, and this was the best experience.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received. First, Rachel who handled my appointment was fantastic to include quickly rescheduling my appointment after a severe thunderstorm canceled our original meeting time. Excellent and timely communication.

Ben who arrived to look at our trees was very thorough and informative. One thing that I greatly appreciated was that Ben provided me with simple treatments that I could do myself to keep my trees happy and healthy. On top of the little things for self care, Ben put together a comprehensive plan for future trimming of our trees to keep them healthy into the future.

Well worth the $50 consultation fee.

The. Best. They truly care about trees and people! It’s never fun to talk about removing trees, but they provided us with lots of options for an older oak tree and for a Hemlock. They took lots of time to make sure we understood and answered all our questions (who knew there were so many tree questions)

Owners are kind, community oriented folks. I wouldn’t hesitate to use the again!

We needed to remove a large tree branch that was hanging over our driveway. Benjamin Moore showed up on time for the consultation, then stayed in touch until he arrived to do the work. Rain was in the forecast for the appointed day, so Scenic City proactively reached out and asked to do it a couple of days ahead. That was much appreciated because we were going to have several cars parked under the overhanging branch on Thanksgiving Day.
Love that they are certified arborists and that they truly care about preserving trees if it’s possible.

Scenic City volunteered at a planting event on Signal Mountain. Nancy and Rachel helped us learn proper planting techniques and taught us a lot. It’s clear this company is highly skilled, professional and passionate about what they do. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for an arborist!

I've had Birchman Tree Service out twice, once to prune back dead limbs and trees over hanging my home, and once to remove a tree that was starting to lean. Danny is great, he really knows his stuff and cares about the heath of your trees.

They come out quickly, are affordable, and do an excellent job!

We have used Daniel on multiple occasions to drop trees for us. He comes when he says he will and is always dependable. We have referred him to many neighbors that have been completely satisfied as well. We will always recommend Daniel to all of our friends and family.

Danny and his team did an amazing job trimming trees in our yard. He was quick to respond to our request for a quote, he listened to what we wanted done, and did a wonderful job educating us as to what his recommendations were based on our list. He gave a reasonable price and showed up as scheduled. Because we were at work, he made sure to send a video and make sure we were pleased with the job before he left. We have already scheduled for him to come back in the fall for a tree removal.

I had a large tree near my home that needed to be removed. Birchman Tree Service was quick to quote the job, reasonably priced, showed up on time, and did exactly what they said they would do. It’s obvious these guys are pro’s because they were quick to drop the tree and worked in a safe manner. Would highly recommend to friends and family!!

I have used Birchman Tree Service a couple of times now. I have been very happy with their service and plan to continue to use the for future jobs. They have been very accommodating with my schedule and easy to work with.

What a pleasure! Danny was willing to help me with a small job when so many others I called were not. 2 small limbs on my oak were menacing the power lines to the house. EPB wouldn't take care of it. And other services had $500.00 minimums and this job wasn't a $500.00 job. Danny was recommended so I called him. And it just happened he could come right away and take a look. He decided it would take no time at all and just went ahead and took the limbs down for a VERY reasonable rate! I'm a senior on a fixed income so that means a lot to me that someone would be flexible with charges. I have more work for Danny! Good to know someone so nice and fair!

We had a 60-70ft Silver Maple looking worse for wear. It was 15ft from the house, 5ft from the neighbors garage, smooshed next to the shed and close to the other neighbor's fence. He and his took it down to less than a foot on the stump (where we wanted it) in about half a day and left everything looking clean.

Excellent service, fair price, and great communication. Dropped two trees safely and quickly—in around two hours. I highly recommend Birchman if you're looking for a tree service company.

We had a great experience with Birchman Tree Services! He responded immediately to my text, then later came by and quoted a price (with a brief explanation) for trimming the tree above our parking area. A couple days later, he got the work done safely and efficiently exactly like we’d discussed. For sure this is who we’ll call next time.

Great company. I thought I’d have a long wait but they came out ridiculously fast to take a look at and quote a tree removal. They came the next day and patiently advised me as I struggled through analysis paralysis. Super friendly, efficient, skilled, and economical. What else you could ask for in a company?
