Wonderful service by Georgiana and Elvira. This was the first clean and was a deep clean. They were fantastic. Very friendly and organized. They split up and tackled the hardest stuff first and even prepped the stove for cleaning. Using their own cleaning supplies, they managed to get the house done in the time allotted. The result was a spotless house, with trouble areas no longer a bother. Not only would I recommend them again, we hired them on a continued basis.

The ladies that clean my house are always friendly and smiling.
Maids around Town offer a great service and a fair price and are easy to be around.
They are also able to accommodate my schedule.

Thank you and I will continue to sue this service. In fact, My mother is going to start using them as well.

While we have had a mixed experience with Maids Around Town, one thing remains consistent --- they really make an effort to retain their loyal customers. Having used their service for over 2 years now, we have experienced everything from the less experienced maids to the ones that are excellent at their work. In all, we have experienced the work of around or more than 10 different maids from Maids Around Town by now and are hereby providing our most honest feedback.

PROS:
1. Timely. The most excellent maids we have worked with were arrived on time and finished their work within the scheduled time slot.
2. Detail-oriented. The best ones from Maids Around Town will go the extra mile to get to the ceiling lights, even if they are recessed, leave no spider webs behind, and take every part of their job seriously.
3. Positive attitudes. The best maids we have had wonderful attitudes, a positive persona, and focus on getting the work done. They do not waste time chatting or taking smoke/phone breaks.
4. Price competitive. Maids Around Town really tries to give you the best price in the market. This leaves room for us to tip generously when we get the good ones.
5. Customization. Maids Around Town will do their best to meet your specific needs at the right price, such as doing the linens or dishes, or detailed cleaning.
6. Responsive. Whenever we submitted an issue through text messaging, Maids Around Town will respond within 24 hours or right away, and try to resolve the issue ASAP.
7. Responsible. Maids Around Town will compensate you if things go wrong, such as last minute rescheduling or if an item is damaged. Sometimes they offer partial discounts or free cleanings depending on the situation.
8. Reliable. While we have had other issues with certain maids, not once have we had an item stolen from our household. We hope Maids Around Town can keep up the reliable vetting of their maids' backgrounds and qualifications.

CONS:
1. Cancellations & Rescheduling. We were most frustrated with last minute cancellations and rescheduling, as we only require cleaning once every two weeks and have requested for the same maid to come in consistently at the same time on the same day every two weeks. How hard can this be? Yet, some maids will just cancel on you last minute, giving no consideration to your schedule.
2. Inconsistency. While many of Maids Around Town cleaners are professional and wonderful in every way, there are also many bad eggs in the basket that can really ruin the great experience you had with a better maid.
3. Tardiness. Some maids do not respect your time and come in late or finish late. We are talking about 1-2 hours late here, not 5-15 minutes. When we experience such behavior, we simply request for a new maid to come in. It might take a few tries before we are matched with one whom we like.
4. Unhygienic. We have witnessed some maids using the same towels to clean toilet seats as they do kitchen counters. Thankfully, this issue was resolved when we provided feedback. All of our requests are logged in our profile with Maids Around Town so the likelihood of us being matched with a poor performer decreases with time.
5. Carelessness. Some maids forget to tuck the fitted sheets under the mattress, or simply put new sheets over old sheets without removing old sheets, causing us to have to redo them ourselves. One maid broke a much treasured memorabilia, but we were compensated for it.

While there were some unpleasant experiences in between, we believe that part of it can be attributed to the nature of the business and can empathize with the difficulty of managing a large client and employee base. However, we do hope that Maids Around Town continues to take customer feedback into consideration and improve their scheduling and cleaning services over time.

Over the years, we have come to realize that Maids Around Town does try its very best to provide a high quality experience for its customers at reasonable prices overall. As such, we will recommend their business to prospective customers.

Maids Around Town has been to my house twice now and each time I've loved the results. They are very thorough and make my life easier. You wouldn't believe how clean they got my nasty oven and my shower with blue hair dye in it. They're the real deal. I recommend them to all my friends. They're also really affordable, which I adore. Maids Around Town, you rock.

Lexi did an amazing job! This is the second time they cleaned my house and I anticipate keeping them around. They are the best price and very detailed. There is always a check list and follow up text messages. They are also very accommodating in schedule. They understand when life changes. Maids Around Town thank you for your work!!!

I've been using Maids Around Town for 9 months. In the beginning they would change my cleaner every week and sometimes even cancel at the last minute. But in the last couple of months I've had Marisa coming regularly. She does a good job in general and is willing to do any extras I ask for. And she is a very nice person. I'm quite satisfied. I recommend their service.

Dany, my maid was amazing. Very professional and personable. My home is spotless! And that's no exaggeration. She did an amazing job and I'll be requesting her for future services. The other thing I appreciated was she arrived a little before the appointment. Timeliness means a lot to me and that made a good first impression with me. I will be using this company again.

