Had base ordered week before had me scheduled this morning and I have to call them to find out it can no longer be delivered at the appointmented time not reliable!

So disappointed in their product and their refusal to give a refund for HORRIBLE garden soil that they TOLD us to get. We have given Shelton so much business over the years and I will never use them again.

Great customer service was able to save me a lot of time and energy they got my pea gravel dumped in the best place possible

Recently I bought a pallet of flagstone from Shelton Landscape and supply. They offered great service with competitive pricing, I will definitely be returning to Shelton for more of my landscaping materials.

I purchased 4 yards of gravels (equals 8,000 lbs.) from Shelton's and had them deliver. It looked less than what I needed but I went ahead and placed it inside my foundation where I plan on pouring a concrete floor next week. I used 2 different online gravel (base) calculators which confirmed I needed 3.85 yds of gravels so the 4 should have been ample but it came up short by approx. a yard. Took some pics to show them but it didn't matter. I like the guys I've been working with over the past couple of months for topsoil and now gravel but I believe the bucket they use is a little shy in Shelton's favor. I've learned a lesson for gravel I will purchase from the quarry since I paid $125 for Shelton's delivery fee. At least at the quarry I will get a weight statement confirming the actual weight of the gravels which will equate to the yards I order.
Update: The additional yard of gravels still wasn't enough so I had to pick up one more yard so 6 of Shelton's yards of gravel equated to the 4 that I actually required based on the online gravel calculator.

I have only been ordering bulk supplies from here. Prices are good, order is accurate when they delivered my gravel. Price is fair. I will use them in the future.

Shelton’s Landscape supply has always taken care of everything I need. With a great selection of rock and gravel if they don’t have it on hand they will get it for you fast. I use to buy my fertlizer’s and grass seed elsewhere because I wasn’t familiar with their brand. After giving their brand a chance a few years back I’ve never used anything else. Their tall fescue grass seed sprouts better than other seeds that is double the price. All with the best customer service anyone could ask for.

They always have product in stock and they usually have the best prices in town. Very friendly staff and efficient service!

We stopped by to buy some things that we thought would help with a problem in our yard. Through discussions with them we decided our plan would not work, but they suggested some folks who could help us. Will definitely be back when we need to get things in the future for other projects.

Got 4 yards of mulch in a 4 yard trailer. Felt that the load was short by at least a yard. See photo.

Great place to pick up any stone for your landscaping job... and the front-end loader driver is an awesome guy!

We have used Shelton for past home landscaping projects so today my husband left work early, we packed our young kids up in the car and drove the long commute to pick up a load of rock. They say they close at 5 but be aware they do not load or take payments for anything past 4:45. We did not know this and We arrive at 4:46 and they refuse to work with us. We loved the idea of supporting a local chattanooga business but will no longer be supporting a business like this. Super unfortunate to have such poor customer service. Atleast update your hours to 4:45 if you will refuse customers after that time.

I went to this location to pick out rock for a playground. I met with an older gentleman and younger associate who pointed me toward their bulk supply area. I went and picked out the appropriate rock and took a photo of it and returned to their office. The ordered was placed and delivery date scheduled. The rock that was delivered was not the correct rock and could not be used on the playground.

I returned in-person to their office. I explained to them what happened and asked if they would waive the delivery fee for the correct rock (which was going to be purchased at full price) due to their mistake. The older man began to cuss and threaten me and refused to take responsibility for their mistake.

I would avoid using this unprofessional company at all cost.

Top quality top soil at a fair price. The employees are friendly and even though I had them load my pickup about 5 times, they were happy to do it and my business, although small, mattered to them. Excellent Job Shelton Landscape Supply!

Willing to rent the uhaul and do the paperwork, but, if you have an issue with u-haul, you're on your own. Call customer service.
Not to say necessarily anything negative, just know that they're just the middleman. Could've gone to Hixson Pike and supported corporate instead of a seemingly disinterested local business. Oh well.

They have about anything in bulk that I would need. Staff was informative, friendly, helpful, and quickly got me taken care of. When I arrived Saturday mid-morning they addressed me right away and was quick to respond. Thanks for taking care of me.

I've had multiple positive experiences with Shelton! Excellent service and delivery of river rock with good pricing. They also were super easy to work with on mulch delivery. Amy and Austin are friendly, professional and excellent to deal with.

I had a very disappointing experience at Shelton Landscape Supply. The owner who came off as a bitter old hag, was extremely rude and unprofessional, displaying a nasty attitude that made it uncomfortable to even ask the simplest of questions. It’s unfortunate because I was genuinely interested in supporting a local business, customer service is not a priority here.
I strongly urge others to think twice before doing business with this company. There are plenty of other BETTER and I do mean BETTER, landscape suppliers in the area who will give you the basic courtesy and respect every respectful customer deserves. I wouldn’t recommend Shelton Landscape Supply to anyone or anything.
