The folks at Sink or Swim were all top notch. The communication was frequent and excellent. The guys that came out to find the mysterious leak and then fix the leak were very thorough, determined, and knew what they were doing. They were fast, efficient, and very meticulous. I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but I don’t want someone to unnecessarily endure this service if you don’t have to. Upon assuming care of my pool, it immediately began to have issues with algae etc, which is totally forgivable. However, come to find out, they charged for services that were never rendered, while concurrently failing to resolve my pool issues. My pool had been having algae issues for several weeks and the didn’t note it or treat it until I broached the subject. There were several other missteps as well. For the price, please seek out other companies.

Wonderful service! I was so impressed by Joe’s fast diagnosis of my pool pump’s issue and he was so kind and knowledgeable in walking me through what went wrong and how to fix it. He even took the extra time to show me (a very new pool owner) how my valves work and answered all my questions. He was able to get the new part and fix it within a couple of days. I will definitely be calling y’all again for any future issues! Thank you, thank you!

Requested a quote to have some work done.It took two weeks for anybody to come out. And when they did, they sent a guy that was on his first week on the job. he said the normal guy that does this type of work was leaving at the end of the week. Said he’d have to check back at his office find out if they could do the work. Never heard from him again. So six months later I pay $150 for a service call. No work performed. They said they sent an estimate and I found it in my spam. Today. Can’t really tell you what kind of work they do as none was performed.A phone call from the guy would’ve been all it took, and I would’ve happily had them do the work. You be the judge .

The pool service company we used for over 13 years unfortunately sold out to Aquamaid.
Within weeks of them servicing my pool I developed a scum line going all around my pool and noticed they weren’t moving my pool loungers to brush under them causing algae. Worst service ever!

Excellent experience from the first call to completion of the repair. Prompt, courteous and professional. We will absolutely use Aquamaid again.

For the first go with Aquamaid, we were pleasantly impressed. A lot of great detail went into the cleaning and a detailed email following service. We had Aquamaid merge with our previous pool servicing so again, a great start for continued service on our pool.

Chet does a great job with the weekly cleaning. When he’s on the job there have been no maintenance issues.

I would just like to drop a note to share that had an excellent experience with Charles from Aquamaid who came out to perform a repair on a leaking pool pipe, as well as replace a check valve. He was exemplary in his professionalism, thoroughness, and follow up to ensure that the work was performed as expected, and no further leaks were present. Hired them to do a full pool drain and clean. Within 4 days of first contacting them, the entire job was done. Incredibly pleased with the professionalism and efficiency of their workers. Will be my go-to pool service company moving forward.

Always a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. After Thanksgiving, we had a massive amount of debris on the bottom of the pool and when our Tech Grant arrived, I gave him a heads up and he did an outstanding job of cleaning it up. He's always been a pleasure to interact with and we're very happy with his service along with everyone else at Aquamaid.

Update:

After posting the 1 star review, I finally got the attention of the service manager. He and I were able to come to an equitable resolution. While he had only take over a few months prior to the review - he wasn't responsible for the 1st 9 mo - he still brushed aside my concerns until I left the review. That's why I'm knocking a star off. I do think he's trying to do better and clean up things tho.

Last year they did our pool resurfacing. The layer was so thin, it didn't last a full season. Called them at the beginning of the year to see what could be done. 4 calls with promises to have someone to reach out to me and nothing.

On the 5th call I got a little more agitated and finally got a call back from a manager and he promised he would take a look. They came out when I wasn't at home and then never reached back out to me. Two more calls and still nothing after months of waiting.

Do NOT use them for repairs. They have zero use for you once they have your money. I spent thousands on a crap job and gave them every opportunity to make it right. They simply ghosted me.

Jarrod was extremely knowledgeable and shared that knowledge in a way that I could understand and therefore be a better pool owner! It’ll save me money for sure!
He solved my problem that the other pool service somehow missed, so I am forever grateful.

I called Aquamaid to see what it would cost to get my pool back in shape, get rid of the algae, and balance the chemicals so I could then take care of the pool myself from then on. I wasn’t sure if they would do that, because most pool services want either a contract or at least a weekly service. Well I was pleasantly surprised that they were very eager to help me out. They gave me the impression that a large part of their service is to help people with their pools by educating them and giving helpful tips. They explained in detail what they would do to clean up my pool and what each step would cost.
I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything. I’ve used them before as you can see above. I highly recommend Aquamaid for their knowledge, dependability, and genuine interest in helping their customers.

Charlie did a thorough review of electrical and mechanical systems and provide provided excellent detail, including photographs

Tech was on time and diagnosed my pump problem. He did a through job and explained my pumps problems, fixed them and the pool is running really sweet. As usual great job by Aquamaid because of your associates from the front office to the techs. Oh and I can't leave out my favorite, Chet who does out weekly service, we just love Chet.

I purchased a pool light for my inground pool and my electrician said he could wire it in for me. The pool was drained to make it easier. Upon his arrival he could not get the old wire to pull through the conduit. He said I needed someone with experience to get it unstuck. So I probably spent 90 minutes or more calling around to try and find a pool company to help me out. I got denial after denial because they won't install equipment bought by a customer. All I needed was the wire unstuck but almost every company said no. Aquamaid was a breath of fresh air! Very friendly and understood my problem and got it done quickly for me. 5 stars all around for them.
