Nicky has been taking care of our many trees since we moved into our house 5 years ago. All of our trees are looking good despite having to weather droughts and storms. I highly recommend Tree Tender to all my friends and family.

As someone who had very bad experience with the "other guys", I am absolutely blown away by Nickey's kindness and his knowledge of trees! He quoted me a very reasonable price and I am more than happy to pay for! He went above and beyond expectations and I couldn't be happier with our interaction! Nickey Bishop is the real deal. He's been taking care of our trees for over 20 years. He's incredibly knowledgeable about trees, very thoughtful, gives excellent advice, and can help you achieve both short-term and long-term goals while considering your budget. Because many of our trees were hackberries, some years ago he recommended that we chain them to each other very high up in the canopy since these trees tend to fall over during heavy rain storms. Around 2001 during an incredibly destructive storm in Austin, several of our 75 foot hackberry trees fell. Because of the chains that Nickey and his team installed, our house was not damaged by the falling trees. He helped us put together a post-storm plan for our trees which we are still operating on today. Call him - he's excellent.

Nick and his team were great. It was a matter of a few days between Nick's quick initial reply and assessment to the actual job being done. The crew was efficient, polite, and on time. Nick walked me through everything they were going to do and they followed through. I'll definitely call them for any future tree needs.

Tree Tender did a great job. They were very thoughtful about what to trim and what to leave. My live oak looks better than it has in years. They also cleaned up my yard leaving it better than it looked when they showed up. I highly recommend this local company.

Nickey knows trees. We called him after some septic trenching damaged roots to our oak trees. We were concerned about their recovery and if the damage was fatal. Nickey helped to calm us down and walk through our options and gave us recommendations to properly backfill the trenches to promote healing and new root growth. We really appreciate Nickey's advice. Crew did a fantastic job trimming my Live Oak and 2 Cedar Elm-‘s also great job on cleaning up after completion...looking forward to having them trim my other tree’s in the near future.

Nickey Bishop the Tree Tender loves trees and has taken great care of ours! He is an authentic and honest person who will talk straight with you. He won't kill a tree though so if you need removal of a live tree, call someone who doesn't love trees so much.

Great experience! Mickey Is a knowledgeable arborist and really loves trees. He is very responsive and spends quality time with you discussing your trees. He coordinates with his crew only the absolutely necessary cuts on your trees. His crew is also experienced and very cordial. Did a great job on my trees and when they left you would not know they had been there. I would definitely use him again.

There's a reason they have remained 5 stars. Nickey has immense amounts of knowledge with incredibly fair pricing. Not to mention, I had a tree fall on my house during some bad weather and he was able to get out that same day I called. I couldn't be more thankful for Nickey & his team.

We were worried about a chocolate mimosa tree that we planted and Nickey was awesome to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to take better care of our mimosa tree and bring it back to life! Alan always has these guys cut his trees!

I asked for very little cutting to be done so I could do it myself in a slow and controlled way. What I got was way more than I wanted done with a huge mess for me to clean since I didnt want them to remove anything. Very disappointed, had the little work been done I wanted done I would not have a big mess now.

Arrived before appointment and set to work right away. I needed my tree pruned as I had never had it cut and they did a great job. Added the big shrub I can never reach up to trim and it was done nicely. Good job at cleaning up any debris and although it was a little more than I expected, it was worth the extra. I would recommend them for quick work and great attitude.

Is there a 10 star or a Rockstar option here!? Seriously, there are no words to describe the hard ass work these guys do! If I’m ever having a bad day at work in the A/C again I’m just going to think of these guys and quit whining. I had an emergency with a Hackberry tree that snapped in half late in the day, and these guys showed up within minutes and saved my house and my neighbors as well!, working until dark. This tree was monstrous, and these guys showed up for me and came back the next day to remove the entire tree. Great estimate too for such hard work involved! John was the crew leader, Ever, David, Rody were the lead Climbers and holy cow these guys are like trapeze artists. Chris the Operations Manager and Dino, Jair, and the whole team that came out did such an amazing job. If you need an arborist…these are your guys! Props to the whole team and thank you so much!
