You cannot go wrong with Balcones! They went above and beyond by miles for me after a strong hail storm damaged my home, the first night I was staying in it after purchasing. The 1 month old roof they had just put on was destroyed.
They helped me navigate through a very bad experience with my insurance company, running through scenarios with me, and really taking the time to truly help me. All of the even though they were very busy after another hailstorm hit central and south Austin area not long after.
The quality and cleanliness of their work is unmatched, and the overall customer experience is worry-free!

Roofing is one of those expensive and important parts of your house. You don't want to get it wrong.

I sold my house and part of the deal was to replace the roof that had hail damage from last year's storms. I was referred to Balcones by my realtor.

I did not have a lot of time to go through the normal due diligence process so I went with Balcones. I do not regret my decision one bit.

Everything about this company and the experience was top notch.

Karl, the owner is straightforward, honest, and knows what he is talking about. The estimate was thorough, fair, and lined up with the insurance adjustor's estimate.

The roofers showed up when they said they would and had the entire job finished in 2 days.

They cleaned up the site completely. I have not found a single nail lying around.

Karl and company took what would normally be a very stressful project for a homeowner and made it easy and care free.

I don't know any other roofing companies so I can't say anything about them but I can say that Balcones is a great company and was a pleasure working with.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Karl and Kyle of Balcones Roofing & Remodeling on a particular rental property that had a very old roof and needed replacement. I wanted to upgrade to a more durable material + adding a gutter w/gutter guard system. I had never done business with Balcones prior to now. After Kyle came out for an inspection, Karl provided me with several roofing options along with explanation of the pros and cons of each. Karl even thought to inquire if I had any other rental properties in the area and offered to inspect the roof on those properties as well, which I'm forever grateful for because as it turned out, those properties had some minor issues that required attention and were still under warranty. I would not have known about these issues had it not been for Karl and Kyle. They did a fantasic job on the roof replacement and gutters. If I had another roofing issue, I would not hesitate to consider Balcones again. Karl and Kyle were knowledgeable, professional and they communicated very well and in a timely manner. In short, they were very easy to deal with.

Karl and the team at Balcones Roofing & Remodeling were awesome. They were on time, took care to protect our home a yard throughout the roofing process, and cleaned up afterwards. Most importantly, we are thrilled with the results.

It’s hard to know who to call and who to trust with certain things. And getting an honest roof repair or replacement estimate is no exception. Integrity is the most important thing to me when it comes to selecting a contractor. The team at Balcones is outstanding. Incredible communication and the highest quality work. We needed a new roof, following hail damage from last fall. In the past, I have used just asphalt shingles. But sometimes, you get what you pay for.

Balcones roofing and remodeling exceeded all of our expectations. Kyle gave me information on metal roofs and fwave roofing as well. I researched information, and decided that upgrading the roof would likely result in much better protection from future storms.

Kyle worked with us throughout the entire process, often times daily, to answer questions and to keep us updated. Karl assisted us from the office, quickly and whenever needed. Kevin was on-site for the job, taking care of all the planning and coordination in job completion.

This was a major job, much more than just replacing shingles. The new roof looks great, and is expected to offer superior protection from storms and hail.

Kyle also filed paperwork with our homeowners insurance, helping to make the paperwork easier for us.

Karl and his team at Balcone’s have been my go-to for 5 years! They’ve done my roof, painted my house, fixed my chimney, and the soffits under the roof as well as replaced my skylight and fixed a damaged ceiling. I love working with them. 5 stars!

Balcones did an amazing job with our roof replacement. Ours required the additional replacement of the decking (it having had five roofs on it previously), and all went well. It was done on time and on schedule, and the cleanup was impeccable, with special attention paid to not ruining any of the plants we had around the house. They did an excellent job matching the paint in the underneath parts that needed to be painted. They also were able to replace some old and not easily found skylights that had broken due to hail damage. I was overall very pleased with the Larsen brothers and the fine crew that they have.

Karl and crew were very professional, and didn't try to "push a sale" on a while roof replacement when we just needed a couple of minor repairs. They were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. We will definitely call Balcones Roofing & Remodeling when it is time for a new roof.

Karl, the company owner, went above and beyond for my husband and me. The company not only replaced our roof, but also painted the parts of our house that needed painting and also had some masonry work taken care of for us.

Karl was always checking the work being done and made sure everything was done to perfection. Karl gave us drone images of different stages in the work process. We really appreciated this footage. If we had any questions, Karl was always available to us and took care of any concerns we might of had.

had a small leak that was impossible for us to locate and called balcones for an inspection. they located the issue quickly, in a pipe boot and they were able to repair it as well as strengthen the other pipe boots to avoid future issues. easy to work with, excellent customer service and quality repairs. would recommend 100 percent.

This was our first experience getting a roof replaced on our house. Balcones Roofing made it easy - super communicative, always ready to answer questions, came out to do their inspections, came out again to meet with the 3rd party inspector hired by our insurance to make sure everything they saw was well documented. Insurance approved the replacement and Balcones Roofing came out and wrapped up by dinner time on install day. Great experience, would recommend to friends and family in the Austin area.
