They did a long distance move for us. Very respectful crew who did a great job. Communication with Jordan was perfection.

I have moved numerous times, and Barnacle Head was by far the BEST crew I have ever had.
The men were professional, courteous, and over the top helpful!!
And, most importantly, not a thing broken, and we all know how that happens during a move.
I’d like to hope, pray, my moving days are over, but if the occasion comes up again, this will be the company I call.

Augusto, William and their crew did an excellent job moving me last minute like less than 24hrs and it was a 4 bedroom house move at that. They were fast, reliable and professional. They took great care of my furniture and protected every piece of item. I cannot thank them enough and definitely recommend them for any type of move.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY — Completely Unprofessional, Unprepared, and Damaged My Furniture

I hired Barnacle Head Movers (yes, that’s their real name) to move me from a small one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment literally across the breezeway—same complex, just a fourth-floor unit with elevator access (except for my sofa, which I clearly stated would require stairs). I gave detailed information in advance: no heavy appliances, only a few lightweight chairs, tables, boxes, and a sofa. The company quoted me $487 for a 3-hour minimum, with $120/hour after.

From the start, this move was a disaster.

1. Late Arrival and Excuses:
They were scheduled for 2:00 PM and were supposed to call 30 minutes prior. They didn’t. I had to call them. I was told they’d arrive around 2:15–2:30. They finally showed up at 3:27 PM—already exhausted, using an unbranded U-Haul truck. The lead mover (Caucasian male) immediately began venting to me about a previous customer’s financial issues. Completely inappropriate.

2. Unprepared and Sloppy:
They brought nothing to wrap or protect my furniture—not a single blanket, shrink wrap, or strap. If I hadn’t personally covered my barstools with trash bags, they would’ve been fully exposed. I had two lightweight TV stands, a bed with just a headboard, and accent chairs I carried myself when I bought them—but these men acted like they were moving marble statues.

3. Poor Care and Attitude:
They tried to make me load both of my flat-screen TVs into my own car while I was paying them to move. When I expressed concern, they slowed down even more. I called my brother (a former mover and law enforcement officer), and when he questioned their methods, the lead mover threatened to cancel the move. They then stood around for 40 minutes, doing absolutely nothing—on the clock.

4. Disrespectful and Borderline Dishonest:
I caught the lead mover using my phone charger without asking. When I confronted him, he claimed it was his. I had photographic proof it was mine. Then things went from bad to worse.

5. Damages and Lack of Accountability:
• My expensive barstool was scuffed with a blue mark.
• My sofa, which I clearly stated would require stairs, was dragged across concrete and ripped open—badly—on the side and underneath. They tried to shove it into the elevator after being told not to.
• Clothes fell out of totes and were dropped on the ground.
• Several items were left behind until I pointed them out.
• My TVs were left sitting on the floor at the new place—still wrapped, while one guy sat in the truck on his phone.
• I had to help carry furniture into my new unit while they milked the clock.

6. Outrageous Charges and Lack of Resolution:
What should’ve been a 3-4 hour move for two men turned into a nearly 7-hour ordeal, ending at 9:40 PM. The final bill? Over $800. When I called the company to complain, the manager offered to take off 30 minutes, then 45—not nearly enough for the time they wasted and the damage they caused.

To make matters worse, the manager compared this situation to a wrong Chick-fil-A order: “You still pay for it, right?” No—I send it back and get what I paid for. And that’s exactly what I told him. I will not pay a dime until my furniture is repaired and the charges reflect the unprofessional, unacceptable service I received.

Save yourself the headache. I wouldn’t recommend this company to move a dollhouse, much less your actual home. I’m pursuing resolution through small claims court if necessary.

These guys are the real deal when it comes to getting the job done right. I moved from a larger sized home with a ton of antiques, fragile glass pieces, and several items that honestly made me nervous to move. But from the moment the crew arrived, I could tell I was dealing with professionals who knew exactly what they were doing.

They took their time walking through the house with me and pointing out the pieces that needed extra care. Every single item whether it was an old family heirloom, a glass display cabinet, or delicate décor they wrapped it, padded it, and handled with so much attention to detail that it gave me peace of mind immediately. I could tell they’ve moved high value and fragile items before because of how effiecient and knowledgeable they were.

Customer service was on point from the very beginning. Management stayed in touch throughout the entire process, making sure I was prepared and checking in. The level of communication alone made the whole experience a lot less stressful. And on the day of the move, the movers were just as friendly and reassuring. They explained everything, asked questions when needed, and kept me updated as they went along.

They showed up fully equipped with their tools, blankets, straps, dollies, and everything. Anything that needed to be disassembled and carefully reassembled, was handled with no issues at all. I was especially impressed with how they packed the truck. You could tell it wasn’t their first time dealing with complicated moves. They had everything secured, balanced, and organized perfectly.

By the time we got to my new place, not a single thing was damaged. Not one scratch, not one cracked piece of glass, nothing. That alone speaks volumes about how seriously they take their craft.

