Also, I personally live in a vintage home and Tom and his crew put in a new breaker panel, New 22 V for my hot tub, and helped and electric meter and it’s smooth sailing now at my home which I very much appreciate.

Tom and his team were friendly and professional! They did an excellent job on our commercial project! Our pool phone line was cut during landscaping. Tom was able to troubleshoot and track down the problem and repair it quickly while improving the original infrastructure. Would absolutely recommend him for any electrical and wiring needs!!

Tom of the Wire Guy put in my Generac generator and did a very nice clean job. He was quick and very professional.. He also did some difficult wiring and hook ups for the generator. I’m about to use him again on another Wire project. he is easy to work with reasonably priced, generally a good guy. Would highly recommend him.

Tom and crew changed and modernized my meter and electrical service. He was able to install a temporary electrical service and rewire everything up to my existing breaker boxes and keep all my service working while he juggled codes inspections and my unique situation. His work is very competent and passed all inspections first time.

This is the electrician you're looking for. Knowledgeable, experienced and reliable. He also took time to explain some issues that we had as well as his plan to make things right and safe for our home. Price is very fair as well.

Tripled the quote I was originally given and only found out via emailed invoice after the job was done.  Tom told me his son who quoted me "knows nothing about electrical" and that "I got a deal". Lied about original quote (of which I have text message proof).  Told me how “not fun” the job he did for me was.

Edited in response to owners response. Including text message quote and receipt (which I paid) which validates the above. I am a very reasonable person and can realize jobs can get more complicated, but not having a discussion with the customer about the very substantial change in price is just absurd. Then just sending an invoice. Then making it seem like I got a deal… and last time I checked most jobs aren’t “fun” and the only reason they finished at 6:30pm (the dark) is because they didn’t show up until noon.

There’s nothing about me “doing the right thing” here. I am sharing my experience and backing it up with facts. Having transparent conversations upfront with your customers about scope and pricing seems like a perfectly reasonable ask.

Lastly, like others have said, the work Tom does is quality. He did a good job and we are happy with the work product. I will update my rating to reflect.

Best Electricians in Nashville! I have worked with contractors for over 30 years on various projects. Gervais Electric is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They have done work on my personal home as well as for clients. They are very careful and always clean up after their work. I replaced several light fixtures and added some exterior outlets in our screened in porch, and moved a chandelier to center it. The light fixtures had hundreds of tiny glass pieces and the big one was 16 feet in the air. Just beyond impressed with their care and attitude. Thank you Gervais for being exceptional!

My company had a very large power project that required NES to install a new pole, transformer and connection to a new building. Gervais Electric went above and beyond connecting our new building with backup power connection too. Quality work, great value, professional, responsive and always on time.

Had Paul the owner come by first and take a look at the my house to install a Tesla charging station. Got the quote-- they were a bit higher than their competition but far more professional -- Went with them and Samantha- booked the service call--

Mike and Will arrived right on time and they sent me a text message ten minutes before the arrival.

Mike explained everything they were going to do and called me down to the garage when they had a few options for me to look at.

Ran the wiring and in about two hours they were done.

I am very pleased with the quality of work that I received from Gervais Electric. Eddie was extremely polite and did an amazing job with installing multiple lights including a foyer chandelier and ceiling fan that hung from my second floor and required an 18 foot ladder to install. I encountered a small administrative error that was immediately resolved when I called Kathy Gervais (the owner) directly on her cell phone. I am glad that I used a locally owned company that cares about their customers. I firmly believe it is important to support locally owned businesses and this is a great company to use.

Gervais has helped us with several home projects. They are responsive to questions and provide good service. Today was a minor issue with a faulty outlet. Will Robertson and his helper showed up on time, identified the issue, and quickly fixed it.
