I would just like to drop a note to share that had an excellent experience with Charles from Aquamaid who came out to perform a repair on a leaking pool pipe, as well as replace a check valve. He was exemplary in his professionalism, thoroughness, and follow up to ensure that the work was performed as expected, and no further leaks were present. I would recommend Charles to anyone who is in need of any repair work for their pool plumbing or equipment as he truly cares about the quality of his work and takes pride of ownership when it comes to the overall customer experience, and exceeding expectations.

Hired them to do a full pool drain and clean. Within 4 days of first contacting them, the entire job was done. Incredibly pleased with the professionalism and efficiency of their workers. Will be my go-to pool service company moving forward.

Always a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. After Thanksgiving, we had a massive amount of debris on the bottom of the pool and when our Tech Grant arrived, I gave him a heads up and he did an outstanding job of cleaning it up. He's always been a pleasure to interact with and we're very happy with his service along with everyone else at Aquamaid.

Update:

After posting the 1 star review, I finally got the attention of the service manager. He and I were able to come to an equitable resolution. While he had only take over a few months prior to the review - he wasn't responsible for the 1st 9 mo - he still brushed aside my concerns until I left the review. That's why I'm knocking a star off. I do think he's trying to do better and clean up things tho.

Last year they did our pool resurfacing. The layer was so thin, it didn't last a full season. Called them at the beginning of the year to see what could be done. 4 calls with promises to have someone to reach out to me and nothing.

On the 5th call I got a little more agitated and finally got a call back from a manager and he promised he would take a look. They came out when I wasn't at home and then never reached back out to me. Two more calls and still nothing after months of waiting.

Do NOT use them for repairs. They have zero use for you once they have your money. I spent thousands on a crap job and gave them every opportunity to make it right. They simply ghosted me.

Jarrod was extremely knowledgeable and shared that knowledge in a way that I could understand and therefore be a better pool owner! It’ll save me money for sure!
He solved my problem that the other pool service somehow missed, so I am forever grateful.

I called Aquamaid to see what it would cost to get my pool back in shape, get rid of the algae, and balance the chemicals so I could then take care of the pool myself from then on. I wasn’t sure if they would do that, because most pool services want either a contract or at least a weekly service. Well I was pleasantly surprised that they were very eager to help me out. They gave me the impression that a large part of their service is to help people with their pools by educating them and giving helpful tips. They explained in detail what they would do to clean up my pool and what each step would cost.
I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything. I’ve used them before as you can see above. I highly recommend Aquamaid for their knowledge, dependability, and genuine interest in helping their customers.

Charlie did a thorough review of electrical and mechanical systems and provide provided excellent detail, including photographs

Tech was on time and diagnosed my pump problem. He did a through job and explained my pumps problems, fixed them and the pool is running really sweet. As usual great job by Aquamaid because of your associates from the front office to the techs. Oh and I can't leave out my favorite, Chet who does out weekly service, we just love Chet.

I purchased a pool light for my inground pool and my electrician said he could wire it in for me. The pool was drained to make it easier. Upon his arrival he could not get the old wire to pull through the conduit. He said I needed someone with experience to get it unstuck. So I probably spent 90 minutes or more calling around to try and find a pool company to help me out. I got denial after denial because they won't install equipment bought by a customer. All I needed was the wire unstuck but almost every company said no. Aquamaid was a breath of fresh air! Very friendly and understood my problem and got it done quickly for me. 5 stars all around for them.

Terminating my pool service with Aquamaid. Was a customer for many years and its not till former owned pool company was acquired by Aquamaid did service level decline. Main reason for my dissatisfied occured when calling customer service to report the pool tech left my pool skimmers full of leaves. And wanted to have tech come back out to complete cleaning service. Response was to send pictures first (proof) with still no offer to complete the job.
Normally after cleaning service, tech sends an email with pictures of the before and after of the pool but interesting enough there are no pictures of the skimmer. Also indicates on the report that skimmers were 'cleaned' out. Which they were not, but sounds like it's my responsibility to provide proof. Beware do not rely on the report and make sure your skimmers are actually cleaned.
I hope management takes this feedback constructively and works towards fostering a more customer focus resolution process.

Technician is fast to notify problems with pool and equipment, these services must be approved and scheduled for a future visit by different technician. I generally give them a not to exceed a dollar amount approved, rather than wait for technician final diagnosis and repair cost. I feel I am behind the 8-ball, the pool is very important to me, but the pool is 15 years old and it is expected to have issues. Aquamaid Pool Service has been the better pool servicer I have employed, and I am grateful for their service.

Daniel came out to service our pool and completed the service in no time. While doing the service he noticed a broken part on the pump. He asked me if I wanted him to make the repair while he was there since he had a replacement part on his truck. Needless to say, Daniel’s attention to detail caught the problem before it became a bigger issue.

We built our pool 8 years ago and have tried a number of pool companies for various issues. Aquamaid and Charlie have been the most responsive and helpful of any pool company we used. So glad to have found them!

Idk how good the service is, but i for sure know how awful the drivers are. Had one try to run me off the road and flip me off. Swerving in an out of traffic. Ridiculous. Should fire the guy driving that truck.
