We had a unique job after our A/C died over the summer. We had two separate units for the downstairs of our house, and we wanted to convert to one larger unit. Chris gave us a great estimate and brought our multiple contractors to ensure the job could be done and with high quality.

So many contractors did amazing work in a short period of time (it only took three days for everything!): Robbie, Hunter, Anthony, Steve, Eric, and Vihn did incredible work on the electrical, HVAC install, getting our new thermostat set up, and ensuring everything was to code and inspected. Would definitely refer anyone to Automatic!

Tristian was my technician this morning to service my heater. He was professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions all of my questions. I have been with Automated for 6 years and every technician that has been absolutely professional.

This was my first time using Automatic, and they were absolutely fantastic! My AC went out a couple of weeks ago, right around the same time my sump pump stopped working. I called first thing in the morning, and within just a few hours they had both HVAC and plumbing technicians at my house…which was such a relief with the Memphis heat.

Blayze and Tristan from the HVAC team arrived first. Within 15 minutes, they diagnosed the problem, my compressor was completely out. Blayze walked me through everything, showed me the damage, and provided a quote on the spot. He explained they could fix it right away. As a woman, I’m always a little skeptical about being upsold or taken advantage of (I even mentioned that to him!), but Blayze immediately reassured me. He said, “No ma’am, I would never lie to you,” and continued to show me even more details about the issue. I really appreciated his honesty and transparency…and most importantly, I trusted him. I usually have a good sense about people, and both Blayze and Tristan struck me as genuine and trustworthy.

On top of that, I have a large German Shepherd who isn’t usually thrilled about strangers coming in and out. I warned them, and they were cautious and respectful. To my surprise, my dog actually warmed up to Blayze…he even played fetch with him! That honestly made my day.

While the HVAC team was working, Freddy from the plumbing team arrived. It was a full house, but he jumped right in and headed to the basement to check the sump pump. Within about 15 minutes, he had answers. Like the others, he took the time to show me exactly what was going on rather than just telling me, which I really value.

All in all, these guys were incredible. I felt safe, respected, and never pressured. This kind of service…the kind where you know people truly care about their customers…feels rare these days. Because of this experience, I will definitely continue giving Automatic my business.

James Voyles was a very knowledgeable technician. He serviced my boiler system. He took time to explain how a boiler heat system works. Then when my boiler suddenly stopped working, he came out, diagnosed and corrected the issue. I was very thankful, as it was very cold and late in the evening on a Friday when the boiler went out and customer service initially stated they couldn’t get to me until Monday…but after they called James, he came right over and serviced the boiler so we wouldn’t have to be cold all weekend!!

Blayze and Tristen came out today to fix our gas fireplace and they were great. We ended up setting up an annual service on our fireplace and heater/AC. They were punctual and very professional. I highly recommend them.

Cameron, Lane, and Jason were all so trustworthy, respectful, and professional! Cameron first came out to do my annual heat check and went above and beyond to also check my water heater and showed me that it needed replacing. Lane and Jason replaced that water heater today and did a fantastic job. Jason took a lot of time to show me all the work they did and the way the water heater works. These guys deserve all the gift cards in the world. I’m extremely impressed with Automatic on the whole, including the ladies in the office who are always delightful.

Cameron came out to service my gas fireplace and he did an outstanding job! He was extremely efficient and talked me through the process to help me understand my issues! He was very professional and I will definitely be calling Automatic back for all of my HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical needs!

I was having issues with an AC unit previously repaired by another company. Automatically Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing returned my call within two days with a same day appointment. Blayze Matley arrived EARLY diagnosed the problems and had it fixed in no time.

Fixed our hot water heater within two hours of our phone call. Dustin and Nick did a great job explaining the problem, gave us an estimate for labor costs, and verified that the parts were covered under warranty. We’re so happy to have hot water again! Their customer service was outstanding!

James Voyles did an excellent job servicing our heater! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and detailed with making sure the heater units were serviced properly! Freddy, the plumbing technician, also came a few days prior and provided these excellent qualities as well!

Blayze and Tristan were on time and were able to do regular semi-annual maintenance, and were also able to help with an ongoing issue that was never resolved in the past. I was impressed with their quality level of service and obvious excellent skill set. So nice and courteous, and explained all well. I highly recommend this team of HVAC professionals, and will use them for other services, as well.

Cody came out to the house earlier today for a maintenance inspection and made everything very easy to understand for those who may be unfamiliar with HVAC functionality/terminology. These guys work fast and thorough. It's pretty great to have year-round peace of mind that our home's HVAC system is operating optimally. I highly recommend Automatic for all your HVAC system needs.

Robbie, Jeffrey and Chase did an excellent job! They arrived on time, were very professional, and got the installation done in a timely manner. They also made sure that my carpeting was protected and left no trace that work had been done. Great crew!

I’ve used Automatic Air Conditioning-Heating-Plumbing for several years at two houses. I’ve always had excellent service with friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable people. They are prompt and take the time to explain all services and repairs needed. They are always on time and come within a day of calling. They call me to schedule my repetitive services so I don’t have to remember. A company this well run is a demonstration of leadership, professionalism and customer service from bottom to the top.

I was receiving estimates in July 2025 to replace my air conditioning unit, and Chris Lewellen came out. Chris was very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. His estimate was also very competitive. Although I felt no sales pressure, I did feel the pressure to give them a 5 star rating if I were to choose them. I heard a lot of emphasis on that they are the only company with a 5 star rating. I would surely have given a 5 star if that were my experience but not because that was the expectation. Ultimately, out of the four estimates I received, I went with a company that I already had a relationship that was very competitive with no sales or ratings pressure. I would certainly recommend Automatic for their knowledgeability and fair pricing, but the pressure for a five star rating gave me pause.

I have been looking for a reputable company that wants to take the time to do a quality job evaluating and servicing both of my HVAC units. I have had very poor service from a variety of other competitors. It stuck out to me when the Automatic van I saw said "since 1943". My downstairs A/C unit was not turning the heat on and the diagnosis came back that the unit needed to be replaced. I wasn't looking forward to the price to replace the unit, but the financing Automatic offered was exceptional. Being reassured when the time came to replace the unit was when several very experienced and professional technicians came to do the install. The lead installer even came and introduced himself and asked if we had any questions. Cameron came back out when I had questions about how to change the filters in the unit. Thank you to everyone at Automatic! I look forward to to a great working relationship in the future!

He explained everything to me, advised me on filters for our system, and assisted me in navigating the control panel for the system to access features I was unaware of.
