I had called to ask about cleaning opportunities for our pool tile with respect to the leftover calcium deposits. A team initially came out to provide the standard cleaning service and assessed that there needed to be another visit to further investigate how to remove.

Subsequently, Amir came out and performed a cleaning on a sub-section to illustrate that it could be largely removed with the right cleaner and elbow grease. The service representative came out a few days later and worked for about 30 minutes, disappeared for 2-3 hours and then worked for another 30 minutes and left. I took several pictures that indicated where there was still very visible calcium lines throughout the tiles which weren't addressed. I received an invoice for $300+ in cleaning fees for 1) hours not worked and 2) service not performed as agreed.

I've sent a few e-mails to management highlighting my concerns and asking for resolution but it has been radio silence. Apparently, a simple phone call or e-mail can't be done. I've tried an alternative approach in the interim to dispute the charge with the credit card company in the meantime but please beware of sandbagging with this company and also poor quality (the pictures speak for themselves).

I had a gooey green pool that no amount of chemicals from the pool store OR another pool service seemed to be able to fix. Prime pools came out quickly and started abating the problem on the first day and within less than a week my pool was perfect. They come weekly without fail and it has never looked better my kids commented it was like swimming at a hotel. The photos are before and after

Horrible! They were to come and do pool school the only thing the gentleman wanted to do was sell the weekly pool cleaning service. Then they came out to set up the system he didn't have the equipment with him and he was 20 mins late to begin with so he needed to come back the following day. At that time he couldn't do it so needed to get a technician out to set it up. Which I will say he got the lights on for me. But all the variable pumps were set to the same address meaning they can't be operated individually. When I called to have them come fix the issues they want to charge me another 90-135 for a trip fee to fix their issues! I'd rather pay someone else a little more to know it wad done correctly! And that's just what I did! I definitely wouldn't hire them to clean just over priced and definitely not for the system they don't know it well enough obviously took two of them to do and they still got it wrong.

Save your time and money call someone who knows what they are doing. I did try to speak to the owner before posting but after getting off the phone with him saying employees were more important than customers I figured he lost that chance! Sadly! :(

Got a quote from my previous pool company for a repair that seemed way high, Prime Pool came out and figured out it they could replace a part instead of the entire system! Saved me thousands:) Highly recommended this company. Pool has never looked better after 7 years of using various companies. This one is the best for sure!

I bought a new house, with a salt water pool. Had them come out to assess the pool, which was fine. They told me I needed a drain and rebalance so I scheduled that. The day of the rebalance, the technician didn’t show. Called the office twice and on the second time I asked her to call me back with a time that he’d be there, never heard back.

Finally got the appointment a day later, and the rebalance didn’t even include the salt for the pool. So what am I paying for??

They get a star because the guy I had originally out to look at the pool was very helpful. He seems to be the only one at this company who cares if they get new customers.

The general manager from Prime Pools Steven Jackson, came by my house and was very attentive. He rectified the issue that I previously reported and gave a partial refund.
In June 2025 I had 3 pool service companies assess what turned out to be yellow mustard algae in my pool. I regret selecting Prime Pool Service to address the problem because we contracted for them to chlorine wash the pool after it was drained, and to balance the chemicals and clean the pool filters after the refill was complete. The price quoted for these expectations was $400.
On the day of service, the technician recommended simply adding liquid chlorine and refilling the pool, instead of doing a chlorine wash. The pool at this point had been empty for several days so he simple poured in a few gallons of chlorine into the small pool of water remaining in the pool and left. That new plan sounded fine but was a change to the scope of work that I discussed later with the company.
After the pool was full the technician returned. He was supposed to balance the chemicals and clean the filter (DE Filter). He did not balance the pool chemicals and left a huge mess around the pool pump and inside the pool (see photos). He had cleaned the filters, started the pump, poured DE directly into the return, then noticed that the pump was leaking. Because it was leaking, he stopped the pump and opened it up, adjusted it, then started the pump again. DE was everywhere on the pump, ground around the pump and in the bottom of the pool. He told me that he was done and left. In total, he was at my house about 20 min total during his 2 visits.
I called the company and relayed all this, plus communicated to them that I did not approve of them processing my payment until I received some adjustment for the change in scope and hours of work that I had to do myself to clean up the mess left by the technician. I was told that someone would get back with me. However, they processed my credit card for the payment and it's been over a month with no one calling me back. I'm not sure if legal action is worth the trouble, but I'm contemplating as a matter of principle.

I was very impressed with Prime Pool Service and their quick turn around in making me an appointment to take care of my pool issue. My pool was not priming and taking in a lot of air in the return piping. Kudos to Graham who was the techncian who was sent to assess the problem. He was very professional and knew exactly what the problem was a defective skimmer door that was not opening to allow water to pass. He was very knowledgeable about pool service and gave me some very good tips on operating the pool pump. I will definitly use Prime Pool Service again for they are top notch when it comes to service.

Graham is awesome. He knew exactly what to do and how to fix my pool fountain. My pool pump for the fountain was outdated and decommissioned so Graham needed to replace our entire pump and pipes. He was only here for 1.5-2 hrs and everything was fixed! Thanks Graham!

Extremely happy with the services provided by Prime Pool. Cameron was awesome- super responsive, on time and happy to teach us along the way. Called on Friday, the team was out here by Monday and by Thursday the pool was drained, power washed, fixed lights, cleaned filters and refilled/balanced. Will absolutely recommend you guys and will use you moving forward. Thank you!

Prime Pool Service has been there for us not only on a regular basis, but for emergencies too! Their customer service goes above and beyond. And, in the rare event things have not gone as we've wanted, they take feedback and make things right!

I have been using Prime Pool service for three years and am very pleased with their weekly service. Each week they net the pool, scrub the tile, clear the skimmer and pump baskets, brush the walls, steps, and benches. They also perform a full chemical check and add chemicals if needed. If you need any type of repair they are very responsive and diagnose and repair in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend their services to any pool owner.

Prime Pool Service took over servicing my pool when the owner of the previous company we used (since 1996!) retired. The transition was seamless. The techs show up on time, they're professional and helpful, and our pool looks great!

Prime does a great job with our pool service. We had a bad chlorine lock and they got us on a plan and water has been clear all summer. Service has been great and we don’t have to stress about cleaning or adding chemicals every week or everytime we want to get it.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. They diagnosed my pool issue and told me the part would be ordered, but more than 10 days passed without a single proactive update. Every time I called, I was told “tomorrow,” yet nothing ever changed.

This is the second time they’ve mishandled the repair process, and I had to take time from my own job just to chase basic information that should have been provided by their team. Professional communication and follow-through are clearly lacking.

I ultimately had to ask for my part back because I no longer had confidence that the repair would ever be completed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
