The trees in our front yard needed a trim. It was a small job, but they treated me like any other customer. I honestly can't stop staring at the front of my house, the trees look awesome.

I first contacted Austin Tree Experts, via the online request form, on June 3rd to request an estimate for the trimming of the trees in my front yard. I was quite impressed as got an almost immediate response. I scheduled an appointment for 4:30 on the 4th; however, I received a call that morning letting me know they needed to reschedule because the 'expert' they were going to send had to pick his kids up from school. I rescheduled for the 10th at 4:30, I had to take one hour of vacation leave from my job as I work downtown and it takes me 40 minutes plus to get home. When no one had arrived by 4:50 I called and was told they would contact the 'expert' to see where he was. I received a call back that the 'expert' had forgotten about the appointment and we would need to reschedule. When I requested an appointment after 5:00, so I would not have to take additional vacation time off, I was told the 'expert' would have to ask his wife if it was okay for him to work past 5:00. I was very upset at having wasted an hour of my vacation time, so I ask for the owner of the company to call me. I was told he would call me the next day, which would have been June 11th and I still haven't heard from him. Not only did I not get my trees trimmed, but I lost an hour of valuable vacation time. The next time my boss tells me I have to work late, I think I'm going to try the line of the 'expert' and tell her I have to ask my husband.

They took forever to even get to our house because they rescheduled three times. When they finally got to us they sent two guys who took their time and spent three and a half hours trimming the dead limbs off of ONE oak tree and still didn't finish. Then they came with the foreman the next time and spent two more hours working on the same tree and when they finally said they were finished with it and left we noticed there were still obvious dead limbs that they missed.

A few years back I hired Austin Tree experts to install 4 trees. I got unhealthy specimens. That wasn't even the worst of it. I requested and was willing to pay for a jackhammer as I live on limestone. I came home to find that not only did they not bring a jackhammer, they sawed off all the root balls to get the trees in. When I spoke with management they were apologetic but they did not offer a refund, nor did they replace the trees that were maimed in installation. Most of the trees died. The one that survived is a bad specimen. Split branches for example that my arborist said should have never been installed. I now have to replace the lone survivor as it is in poor health despite attentive care. Several thousand dollars wasted. Beware.

Austin Tree Experts took down two trees in our backyard that were dead. The process was quick, clean and efficient. We would definitely use their services again. They are great!

Austin Tree Experts responded promptly to my call and gave us a fair bid for the work, which involved removal of a large hackberry and trimming several huge live oaks. Their workers were friendly, professional, skilled, hard working, and conscientious. They sprayed the cuts on the live oaks immediately after each individual cut, showing an extra level of care. Other tree companies we have used in the past made all the cuts first and then sprayed, sometimes missing several cuts. We are very happy with the job they did and our trees look great!

Absolutely thrilled with the guys at Austin Tree Experts! After a storm knocked down an old pear tree in our yard, I was worried about how to handle the mess and potential damage to our fence. I called them up, and from the initial consultation to the final cleanup, their team exceeded all my expectations.

The crew arrived early on the scheduled morning and assessed with me the situation going over what would be done. They carefully removed the fallen pear tree, taking great care not to damage my already crappy fence. Their equipment seemed to be top-notch, and their crews efficiency was impressive. What seemed to me like a daunting task was handled swiftly and skillfully. I just wanted to bust out some popcorn and watch.

Also what stood out was their attention to detail. They not only removed the tree but also cleaned up every bit of debris, leaving our yard looking immaculate. The team was courteous, respectful, and kept me informed throughout the process.

Way better than drive-by door knocking chainsaws for hire. Been there done that. Just know that some times those guys end up causing more eyesores and/or damage to your trees in the long run. Don't take the chance, just hire an actual professional. I used the guys at Austin Tree Experts and would happily do it again. Hope this helps someone.

Austin Tree Experts are by far THE best. Their rates were far better than others I received estimates from and their cleanup was impeccable. I had 4 trees taken down and the stumps ground out. I could not be happier with the results.
Tara was very courteous and kept me informed every step of the way, even following up as to my satisfaction after the work had concluded.
I will use them for all my tree needs as well as recommend them to others.
