Dave and his crew executed flawlessly against the scope of work agreed upon, and delivered in a manner and time-frame as promised. I'll certainly reach-out to Davey Tree when it's time again for another round of tree-trimming.

If you are looking for someone to help or provide a quotation from the Burr Ridge, Illinois location - you best begin looking for another company. No response received in two attempts. Obviously they do not need the work so go elsewhere.

I needed some dead limbs removed, trimmed and sealed and the job was done perfectly. This type of work is why I stay with Davey Tree Experts.

Davey Tree Service sprayed chemicals on our neighbors trees on 8-14-17. Their employee used our driveway and property without our permission and consequently dumped large amounts of chemicals on our property which resulted in leaving a thick coat of residue all over our mailbox; which had been cleaned and resealed only three weeks ago. Their employee refused to even attempt to remove , or even wash off, any chemicals to clean up their mess; which resulted in additional expense to us. A complaint will be made to the Better Business Bureau to warn consumers about Davey's business practices.

Had a rather large branch fall on the house. Called a couple of places and Davey was very responsive and said they would try to be out today but were backed up. They for sure could get out next day. Set it up and imagine my surprise when I got home and it was gone and area cleaned up. Exceeded expectations. Will use again for sure.

Screw these guys! The worst!. A couple months ago some chubby guy rings the doorbell and tells me he’s been in our back yard flagging trees to cut down. The stupid city of Austin hired these idiots TO CUT DOWN SHADE TREES IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER so they don’t grow up to the power lines in 7 years! So Davey Tree came in a cut down 100s of trees in our neighborhood so we have no shade and everyone’s grass is dead now from lack of shade this summer. I told them not to take out all of our shade trees on the property line JUST TRIM THEM!…. they had 10 mexicans laying in our grass for 3 days and they stripped out ALL of the trees along the fenceline…. like that….. years of privacy and shade are gone. F.U. Davey!

Very competent , reliable and dedicated team from scheduling to execution of tree job. The crew was on time and did a great job despite the high heat conditions. A very solid company !

What I was told would be done and what was done was very different. I was told that some additional work would be done around the home for the cost. I received 15 minutes fo work and paid $500. The work that was done was true to the contract but not to what I was told in person. This was my fault as an attorney I should have known better than to trust someone's word. I am glad I used a minor service of theirs as a test run. I will look elsewhere to get my major tree work done. I would recommend looking at local options.

I signed a contract to have DTEC take down a tree. They needed to get a permit from the city. In the meantime, someone came and fertilized my trees which seemed like a professional job and I paid for that service. However, no one seemed interested in carrying out the major job of taking down my tree. I emailed the sales person a couple of times and got no response. I then spoke to the owner who said it had been more than enough time to hear back from the city and he'd get back to me in a few days. Not sure how many months ago that was. Anyway, I've given up and will try a different vendor.

A huge tree fell from my neighbor's yard onto my fence and a neighbors fence and was laying in my pool and pulling down gutters. Davey's crew came out as soon as the winter storm was over and did a great job removing it and keeping everyone safe. A ton of tree debris was in my pool and they even scooped it out with the net. I am so grateful for them and their hard work today!

I had a young red oak tree in my back yard that appeared to be dying, and set up a free consultation for Davey Tree Experts to come out. Jerry was the ISA Certified Arborist that completed the service. Jerry called me 30 minutes prior to our appointment, showed up on time, and was very courteous and thorough in explaining the issues with the tree. On top of that, he went around my yard and gave me advice for other trees and plants in my yards.

I couldn't have asked for anything more and highly recommedn The Davey Tree Expert Company and Jerry!!! A+++

Will and the folks and Davey tree have been stellar! There were lots of stops and starts and changes to the project (having nothing to do with them) and they rolled with the punches, showed up on time every time and did great work. They installed fences and mulch for tree protection and have done an excellent job throughout!

Can't ask for anything more. They were very responsive and easy to schedule with. My arborist Francisco was super knowledgable and prompt. He was able to write me a comprehensive consultation in a couple days.

The Davey Team was really wonderful. Andres, Brandon and Anthony did a remarkable job in my back yard, all of them were very professional, hardworking, and kind. Superb job! I would give them 10 stars, but Google only gives the 5 star option. The Davey Tree Expert Company is lucky to have them as workers.

Had a great experience with the team coming out to inspect some tress I was worried about. They did a great job explaining what was going on, and reassured me that no action was needed at the time. They also gave me some tips for what to look out down the line with my trees for their long term health but didn't try to push any unnecessary services on me. Will definitely call them again in the future for any concerns.

We were really worried because we have a ton of sick oak trees. Francisco Bello came out for free to take a look at everything and was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and not “sales-y” at all. I learned more in 30 minutes with him than I did reading on the internet for hours. If you want great customer service and to know exactly how to take care of your trees, I would call Davey Trees, and ask for Francisco!

We contracted with Davey Tree to remove broken branches hanging high in our trees following an ice storm and to repair trees where limbs had already broken & fallen. Despite a high price we went with Davey because they promised verbally & in writing to complete the work in March. That did not happen so I called in April & was told it would be June. When pushed about the March promise they agreed to “work us in” in April, which they did.

Given the difficulty of getting them to show up we let them do the work on the April date they gave us even though we had to be out of town. They were supposed to clean up & haul away but they left enough branches in the yard that I had to load & dispose of them using my own pickup. Plus, they left some in the trees because additional dead broken branches continue to fall even now in May. They also damaged the rain sensor from our sprinkler system which appears to have been hit by a falling branch from one of their cuts.

I would not recommend.

We had a great experience with Davey Tree Service. The crew members who came out (Yoni, Milton and JR) were very professional. They were conscience of the surroundings when lowering cut limbs and made sure not to damage property. They worked hard all day trimming our trees, chipping the debris and cleaning up. They were careful to spray cuts on oak trees. We have used them before and have been very satisfied.

This place is AMAZING! Esther, the secretary is very professional and proficient. She was extremely sweet and worked with us to get the help we needed! Highly recommend using this business for all lawn and tree care!