If you’re someone who worries about your belongings,especially fragile or sentimental items, then i would honestly say Barnacle Head Movers is the company you want. They exceeded every expectation I had and made what could’ve been a stressful day feel easy and controlled. Would 100% recommend them.

They checked in before the move, confirmed all the details, and made sure I understood exactly what would happen on moving day. Not once did I feel like they were cutting corners or just trying to hurry and finish the job but i can tell that they genuinely cared about doing it right.

Their manager Jordan followed up afterward to make sure everything went well, which honestly says a lot about their customer service. It's rare to find a company that stays connected before, during, and after the job, but Barnacle Head Movers did exactly that.

Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service, the communication, and the professionalism were all top-tier. I would absolutely use them again and i can honestly say they delivered on everything that i was promised when i made my reservation!!

Our home that they moved is well over 5,000 square feet, so going into this move I knew it was going to take true professionals to get it done correctly. This wasn’t just a simple move either as they packed up our entire home for us before moving. Barnacle Head Movers absolutely delivered.

From the start communication with the customer service team was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and stayed in touch leading up to our move. They assisted me very well getting everything set up.

On moving day, the crew showed up prepared in every way. They brought all the boxes, packing materials, and supplies needed, which was such a relief. I didn’t have to run to the store or worry about being short on anything as they handled it all. Watching them pack was impressive. They were careful, efficient, and clearly experienced with large homes and complex moves.

I had several heavy statues and large items that werent the typical furniture pieces. The movers handled them with confidence and care and working together seamlessly. What stood out most was how well the team worked as a unit. They communicated with each other, stayed professional, and maintained a respectful, positive attitude the entire time. You could tell they genuinely got along and took pride in their work.

Despite the size of our home and the amount of work involved, everything stayed on track. Nothing was damaged, and everything was placed exactly where it needed to go. The level of effort and attention to detail was impressive from start to finish.

Overall, this was a top-tier experience. Between the excellent customer service, the fully prepared packing crew, and the hardworking, professional movers, Barnacle Head Movers exceeded my expectations. If you have a large home or a complicated move and want it done right, these are the people you can trust.

After a horrendous experience with another local moving company, we still needed a crew to pack and move the contents of our garage - including a ton of heavy kettlebells. We found a postcard for Barnacle Head Movers and explained our situation. Jordan reassured me that they would take great care of us, and he was right!

Communication was very clear from start to finish. The crew was on-time, friendly, and efficient. They followed through on all their promises and got our belongings safely to our new place cheerfully, professionally, and in an organized manner. The checkout process was quick and easy. Chris was fantastic today! I had a 7:30-9:30a appointment window and he arrived within the first 15 minutes. He was super friendly and informative throughout the visit. I was experiencing very low water pressure in all 5 zones. I mentioned I thought the water wasn't turned on all the way so he started there first. This immediately fixed the water pressure issue in most zones. We then went through and inspected each zone during which time he helped me identify broken sprinkler heads. I had a broken pipe in one zone, which he was able to fix in about 10 minutes or so. He gave me tips to do minor maintenance in my own in the future, as well. Overall, he was only here for 90 minutes and the repair was $137. I would def recommend calling Aquamax and requesting Chris to come fix your system!

Max was extremely helpful in assessing our irrigation system to determine if there were any inefficiencies. He fixed the issue in minutes and spent time with me demonstrating the change in the water distribution and discussing other adjustments we could make to improve the system's effectiveness. Highly recommend!

Jeff and Brandon were so professional. They both deserve a raise. Lol but really there were great and very knowledgeable. Thanks for all the work. I might add it would really be helpful if you technician had some kind of shade covering to get them out of the hot sun.

Chilo and Brandon arrived right on schedule. They did a phenomenal job in assessing all of my needs and addressing each and every one, explaining, in detail, what they were fixing or updating. I am extremely happy with the work they performed and will definitely have them out on a regular basis to keep my system in peak condition.

Tony called early and said he was available if ok for me. He came right over and in less than 1 hr had the repair completed. He explained everything done and suggested another item that may need to be done in the future. Extremely happy with the work.

Really appreciated the attention to detail that Jeff took in repairing and servicing my irrigation system. He took time to answer questions & made several good recommendations. Highly recommend this company.

Contractor didn't try to take advantage of the situation by finding additional reasons to inflate the bill. Charges the same fee per hour to work on the system regardless of the work being performed. Most companies nickle and dime. I would definitely recommend this company. The contractor worked extremely fast and efficient since he knew we were paying by the hour. You don't even need to be home to get a repair done and you can trust that the won't overcharge even for a minute.

Aquamax has been my go to team for Sprinkler repair for 7 years now. Every time they come out they are quick and effective with very reasonable prices. If you need work give them a call and ask for Tony!

Highly recommend Aquamax. Chilo diagnosed our problem quickly, then explained clearly what the issues were and how he was going to fix them. We had a solenoid that needed repair as well as an issue with our controller that he addressed.

They did a great job! They were punctual, completed the work quickly, and fixed all the issues I had with my sprinklers. Highly recommend them!
