Tricounty replaced a coil for my 5-ton central AC unit, and it was a disaster.

For starters, they were supposed to arrive in the afternoon but showed up about 8:30am with no advance notice, which they were also supposed to provide.

Company had a coil that matched specs for system, but it was 3" larger than the existing coil. Per the owner, they knew this in advance, but rather than order the right unit, they installed anyway. When they arrived to install the coil they could not get it through the attic door. In the process of forcing it into the attic they broke the attic door.

A few hours into the work, a third guy arrived to help the first two. He was more experienced, and told me he was dispatched because the initial 2-man crew got in over their head.

Fast forward a couple hours, I walked downstairs and found fiberglass insulation all over the floor, countertops, tabletops, carpet. It was also in the ducts. I quickly turned the AC off to prevent further blowing around of the hazardous fibers.

Company promptly dispatched a cleanup crew to vacuum out the ducts with a special HEPA duct cleaning device to trap the fibers. This was the only thing they did right all day. Per owner, they knew they had a potential health hazard on their hands (breathing the floating fibers) so acted quickly. Five hours after they left I was still finding fiberglass clumps stuck in the ceiling ducts.

They were supposed to clean the floors, countertops, tabletops etc but did not. They left sharp-edged pieces of sheet metal around the attic door and did not vacuum clean up clumps of insulation in the area they were working.

Needless to say, this is the worst HVAC experience I've had in 30 years of home ownership.

Fast and reasonable first time using was referred and right choice at right time had me up and running in record time..had system checked twice by same company less than three days back to back..This company replaced the units fan motor and oh how cold and happy family we are.. Trustworthy not trying to have you spending without telling you the real issues..

First time using Adon and the experience was great. Received appointment reminder notifications, as well as texts letting us know that the technician was on his way. He was courteous, friendly, and did a thorough job. After examining in the attic and outside he presented us with the assessment, including pictures of the equipment showing us any issues and recommendations. We never felt pressured and the recommendations matched the research we had done on our own (for dirty sock syndrome). We never felt pressured. After deciding we would move forward with a couple items the company delivered some of the parts to him immediately and he was able to install them that day. For the parts they had to order, they got them in quickly and we got an appointment booked the same week. I highly recommend them!

Shelby came to fix our AC unit today and we were so pleased with the result. He took the time to explain all of our options to us - one of which allows us to do preventative stuff at home to help prevent this from happening again. Major green flag from a business these days. Thanks Shelby!

Shelby at Adon was quick and efficient. He identified the issue with my AC within minutes of being at my house and inspected it for any other issues that might arise without being pushy. My AC had been misdiagnosed and sabotage by another big company with very poor customer care and poorly trained technicians. I spent 12 hours in the sweltering heat in my home because the competitor tech left my AC turned off.

The Adon techs were thorough, courteous, professional and got my AC working while educating me and keeping my apprised at every step!

I'm so happy with the service that I cancelled my family plan with the other company and signed up with Adon for future HVAC care for my home! I'm beyond pleased and I'm cooler now too! 😎
