ASP is the ONLY Pool company to consider in Nashville. If you are using someone else you should really think about changing. I am so glad I found them and got rid of our old pool service company, they do it right and for fair prices.

Derrick handles there service, repairs and construction stuff and he is THE MAN. He knows what he is doing and gets things done efficiently so that you aren't paying a fortune for repairs. You never have to worry with Derrick as he is a true professional and communicates well throughout the process. In this business there are so many pretenders out there but Derrick has both the experience and common sense to take care of any problem.

Tavi handles our weekly cleaning and maintenance and he does such a good job. He takes his time and makes sure it's all done right before he leaves. Also, he actually adjusts the chemicals to proper levels for a home pool--and trust me, this matters. Other companies just jack up the chlorine because it's easier for them than getting it right. Not Tavi! He gets it perfect so that you can enjoy your pool in optimum conditions.

I summary, I wish I had found ASP a year ago, they would have saved me a ton of headaches (and money). Do yourself a favor and switch to ASP...it was the best decision for us and will be for you too.

All I can say is that these guys are the best. John (the owner) has been unbelievably responsive. I found this company after I fired another local company for charging me for cleanings that were not being done. John and his team have been great and the pool is in great shape. Branden, our tech, does a great job of communicating any issues and when he has to change the schedule. Timely, honest and fair...3 things that are very important to me when dealing with tradesmen. You will not be disappointed!

I wanted to give an updated review of ASP because they have come to my rescue twice in the past two weeks. With the cold weather, I have had some valves break and each time caused aweful leaks that were hard to stop. I was impressed at how fast they responded and fixed the problem in the same day to prevent more damage from being done to my equipment and house. I really appreciate Derrick, Kimber and Paul for helping me out of two jams. Thank you for continuing to be a great company that I can rely on in a pinch!

Tavi cleans our pool every Friday and does a terrific job. He is friendly and efficient - going beyond his job description to help with small pool problems that we've had. His work is greatly appreciated.

I am just adding to my review - after our trusted service tech Tavi moved, I requested Jarrett as the new tech because he had previously serviced our pool and I knew he was a hard and efficient worker. Holly and Tara at the office were very responsive to my request and although challenging to readjust the schedules, they did so and I was very appreciative. I'm grateful that they listen to the concerns of their customers.

We recently switched to ASP from another company and they have been terrific. Their administrative assistant Holly is terrific and makes scheduling very easy. John, the owner, knows his stuff and has been great with helping us get our pool back in shape after some neglect from the previous owners. Today, we had a major leak, and despite really bad weather (ice and snow), Keith and Derrick came out and helped get the system operational. They did a great job troubleshooting and making sure our pipes were in good shape to withstand the upcoming freezing temps. Given that the company was closed today, I am very grateful to them and their great service even though the most of the area is shut down due to bad weather. Their pricing is very competitive with other companies. We get the pool cleaned through them, and they send us an email, photo and pool chemistry report with every cleaning. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been using ASP for 5 years now to open and close my Pool for the winter. I’ve really never had any negative experiences regarding their performance. They have always done a fine job and opening and closing so I want to be clear that this review by no means reflects the technicians performance. I will say that I am not pleased with how they have changed the fees for their services. It used to be a flat rate to open and close with no surprises and extra fees. They did change their service fee structure to include 75 dollar follow up visits. The problem with this is you will not know how much it’s going to cost you. I paid the $300 initial invoice. They came back at least 3 or 4 times for follow ups which occurred to me as being very unusual considering it never took more than 2 visits to get my Pool swim ready in the years past. Why did it take so many visits this time? Perhaps the $75 follow up fee for each additional follow up? They came twice for only a couple minutes and then left. Hey , another $75 bucks!
I’m not one to really ever leave reviews but this didn’t sit well with me.
I reached out to a employee who proceeded to tell me they are priced very competitively compared to other Pool companies in Nashville so I immediately called Pool and spa depot and they quoted me a $250 flat rate plus 40 in chemicals for openings. I shared this with the employee and in response she said well “good luck with them. They never show up on time like us”
Anyways it’s too bad because the owner John seems like a nice guy but I’ll probably take my chances with the depot next time!

I am SO SO pleased with my new weekly maintenance/pool cleaner Branden!!! He totally went above and beyond today to make sure my pool and the pool area (he blew all of those pesky helicopter seeds off the pool deck for me...that normally takes me an hour to sweep!!), and my pool has never looked so spotless before! He took the time to talk with me and answer all of my questions in a knowledgeable and professional, friendly manner. I have used this service for years because the owner John is honest, very reasonable prices, always available when I have any problems or questions, and I completely trust that he can solve any issues that come up and will do so as quickly as possible. I have used many services over the years, and I am SO grateful to have finally found one I can trust!!