Came home to super clean and organized house a couple of days ago and I thought I'd leave a note about Maids Around Town here.

I have used Maids Around Town for monthly cleaning for our home for several months now and I will continue to do so! Some things I like about their service:
- Punctuality and reliability - their cleaner arrives on time every single time at our doorstep with all her equipment ready to clean
- Convenience - having a pre-scheduled monthly cleaning appointment, fuss free billing and a very responsive customer service. The automated reminders are great too!
- Friendly service - all cleaners we met were all very nice and knew exactly how to interact with my dog which is always a plus for us.
- Attentive to feedback - they take constructive criticisms very well and always remember to follow requests for future cleaning schedules.
- Price point - we have a 1800 sq ft house and I usually pay $80+ to which we add a 20% tip. This varies from house to house of course
- And some little things here and there like the scent free natural cleaning products and the clean rugs and new vacuum cleaners they provide the cleaners are all very much appreciated!

After using services provided by Maids Around Town for the last several months, I am now comfortable admitting that this was a terrible mistake. Of my 12 scheduled visits, 5 of which were rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, leaving my house unsecured by needing to leave a key. On several occasions that rescheduling resulting in yet another cancellation. In one instance, a single appointment was rescheduled 3 times and was only confirmed after speaking with regional management.

Clearly the service provided was unreliable, and when they did show up, the quality was average at best. When requesting a regular cleaning professional, that request seemingly goes unanswered, as only half of the visits were performed by our preferred cleaner (who changed 3 times over the course of 5 months due to the head spinning turnover rate).

When issues occur, customer service and management response is extremely spotty and often times I had to initiate contact several times before being responded to. It's clear that not only the cleaners are ill prepared, but office staff is as well.

We had two occasions where our belongings were damaged, both of which were responded to by offering a discounted next cleaning, as were 2 of the scheduling mishaps. To be honest the only reason we stuck with Maids Around Town for as long as we did was to make use of the discounted rates for the issues we experienced. In hind sight, that was clearly the wrong choice.

Now after 5 months of wasted energy and money, I have ended my recurring business and am taking my money elsewhere, where I'm sure to receive a more positive experience. I say this with confidence, as I'm not sure it gets much worse than these folks.

Very professional! When I first used them, the person did a less than satisfactory job, but the minute I called they took it seriously and sent an area manager out and redid the cleaning AND on top of that refunded my payment as well! They really do go the extra mile to ensure that I am happy every time. Since then I have found Catherine with Maids around Town and have requested her ever since. She is an especially awesome, super detail oriented, reliable professional! So, so happy that I found Maids Around Town! Would highly recommend!!!

I’ve been with Austin Pool Times now for close to a year. A bit rocky at first because of construction around the pool… which was very delayed.
But since that was finished, service has been reliable each week. Now a new tech, Brody came by. He introduced himself, asked if there were some specific ways to deal with my yard etc. Now looking forward to continuing great service.

Jacob Griffis has only been our pool tech for a few months but he has been an enormous help for someone like me who knew very little about how pools work. He has been a very good and patient teacher, always willing to help and take good care of our pool. Thanks, Jacob!

Austin Pool Times always takes care of our pool. We recently had to drain our pool as the CYA level got too high and would not hold chlorine. Had it acid washed before filling back up. The pool is now holding chlorine and looking immaculate! Max the owner and Wesley his incredibly experienced and professional technician did an outstanding job! I highly recommend Austin Pool Times.

Living at the Aura apartments, the pool has remained one of my favorite places to be all summer. Daniel has stepped in and improved the experience with maintaining the pool and keeping it clean. With all the dirt flying around Daniel has managed to keep it practically spotless and very well kept; he is also a great person to speak with and is incredibly kind. I highly recommend Austin Pool Times too anyone in the Austin area looking for pool services!!

We've been working with Daniel from Austin Pool Times for close to a year now and he is incredibly knowledgable about pools. We have a saltwater pool and Daniel came in and was able to explain the entire system to us from the start, even though he hadn't seen our pool before. He's also discovered some idiosyncrasies for us from the original installation, which has been very helpful. He's fantastic at his job and our pool looks clean all the time He's also very patient and helpful explaining how the filters, chemicals, and overall system work as I ask questions and learn about our pool. This company takes great care to solve any problems or questions about your pool. I was particularly impressed by BRODY who went above and beyond to make sure I understood how the pool works and went out of his way to answer some random questions I had about the heating system…frogs…you name it! I did not like getting into the pool at Grove because of the dirt at the bottom and the water didn’t look clean, so I would take my kids elsewhere. Ever since Daniel has been cleaning it and taking his time to make sure it’s brushed AND vacuumed, I’ve noticed a big difference. The pool looks almost new and I love bringing my kids here now! I appreciate that he lets us know when he’s adding chemicals for the sake of the children safety. Austin Pool Times is an amazing company, and I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for an amazing pool service with great employees.
