There are better and more responsive pool service companies in Austin.

Guy driving their company truck ran a stop sign and almost hit me. He had nerve to throw his hands up and yell out the window too, not sure this is someone I would want at my residence or my business as an employee.

I’ve been using them for 3 years. Very reliable, I never have to worry about my pool!

I have been a customer of Aquablue for over 5 years, and previous owners of this home were customers for over a decade, and they came highly recommended. If you has asked me to review this company even a few months ago, I would have given them 4-5 stars, but there has been a noticeable and irrefutable decline in the quality of service recently, including damaging an expensive and new variable speed pump which they had installed and now their new guy damaged.

I have weekly service and they have unerringly delivered upon that week after week without fail for all the years I’ve been a customer, until the last few months where they stopped coming at random some weeks. They don’t charge me when they don’t show, and it’s not like I’m out there with a checklist when they do, so I often don’t even know they missed a week until I receive the invoice at the end of the month. The reason I don’t know if they come out or not is because no one calls you, emails you, texts, smoke signals, nothing; and where as they used to leave a note on my porch giving me the all clear to swim, now they leave it in random places throughout the pool area (which is not small).

Then, I walked out today to find my spa nearly devoid of water and the pool levels very high. We went out to check the equipment and saw that the pump was empty! And the dials were in the wrong configuration. We called and despite admitting that they saw our au pair WALK INTO THE HOUSE when they were out here, they claimed in the same breath not to know if someone was home. Is my au pair not a someone then? This was Tuesday, today is Saturday. They then claimed they were going to review the “problem” with us this week and just never got around to it. This problem he was not able to articulate over the phone— 5 days later. Now they are supposedly going to come back on Monday to look at the system again, but who knows what 5 days of running a pump without lubricant did to the equipment— equipment they installed. Equipment they serviced. Equipment they likely broke.

Something is happening at this company and I would urge any new customers to at the very least ask about their employee retention and recent difficulties before signing on.

Aqua Blue Pool Service is top notch. Consistent scheduling, professional staff, and fair pricing. Pool is always sparkling clean. I recommend them to anyone with a pool!

These guys cannot repair anything. I've paid around 20k for repairs last 13 months and the pool or spa always break again and again. Considering legal action.

Absolutely the best pool maintenance AND repair service in Austin area. In the 18 years since I built my pool, I've employed more pool cleaners and repair "experts" than I can remember. Before using Aqua Blue Pools , I rarely had a perfectly cleaned and maintained swimming pool. They have built an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, responsive team. I recommend this company without reservation!

The best Pool Service in Lakeway! Just couldn't be happier. I got my first week free and was really impressed with their knowledge and great work. I like that there is no extra charge for pool chemicals.

We signed up with Prime a few months ago. They have a flat rate monthly plan and my pool has never looked better. We also had some repairs done on a couple of pumps and were really happy with the repairs. Highly recommend for your pool needs!

We had a severe, seemingly unsolvable, issue with our pool but Prime was able to fix it! They worked on the issue initially and thought it was fixed, but we had another company come out to assess the ongoing problem and they ended up messing the pool up even more. After many headaches and back and forth with the second company, we ultimately had Prime out again and they were able to fix the problem. We have used them for a long time for general pool cleaning and they always do a great job with that too! I’m thankful we can finally use our pool!

Cameron came out, looked at the work I needed to be completed and came back 2 days later. Did an excellent job on our pool plumbing. Called before he arrived, the work was done before I knew it and the area was cleaned up like he was never here. Very happy with Prime Pool. Will definitely use their services again when I need it!

Prime Pools did a great job! We had to get a light replaced and they came through timely and thoroughly! Graham gave me a heads up when he was on his way and was in and out within 30min. Great service! Highly recommend.

Graham G responded to my service much faster than I expected. His initial communication was excellent and we agreed on a time window in which the repair work was to be completed. Graham texted me 30 minutes before arriving and proceeded to conduct a difficult light replacement with speed and professionalism.

I was told while signing up I’d get an email after weekly service with summary of treatment and that an online portal would be available to retrieve information. I received an email the first week and nothing since. There is no information on the portal at least going back to March 11th when companies switched. We’ve had service with Prime Pools (Pool Troopers) since January. I’ve not been able to reach someone for immediate service or answers to questions, had to leave my name and number and wait for a call back “within a reasonable time.” I am still waiting.

Thank You Prime Pool for outstanding service. Cameron was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in taking care of our pump repair. He was on time and kept us aware of what was needed. We will definitely refer Prime Pool Services to others!

Switched over to Prime Pool Service this year and have been very happy with their service. They also did some initial maintenance work on some pool pump issues, which was done in a timely manner and cost effective. Our pool is always sparkly clean and the technician shows up on the same day every week which is helpful in planning get togethers. Looking forward to having their help in maintaining our pool this summer!
