Vivint is the home security I use. There was a malfunction with the new thermostat and its communication with the hvac. Vivint told me they would pay for the service and repairs and allow me to pick the company. I saw this one and the reviews and the Google guarantee and thought it'd be perfect. Called and spoke the most lack luster receptionist explaining I needed someone to come out and once I had the appointment I would turn the information over to vivint who would call and set up payment. She told me she'd return my call after speaking to the boss.
Called me back and said "he doesnt want to get in the middle of it". I ofcourse asked what the middle of what is. He doesnt want to accept payment from a third party. From me maybe but definitely not a corporate company with a much higher spending limit. I guess this is what happens when your receptionist sounds like a double for Daria in terms for personality and explains anything to you incorrectly.

When my wife and I purchased our first home in Kings Bend, Mr. Smalley again came to our rescue to replace a capacitor in our air conditioner. After moving back home to Mississippi in the 1980’s, anytime I had an air conditioning question I would call Mr. Smalley or his son Dewayne. When we built our dream home in Mississippi, I utilized Dewayne as a consultant to best determine the type of air conditioning to install. As a result of Dewayne’s sound advice, my electric bill during the summer for a 6,000 sq. ft. house, never exceeded $225.00. After purchasing a home in Plano, Texas in 2005, we decided to upgrade the downstairs air conditioning and heating system. Once again it was Smalley’s AC to the rescue. Dewayne and his crew took time out of their busy schedule to come to Plano and install a top of the line American Standard unit. This has resulted in a significant savings in our electric and gas bill. For almost 40 years, Smalley’s AC has been the ONLY AC company that has earned my complete trust. As long as they are in business, I will not use another AC company.
