Constraction reviews in Allen, Texas

I just wanted to share my experience with Cardinal Roofing. Omar and his team did our roof and fence after the hail storm last May of this year. They helped negotiate with the insurance company, did a fantastic job on power washing and restaining our fence (it looks brand-new), replacing our roof and screens, and helping with a few other things. He was very easy to work with. He is local and quick to respond to any and all questions. Transparent in all work and costs. Easy to schedule so we could be there when it was done.

We have lived in Allen for 40 years and have had to have our roof done a number of times. Omar has been far and away the easiest and best to work with. He has earned our business and I wanted to pass this along to my neighbors. If/when I need another roof he will be the first company I will call!

We had an extensive hailstorm damage to our roof and fence earlier this year. We called a couple of roofers to give us estimates. Omar came out from Cardinal and his professionalism and kindness made our decision an easy choice. Omar did everything in his power to get the maximum out of the insurance company an even more that covered fence and wood work on our property. Omar and his team were always on time, showed up to complete the job with high quality and accuracy. When we had some problems arose Omar immediately picked up the phone and took care of everything. He even came out post work to check if everything was OK. I can't say enough good things about Omar and his team. Do not hesitate to call Cardinal for your exterior needs, you will be well taken care of with quality work. Thank you, Omar and Team. We appreciate your business and kindness.

I am thrilled to once again share my positive experience as a repeat customer of Cardinal Roofing. This time around, they have successfully replaced my roof, gutters, window screens, and even handled the staining of my front door. The exceptional communication maintained by Omar throughout the entire process was truly commendable. What stands out even more is the seamless and surprise-free journey they've provided.

Omar's team consistently upholds a high standard of courtesy and respect for our property, which has left me thoroughly impressed. It's this level of professionalism and dedication that keeps me coming back to Cardinal Roofing for all my home improvement needs.

Kudos to the team for their outstanding work!

I decided to call Omar and Cardinal Exteriors and Roofing after a bad experience with my last Roofing Repair (2014). I am very happy with the work done by Omar and his team. They have replaced my Roof, washed and stained my fence and replace all my gutters and screens. Omar explained me through every step of the process and he was always available to call whenever I had a question. Amazing job and a very nice and friendly customer service. I will be using this company again with no doubt. Thank you Omar and his team keep up with the fantastic job! I will recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

I was very impressed with Omar's professionalism and expertise. He was able to complete my cement floor project quickly and efficiently, and the finished product looks great. I appreciate his attention to detail and his commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Omar for any roofing or exterior projects.

Friendly service and best experience working with a roofer. Also family owned. Use high-quality products. Workers were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. handled all issues with the insurance company so I had a little to do.

I used Omar and his team to install new counters in my kitchen. I would recommend them to anyone. They were honest, reliable, and trust-worthy. Omar walked me through every step of the process, and was super responsive to all of my questions and ideas. They did a fantastic job installing my new counters, and then afterwards Omar took the time to walk me through everything they had done. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Omar Herrera’s staff in Cardinal were excellent to work with from start to end of our roof and fencing replacements. He was extremely patient in detailing project scope and pricing, and was patient with our questions.

We’ve already recommended Cardinal to our nearby neighbors and family living in Wylie.

Well done Omar.

Working with Omar and his team was wonderful, easy, affordable, and I am entirely satisfied with the work they completed. My house looks amazing and I didn't have to lift a finger! Omar went the extra mile on everything without me even having to ask. I wholeheartedly recommend Cardinal Exteriors and Roofing to everyone!

To illustrate how refreshingly easy it was to work with Omar: while the painters were repairing some of the siding on my home, a nail went through the A/C line for my HVAC and released all of the freon. It was a complete accident and no way to know the line went through the wall in that location. I messaged Omar to let him know what happened with a picture of where I thought the punctured line was located. He called me back less than 30 minutes later, I explained what happened, and he let me know that he already had his HVAC technician scheduled at my house first thing the next morning, and his painters scheduled to repair the wall once the HVAC line was fixed. In less than 24 hours the problem was completely resolved, and his painters did such a great job I can't even tell where my wall was cut open! Omar resolved the issue without hesitation, and (obviously) paid for the extra repair out of his pocket. If I had used a different company I'm not sure my issue would have been resolved so easily and quickly.

I strongly recommend using Omar for any roofing or house projects, he is so easy to work with, friendly, honest, kind, works with the same crews each time so I felt safe having them in my home. I'm so happy I scheduled them to do this work for me!

The hailstorm did significant damage to our roof, gutters and garage, as well as a lot of our backyard furniture. Being the typical, “your home just got pummeled” rookies, it was very intimidating how many roofers came by, many were pushy and aggressive. That wasn’t the case at all with Cardinal roofing team!!!

Omar and his team were exceptionally professional. What we appreciated the most, was that they took a lot of time educating us on the general process, laid out clear timeframes and expectations. No surprises. The team worked with our insurance and helped negotiate on our behalf, which wasn’t even something I knew we could do. They coordinated different teams to assist our needs, around our schedule. And when the teams were here, they arrived on time, cleaned up their repair areas, and were courteous during the whole process.

“Seamless” is honestly the best word to use and it doesn’t truly capture how easy this whole thing was with Cardinal Exterior and Roofing. A friend had recommended them to us, and now I’d like to share that recommendation with everyone else.

