I recently hired Tree Service & Consulting, LLC to trim three very large cottonwoods and remove two pecan trees from my yard. Matthew came out the same day I requested a quote and spent 45 minutes doing a thorough assessment of the trees and presented several options for the work that fit within my budget. The team arrived two days later and did an excellent job. If you're in need of tree trimming or any arborist services, I highly recommend giving them a call.

Had a great experience at a very reasonable price. Mathew is a total pro. He is a customer centered, hands-on manager. We initially had him at the house just to do some tree trimming for us. Enjoyed working with him so much we then contracted him for a tree planting and then added on a stump grinding of a Crepe Myrtle. He is a very knowledgeable arborist who confirmed our choice of tree to be planted (Red Maple), sourced the tree, and had it in the ground within days. (That's our job on his website gallery for "tree planting"). He has had a lot of experience working for a corporate tree company and has now gone out on his own. There is nothing better for me than working with a locally-owned capable company like his. Highly recommend!

Matthew and his team did a great job removing one of our trees and grinding down the stump. He was very knowledgeable about tree removal. Matthew also trimmed our other trees and injected our smaller oak with a fungicide to make that one more healthy. After the job was finished, they cleaned up the whole site very well. While working on my trees, I think he was approached and then hired by three of my neighbors for work on their trees too! Thanks Matthew!

We were super happy with the tree-trimming job that Matthew Burgess & his crew from Tree Service & Consulting did in our front and back yards. They were professional, timely, comprehensive, and clearly knew their trade. One of the things we were most impressed by was that Matthew, who met with us initially to go over the job, was on-site helping & guiding the crew at the time of the job itself, so that they knew exactly what to do. Matthew and crew helped us with a bunch of trimming, removal of a tree that was being overshadowed by another that was too close, and fresh composting under one of our fruit trees. Great job all around, and fast.

Matt and his team were excellent! Knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced and great customer service. Matt examined each tree's health and made recommendations for each tree. Most were large oak trees that required extensive trimming. Matt took his time to plan each tree's trim to foster the proper growth of the tree. He consulted with me about each trim to make sure to incorporate my concerns The trees look amazing! And there was no cleanup for me. I am very pleased and highly recommend Matt!

Matthew and his crew were wonderfully professional: not only did they care for our trees with knowledge and precision, but they meticulously cleaned up all the debris and even swept away the mounds of acorns that littered our driveway before they arrived🙄. Matthew expertly explained what needed to be done and his crew trimmed and pared so that our trees look healthier now. All this was done within a reasonable charge and with good communication.

Matthew and his team did a great job with my tree removal and trimming. They removed 2 very tall trees that were next to my house and trimmed several others. Infusions were done to 2 other trees to rid them of infestation and attempt to save them. Matthew is very knowledgeable and patient. His team is quick, timely and friendly. I definitely recommend them and will use them in the future! The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is when I needed them to come back communication was sporadic and the timing was off. He was working another job at the time though.

We are repeat customers of Tree Service & Consulting. All of our neighbors now use them too. Matt is friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and priced pretty competitively. We’ve worked with him on everything from tree trimming and tree removal to medicating our live oaks when they were struggling. And we have always been very happy with the results.

Had a great experience with Matthew. He’s very knowledgeable, and happy to share his expertise. He took down a 20 year old tree in a short amount of time, and ground the stump as well. He even offered to come back and help us plant a new understory tree when we are ready. His price was very reasonable. Several houses on our street had work done that same week, and everyone seems happy. I would definitely recommend this company.

Tree Service and Consulting gave us the lowest quote for a significant job (including limb removals for a big old Pecan extending over three properties, extensive trimming of multiple trees and stump grinding). They delivered exceptional service.

You can tell Matt cares about his team and about tree health. He took the time to answer all questions, explain what was going on with our trees, and tell us what to watch for as trees age.

We had a complicated need for our tree but Matthew did a great job and went above and beyond to ensure the health of our tree and to fulfill the service that was required. He is a very knowledgeable arborist. Would highly recommend.

We worked with Matthew on trimming a large healthy live oak in our yard and a less heathy cedar elm on our neighbors property with branches hanging over our yard. The finished product looks awesome. It totally enhanced our home’s curb appeal and helped the trees grow in a healthy, sustainable way. Will plan to use again in the future.

I contacted Tree Service and Consulting and Matthew called and came out that same day. He walked my property with me and told me what was going on with each tree and how and where he would prune them. We set up a day and time to have the work done. On that day his crew arrived on time and got to work. Matthew came by to check on the job several times that day to ensure everything was going as planned. I had 4 very tall trees pruned and I was worried about how high they had to go, but they got up there and did an excellent job! I had an RV under two of the very tall trees and they used caution to ensure none of the limbs or branches hit the RV. When the job was done, they did a thorough job getting everything picked up, cleaned and hauled off. I now have such a beautiful canopy. I love it!

Matthew at Tree Service & Consulting LLC is fantastic! He was quick, efficient, and incredibly kind. After a storm, he removed the damaged tree in my front yard with ease and speed. I highly recommend them for all your arborist needs in the Austin area!

We've worked with Tree Service & Consulting twice now (once for cutting back large branches over the house, and another time for helping with removing a large branch that was hanging on after storm damage), and both times they have provided excellent service. Quick to respond, quotes are easy to review, service is great (including cleaning up), reasonably priced, and goes above and beyond to take care of additional small things, like cutting back a branch that was near the house that wasn't part of the scope of work.

Matthew was so knowledgeable about our oak trees and gave us a good plan of action to help combat the disease spreading in our neighborhood trees. He was able to start treating our trees the same day and finished our job quickly! We also needed compost around our stressed trees to bring them back to life and he was able to get that arranged for us with ease! Would 10/10 recommend Matthew and his team for your trees needs!

Matthew did a great job protecting our tree while trimming it back to get it from growing into the top floor of our home, which it had started doing. He was efficient and professional with his work. Highly recommend!
