This is an amazing company to partner with. Despite a few unintended setbacks they are 100 honest when it’s a chargeable repair or part of the warranty. They have been amazing to work with regardless of the situation and I would call their customer service a model for other companies to follow. I am very satisfied with Gorman Mechanical.

We used Gorman Mechanical to replace one A/C unit five years ago. So it was no question using them again.

Michael and his team are the best we have worked with. We have really old units and most people wouldn't even talk to us about a "repair". But these guys shoot straight so we replaced one unit that was just toast and they saved the day recently on a repair to the second unit. It's great to have an AC person/team you can trust.

Gorman has always given us great service. Jesse was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us lots of information on things we could do ourselves to keep our system running well. I recommend getting their service contract. It gives you two visits a year to check out your system as well as 15% off service and parts.

Jesse from Gorman Mechanical came to do a fall checkup on my heating system. Gorman installed a new system, ac and heating in the spring. Jesse was very patient and took the time to go over the thermostat again as I had a few questions. I highly recommend Gorman Mechanical and am well pleased with their pricing and attention to detail.

Gorman Mechanical was quick to respond to my call. They were great at communicating. When the technician came he was friendly, he answered all my questions, and took care of all our hvac needs. I will be using them from now on.

Setting up the appointment was easy and Michael is a superb sales consultant. He was able to give great advice on what we needed and what to expect and look out for even if we didn't use Gorman. I got 3 quotes and Gorman was much better not only in a great price, but also personality. Everyone I interacted with during the process was professional and very courteous. Connor and Austin installed the unit and did an outstanding job and were very careful to explain what I needed to know. It's obvious they take pride and care in their work and don't rush to finish. I'm very happy we chose to go with Gorman Mechanical for our A/C replacement and I'll highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Gorman installed 2 4-ton variable speed units in our home for 40% less than the cheapest quote I received from the other two competitors. Everything was installed professionally and worked smoothly from day one. Two months after installation, one of our units stopped functioning due to a clogged drip line. They sent someone to our home to fix it within 3 hours of my calling them. Top notch service, products and pricing!

Longtime customer but latest experience was the worst nightmare I have ever had with a company. Total, complete screwup and incompetence which left me with partially or fully malfunctioning AC system for almost two months in the middle of Texas summer. Problem started on June 7, 2025, and they are out here again today (July 29th) to make latest attempt to fix issue.

Had another company quote me a new system with a discount at $7203 for complete indoor and outdoor system. Wanted 2nd opinion before spending that amount of money so made the mistake of calling Gorman. They assured me it was just an evaporator coil issue and they could fix it for $4200. I took their word for it and got it done. AC system still wouldn't cool so called them back out. They said it was a dirty AC filter and charged me for a service call. House still didn't cool so called them again. This time they said it was just low charge in the system when evaporator coil was replaced. They recharged system and it still didn't work. Next call they said it might be a leak in the line. I had told them that I had roof replaced recently and they knew that from the start. Tech said he thought he saw where leak was coming from and would come back to do isolation test. They never came back for that and when I called the office they said the tech told them he knew where the leak was (not what he told me) and they quoted me a price to replace the line. Two techs came out to replace the line and feuded the whole time they were out here and were yelling at each other. Feuded so much they failed to get work done and left my house completely without AC for several days. The compressor outside then overheated (probably due to loss of coolant caused by their negligence). They told me they would have to replace it and now I am out even more money. I had to spend $400 to buy a portable AC unit just to be able to live in my house. In the end it cost me $1000 - $1500 more for parts with Gorman than it would have to buy a completely new system with new duct work, lines, indoor and outdoor system components, and would have had a 10 year warranty of the whole system. Gorman totally screwed me over and caused me incredible hardship during the Texas heat. Will never use these incompetent fools again.

Thank you so much to Stephen and Evan for coming out so quickly. Came home after a long day of work to my home at over 80 degrees! From my first call to the problem being fixed was less than an hour! A true life saver in this Texas heat. Thank you so much for being an honest and reliable company.

This company has been awesome! They gave us a fair deal on our new air con system a month ago, and when we had an issue just now, they were here immediately to see to it. Fortunately it was a quick fix. We would definitely recommend Conner and all the guys at Gorman Mechanical! Thank you!

We have used Gorman Mechanical for many years but we found out just how little they care about their clients the moment we had an issue with their service! Our HVACs were installed by them in 2019 and when one of them got clogged and dumped out onto our attic floor and flooded our ceiling in a closet we had them come out to inspect. The technician they sent out told us (thankfully we recorded the entire conversation) that whoever installed them, installed the pans incorrectly and that is why they dumped onto our ceiling! Gorman was at least 2 months behind schedule with our spring service and would have caught the clogged lines in plenty of time before it flooded our home if they had not delayed that service. (They have never kept very good track of that service even though we do pay extra for the annual service.). After sending them the video and photo evidence of what was found the owner asked to send another tech out to evaluate the units. The owner told us that the technician that was sent to our home “didn’t know anything” even though that tech said he had 40 years of experience and Gorman had hired him! The new tech showed up at our home randomly one day without an appointment but we let him in to check it out. He of course was told to keep quiet about the incident and said very little except repeated what the owner told us “probably” happened Instead. The owner was going on vacation and asked if he could call us when he returned. Maybe he died because I never heard another word from him🤷🏼‍♀️. Two weeks went by and I sent a message to the manager giving him more than 48 hours to agree to our terms for the repairs. (They have had over a month to help us with a resolution!). We asked them to pay for the Sheetrock repairs and we would pay for the carpet. We asked them to replace the plenum which busted because it held so much water for so long and to tilt our hvac units forward which was recommended by another hvac company (HART HVAC, who was really responsive and great btw!) we had out to inspect the units and give us an unbiased opinion of how our units were functioning. They also recommended adding two additional float switches since the water was never able to reach the float switches since the pans were not level. The total amount for repairs was less than $2,000. We have spent $40k on new units and repairs to multiple homes over the past 5 years and Michael, the owner, could not even be bothered to respond to our request to help cover half of the damage!! Unfortunately we had to file a lawsuit today against this company and we have never had to do that with a vendor we have been doing business with for 10 years!! Sadly, it isn’t until they were asked to accept responsibility for damages they caused that we realized they never cared about our business at all!! I would never recommend this company and instead, HART HVAC will now have my business for years to come!!

I’ve used Gorman Mechanical for the past 4 years on a variety of rental properties as well as my residence. They are always responsive, professional, and straight up about what needs to be a to be addressed. I have not found them to be like other HVAC firms where they only push new A/C installations. Give them a call, they are good people!

This place is incredibly overpriced and verified by the manufacturer! You can look around and do a hundred percent better. They actually ended up charging three times in the amount of the job!

One Hour Air has quality, caring, knowledgeable tech's. They take the time to explain the maintenance performed @ any issues. Very pleased with the quality of their work @ timelessness.