I have been quite pleased with ASP services. My previous pool service no longer takes care of opening pools and I feel very fortunate to have come upon this company. They took care of both my opening and closing last year Jesse/ Derrick went out of their way to fix everything and make sure I understood everything, even following up with text messages, thank you.

When we bought our new property last year-2014. The house came with a different local pool cleaning company that charged too much plus a chemical fee on top of the cleaning charge. I shopped around and came across ASP right away and John set me up with not only a great all-inclusive cleaning package but truly wonderful customer service. Our old pump was replaced with a new energy efficient pump that is much quieter as well. We are very happy satisfied customers and would recommend ASP to everyone! The only con I ever ran into in 2 years is the turnover seems to be high with the cleaners hired; you get to know someone and the route changes, etc. I really liked Brandon, he had hard-to-find great work ethic.

ASP has been great. Derek came out and upgraded our pump and filtration system. He did it quickly and walked me through how to work the new equipment. Simple and easy. They are also doing weekly cleaning and maintenance and so far I have zero complaints.

By far the best pool company I've worked with in Nashville so far. Victor does a thorough job with my pool, shows great attention to detail, is courteous, and shows up at a regular time each week. He also does a great job communicating any issues I have or might have and has always been more than happy to answer any of my questions. Very high quality service provider all the way around!

The owner, John, has been responsive to any problems we have had (that come with owning a pool). Branden Lewis always goes above & beyond to clean our pool and communicate with us about cleanings or service issues. Super friendly!

This is the best pool company we have used yet! Our last company would clean the pool and charge us for chemicals of which they double billed for chemicals numerous times and I had to get them to reverse the overcharges at least 6 times (it happened three times in one year and added up to over $400 in overcharges) in 2019. ASP includes their chemicals in their fees and they email pictures after every cleaning. The pool has been maintained much better than before and I am so glad I switched to them. Our neighbors use them and they gave ASP a great reference. We have used ASP since the December 2019 and we leave our pool open year round. We are very happy we made the change to ASP. We also can absolutely say that we recommend them highly!!!

My old filtration and pumping system finally bit the dust. Derrick and Randy from ASP did a great job replacing and updating my system. ASP Nashville is a top notch operation. Unlike most pool "professionals," in the area, the folks at ASP actually answer the phone AND return phone calls! Crazy concept right? And they deliver great craftsmanship and quality when they say they will. Great outfit. Very fair prices. Don't waste your time going with someone else. Call ASP.

We had a really great experience with pool service. Derrick was able to assist us with servicing, programming, and helping get our pool up and running, effectively and efficiently. So glad. After his amazing job we ended up switching our pool cleaning to ASP.

We've been using ASP Nashville for the last 3 years and they've always done great work. In addition to cleaning and maintenance they've replaced our heater, installed a salt chlorine generator, replaced the head on our sand filter, and helped get fiberglass repaired and retiled our entire waterline after damage from a fallen tree. Highly recommend!

Initial visit - Easy scheduling, on-time arrival, completed repair of pressure gauge timely, made sure all pumps were operating properly, and communicated clearly before, during, and after work was done.

Subsequently returned to follow up on completed work. And recently had an on-site consultation with Josh & Missie regarding some upgrades and discuss possible options for “leaf management”; we have a large tree in our yard and I wanted to brainstorm a solution to significantly reduce the amount of leaves I had to filter, skim, and scoop.

Every experience I’ve had with this company has been very professional AND courteous.

We switched pool companies to ASP this summer and have been really pleased with their work quality and company communication. After having some issues with our filter, Derrick and Missy were able to recommend and oversee a new filter system installed. The pool now looks great! Would definitely recommend this company.

After having trouble with a sand filter previously installed by another service provider, ASP recommended swapping to a cartridge filter. I made the swap, and am very thankful I did. My pool is much clearer and my pump even seems to be running more efficiently.

John the owner is very knowledgeable and hands on and cares about his customers very much as is evident in the quality customer service he and his staff/team provide. Each of them are greatly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. ASP is a top-notch company and we wouldn’t consider another pool service company in the area. We have used their services for several years and they have been helpful, fair, and a delight to have expertly maintaining our pool year-round. The pool is always clean, clear, and a joy to use with confidence. We highly recommend this company!

We LOVE Asp! John is the best there is! I manage several properties- recently one of them was under contract to be sold and buyer wanted the pool to be opened and running perfectly before signing. We had less than a week and pool with major issues. ASP came through in every way possible! Specifically Derek who stayed to work late on the equipment and Holly who did a fantastic job at scheduling everything. There were a couple other guys who worked over the weekend to help us out too. They are absolutely dependable and do a wonderful job every time!
