I've been through 3 Air Conditioning installs in the past 9 years (different homes) and Karns Mechanical is the best of them. They installed a new unit and did some custom duct work.
The folks who arrive to do the work are mostly family and very friendly all the way through. They look like they are enjoying what they do all the while.
My older house presented some special challenges, but they figured a way around the obstacles. I offered to pay the owner more because of the extra work, but he refused to accept it. The owner (the guy who gives the estimate) is also the guy who is going to be there when the work is getting done.
These people are honest and competent. I can tell that they are the kind that don't want to leave the job until it is properly done. What more do you want.
Oh, and they'll give you a price that others are unlikely to beat! -

I have been a customer for almost as long as Mike has been an owner of this business. I have not, in 30+ years, ever had a bad experience with Mike or his company. They have installed 2 HVAC units in two homes and done decades of annual maintenance, for my late husband and me. Repairs have been few, because they install quality units. I replaced my system with these folks last summer. This morning the thermostat was dead. No lights nothing. I called and they were here at noon. Not just one of them but the whole family that works the business. When installing my system they installed a cutoff switch in the water pan. The pan had filled due to a blockage in the drainpipe. They fixed that and check the coolant outside. They also did a courtesy check of coolant for my upstairs system. Which they had not installed! There was no charge! I won't be dealing with anyone else going forward they have my trust and appreciation.