I recommend Cardinal 100%. I had many bad experiences before, so I took a risk and follow the Google reviews and took a chance with this company. I couldn't be more glad I did. We did fence, windows, painting and gutters. Excellent job, and better customer service. We had some challenges since everything is slower with covid, and we encounter some problems with the wood for the fence because it started cracking, but they took care of the problem with no complaints, and my fence looks beautiful. They really worked hard to please the customer. Omar had excellent and continuous communication with us, he came to check on the job and made sure we liked everything. I'll be doing the rest of my home remodeling with them for sure.

We used Cardinal Exteriors and Roofing for a couple of different aspects on our home. For new fascias and soffits, for a new roof and new gutters. Everything went seamlessly and without any problems from start to finish and Omar was great to deal with!. The crew was very respectful and pleasant and it was great to have our projects completed on time. Thank you Omar!

Omar Herrera, the owner of Cardinal Roofing, did an outstanding job on my home that far exceeded my expectations. Two years ago I went with a larger and more well know roofing company in the DFW area. For reasons not worth mentioning here I was left unsatisfied. Omar had performed a roofing job for some family members two years ago and they were highly impressed as was I, so for this most recent hail storm in March of 2019 I decided to give Omar a shot. That was a great decision as Omar’s attention to detail was unparalleled, and he treated it as if it was his own home. Below are some of the reasons I was left highly satisfied and a lifetime customer of his:

- He used a team that was highly trusted and with whom he had a mutual respect. Omar did not want to let me down, and they clearly did not want to let him down.
- They did not cut corners and used high quality products that we had discussed and the high quality crew completed the work quickly, efficiently, and according to the scope we had originally discussed.
- They covered my entire pool with tarp to protect it, but still took the time to attach a magnet to a string and run it along pool bottom to check for errant nails.
- Omar and his financial team were extremely efficient as far as utilizing funds from the insurance company in that the progress of the project was not delayed for things such as having to wait for supplements from the insurance and whatnot which is very common in this industry. Additionally, he threw in EXTRA jobs that I didn’t even expect, such as painting my garage or the top of my AC vent.
- The painter was also thorough and upon starting to paint the fence, I realized I wanted to change colors because it didn’t come out as I expected. So not only did Omar have them get a different paint color, but didn’t charge me for it nor the labor required to redo it. And they painted the wooden border around my flower bed to match the fence as well, which again was not required of them but they did it because they care about doing a good job.
- Omar, the owner, visited frequently and took pictures of the roof and other work that was under completion so I could get updates even when I was not at home.

I am probably missing some other details, but Omar’s care for doing a job to perfection will simply leave one referring Cardinal Roofing to everyone.

I can’t say enough good things about this roofing company. Locally owned and operated, they bring not only skill and professionalism to every job, but also a deep commitment to the community they serve. Whether it’s sponsoring school events, helping neighbors in need, or quietly supporting local causes, they always find meaningful ways to give back.
As for integrity—well, a more honest person or family simply cannot be found. They treat every client with respect, offer fair pricing, and stand by their work. It’s rare to find a business that combines craftsmanship, character, and community spirit so seamlessly. Highly recommend.

Omar and his team did an excellent job replacing our roof after a hailstorm. They made the entire insurance process smooth and easy. I highly recommend him for his honesty, professionalism, and outstanding work.

I called Omar the owner of Cardinal Roofing through a reference. He was detailed about what needed to be done and was clear about expectations with the insurance and repair. Everything went like it was told to me by Omar. The roof looks great now it is done. Did amazing work on the broken window screens and backyard panels the backyard looks like brand new. Thank you Omar Cardinal Exteriors and Roofing customer for life….

Contacted Cardinal back in April/May to inspect the roof of our house, they found damaged that the insurance inspector missed; while other contractor wanted to start right away Omar suggested we wait until the end of the hail season. Omar's teams replaced the roof, gutters, window screens, re-stained the fence; all teams were highly efficient and professional.

We have been overwhelmingly happy with Cardinal Roofing after contracting them to repair our home from hail storm damage. Our roof, window screens, fence and gutters got quite the facelift thanks to Omar and his team. Everyone was lovely to work with and everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. We will be singing their praises and will be proud to use them in the future.

We had Omar and his crew replace soffits, siding and gutters recently - VERY happy with the job they did! Omar was quick to respond and correct some very minor issues :) I’ve never worked with a contractor who was as responsive as Omar. He quoted 2 weeks for repairs and they actually finished in 2 weeks. Very pleased and will definitely use them for future repairs!

After looking for several estimates, we decided to have Cardinal Exteriors and Roofing Company taking care of our roof and gutters replacement, Omar and his crew did such a great job not only exceeding our expectations but showing high professionalism, respect, performing and completing all the job during a short period of time. All these done under a very fair price! Thank you Omar for making our home reparations stress free!

Cardinal did an excellent job of replacing my roof. I had an expectation that my roof and gutters would be a restoration of what was originally there. The shingles were a better product, and the gutters were installed with greater precision than my original roof. The result is not just a functional roof, but a very professional looking roof.
And Omar is easy to talk to and work with as a contractor.
I would highly recommend this company.
