I was very pleased with the efficient and professional service I received. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and the technician Mark was on time and very kind and professional. He recommended a couple of things to try before spending thousands to cut into our floor to fix the issue. Most plumbers I've done business with just automatically recommend the most expensive option so I appreciate being given a cheaper alternative. I would recommend Mark and Pratt Plumbing to anyone who needs some work done and wants a decent price and professional service!

I hired Pratt Plumbing to install my sink, fix my toilet leak, get my washing machine hooked up, my dishwasher hooked up and fixed a drain leak for my washing machine. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, upfront on pricing and are just honest plumbers from the time I had them show up to get to work. I recommend Mark as he is highly professional and answers all your plumbing questions and is up front on pricing. The plumber helper, Steven did a great job answering my questions and checking out my toilet, sink and washer drain. Scheduling was easy and communicating with Andrea was a huge help. She was very friendly over the phone. I will definitely use Pratt plumbing again and recommend them to others looking for an honest plumbing company.

A tech with Pratt Plumbing visited my house on 2/4 due to backed up plumbing causing my toilets not to flush well. It was quickly discovered I have no sewer clean outs, so the tech suggested snaking the line through the toilet. As a first time homebuyer, I questioned whether or not this solution would resolve the problem for both toilets, and the technician told me it would. He quoted just over $400, and I agreed with the understanding my toilets would flush properly when he was done. The tech attempted to snake the line by removing one of the toilets and feeding his equipment through the line. I was promptly notified he was not able to complete the job because his equipment kept migrating to the other line leading up into my master bathroom toilet. The tech advised he did not want to break my toilet and said all he would charge me was for removing and resetting the toilet he had moved to insert his equipment. I asked him what option I had since he was unable to snake the line through the toilet and there are no cleanouts. I had to probe for this information from him, as he did not immediately offer me any other solutions. That is when he told me he could go in through the roof vent, but he said he was unable to do it today because he previously hurt his arm and couldn’t lift the equipment up on the roof. He quoted me $268. He also said he could install cleanouts and quoted me an amount of around $1,200. I asked him if the price to install cleanouts included costs for pulling permits. The tech proceeded to check his phone and told me he had forgotten about permits. The new quote he gave me was $1,004 and some change. I was confused as to why the quote was lower with permits, so I asked him again, and that is when he showed me his phone and it had the number $1,410 and some change. I told him I would need to talk to my husband before deciding on next steps, and he put the toilet back in its original spot. He then told me it was going to be $223 for the service visit simply to remove and reinstall the toilet, and he implied he was doing me a favor by omitting the cost for attempting to snake the line. I was upset, because to me, $223 to remove and reset the toilet is a ridiculous price to charge when my husband could have done that for free, and our toilet still won’t flush properly. I was also upset because he didn’t tell me he could go through the roof vent for 1/2 the price of going through the toilet. And now, if I want the work done right, I am expected to pay again to have the job completed when it should have been done the first time.

I selected Pratt plumbing because I read up on reviews and learned about them through work.

I’ve made several calls to their company to provide an opportunity for resolution before leaving a review, and so far we’ve only had communication via voicemail. Both times, I was promised a call back the following day, and so far I’ve yet to hear back.

We were hoping to get a quote on a water heater as well, but based on our experience, we are planning to call around to other companies.

Andrea was good enough to call and let me know who was coming and when, then called me again to let me know when Mark was actually on his way. Mark and his Able Assistant arrived within the time frame Andrea had given me early this morning. They were prompt, courteous, diagnosed the problem very quickly, told me up front what cost I could expect, and fixed it without any undue delay. Mark even gave a discount for paying the bill as soon as they got done. Can't ask for anything more than that! I have ALWAYS been pleased with EVERYTHING Pratt Plumbing has done for me and have recommended them to others several times.

Mark is a great plumber and very personable. He's been at my house a number of times and fixed several different problems. I'm always glad to see Pratt pull up. The plumbing is always fixed and done professionally and fast. Don't hesitate calling Pratt, you'll be pleased.

Michael, Mark, Steve, and German were all here on different days to make repairs to our clean out to the main sewer. They were friendly, hard working, and good at explaining what was needed for it to be done. I appreciated their determination to make everything right. Michael, also, kindly gave me tips on how to maintain the water softener. They cleaned up in good order too. If we need plumbing in the future, we will call them again.

Today, June 14th, Mark came to repair a leaking shut off valve in the bathroom. He addressed the problem, changed out both cold and hot water valves in a matter of minutes. He was friendly and informative. I love how he had on protective covers over his shoes so things stayed clean. So respectful and considerate. I again, recommend Pratt Plumbing for your needs. Big or small, they do the job.

Our hot water heater went out and we called Pratt Plumbing and they were able to get a new tank installed right away. Andrea thank you for getting this scheduled so quickly for us! Mark and Stephen did a wonderful job! They had great teamwork and removed the old tank and installed the new without any issues and in a short amount of time. Thank you for taking care of us!

We have used Pratt Plumbing for many, many years & have always been pleased - no complaints.
Today was no exception.
We had a yard line valve installed several years ago & noticed wet ground around it. Michael Webb was our plumber today & he did discover that the valve was leaking. He took care of everything in a very pleasant, professional & efficient manner. He also discovered that the water meter was stuck & promptly called the City to come out & replace it. German came out and replaced 2 shower cartridges. We called the same day and they were able to send him to our home with in the hour we called and he left with in an hour. He did an excellent job well done!!! German was respectable of my home and family. I know if I ever need plumbing work in the future, I'm calling Pratt Plumbing and asking for German!

Mark was amazing! He was professional, super nice, efficient, communicated well, and was upfront throughout the entire process. The day before Mark came we had another plumber come out, and they weren’t able to fix our issue. Mark showed up on time (actually early) and was able to get it taken care of in no time at all! Michael and Pratt Plumbing have been a pleasure to work with. We had a big gas leak at the side of our house. I contacted them at 11am on Friday and they were here by 1pm. They had it fixed and my gas was restored by 4pm. This was a huge relief. There was much follow up with the city permit and each time Pratt was proactive and responsive to complete this job fully. They have been friendly and helpful. What could have been a huge stress point was fixed quickly and completely. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Pratt was quick to respond and was able to come and fix our issue. The tech that came took care to use shoe covers to not track dirt into our house. He listened to the issues we were experiencing. Discussed our options going forward and was clear about the price options as well. Once the work was complete he reviewed the process he used and what he found. He also gave us some tips on helping to ensure that we would avoid future issues.

German provided great service getting our kitchen sink unclogged. He gave tips to keep the lines clear and was very friendly. We’ve used Pratt Plumbing for years and will continue to do so when the need arises.

German came to our house for our soft-water unit not working correctly. He worked on it and tested it and then went as far to educate us on what we needed help to do for the upkeep. He wants us to call them back on Monday if it is still not softening water, as it is possibly the unit, which is still under warranty, may need to be replaced. He is the best. Would recommend Pratt to anyone who needs plumbing assistance.

Pratt Plumbing sent German out to repair a list of problems we had put off fixing, sink faucet, stoppers, commode reset and replaced all the (plastic) shut off valves with brass ones. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, clean and thorough. It is a pleasure to meet someone who cares about the job they do for customers. We will certainly call on German & Pratt Plumbing again!

After old water heater tank leaked, Pratt Plumbing installed a new one within one day of my calling them. Same and Deric did a great job. That's why I've used them for many years for all my plumbing needs.
