Mike was outstanding. He provided me with clear explanations of his work and his approach. He was very efficient and provided a number of options. It was obvious that he is very experienced in the way he was methodical throughout the visit. I believe spending money in maintenance can extend the life of the entire system.

Our AC went out over the weekend prior to Memorial Day. After being stood up for a Sunday afternoon appointment with our longtime HVAC service provider I contacted Summit. They had someone at our home at 5pm and the technician quickly diagnosed the problem. Summit determined the control board was under warranty and had it installed on Tuesday morning.

Our air conditioner stopped working, and after turning it off in hopes that it had frozen and would defrost and work again, I continued to try to make it work for three days. It worked on and off, but mostly off. In desperation, I called Summit and had a very nice chat with someone who was able to send me a technician the next afternoon. Cameron arrived within a hour of the two hour window they gave me, and promptly diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain. He also quickly unclogged the drain, and the air conditioner is back on again! I had not expected such a rapid response, nor such an efficient repair. I also thought the cost was very reasonable. I have had numerous AC repair people out here over the last 25 years. I would rate Summit Air as best in class!

I had an outstanding experience with Summit HVAC in Austin and I can’t recommend them enough! Their technician, Mike A, went above and beyond to ensure my AC was running perfectly. From the moment he arrived, Mike was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the issue in a way that was easy to understand. His exceptional customer service made the entire process stress-free, and he took the time to answer all my questions with patience and care. Summit is lucky to have such a phenomenal technician, and I’ll definitely be calling them for any future HVAC needs!

Mike A came out for a service and was a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable, and answered the questions I had. He was able to fix an issue that he noticed during the service, as it was one of the things on the service list. I was so pleased, I went ahead and signed up for a service plan moving forward. I like working with tradesmen who know their craft, and feel I'm in good hands with this Summit & Mike.

Summit was the third company we asked to come out and diagnose our ac cooling issue. They will definitely be the first moving forward if we ever need anything. Summit saved us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fixes. I waited a little over a week to post this to ensure our ac was consistent in cooling and can say we are better than ever! So glad we found this company and happy our ac is finally working without having to spend thousands of dollars! Great experience, informative/experienced employees and they don’t try to push sales. I can’t praise today’s service enough. Mike Anderson was friendly, professional, transparent and above all he was competent. In addition to having an outstanding technician, I called with a request for routine service and Summit was able to have their best (I can only assume) tech on site in under 2.5 hours. Job well done at a great value (last service from another provider was twice as much 2 years ago!) Highly recommended

I called Summit on a Saturday at 4pm after another company canceled on us last minute. They sent out their tech Mike A. in an hour and he was able to troubleshoot the system but let us know that it would need to stay off overnight and they generally would come back on Monday but because it was hot and we have a baby in the house he came back on Sunday to finish checking out the system and getting the cold air blowing again. I cannot recommend Summit, and specifically Mike, enough.

Absolutely look no further for all things AC & Heating. This operation is arguably the best I’ve ever worked with. Design, service, consultation, you name it! I’d give 10 stars if I could! Matt runs a great organization!

Summit Air is amazing. When we moved to Texas we had them do our home inspection and they were so thorough and knowledgeable that we had them come back to put in a Mini Split for our garage. A few weeks ago our main AC unit needed fully replaced and they were our first call. While they may not be the cheapest option, their products and services are well worth it. Our downstairs unit had barely kept the house cool and they were able to recommend the type of unit that would work best since we have younger kids that open and close doors a lot. It's made a world of difference and we couldn't be more happy. Rich spent a lot of time explaining different models and the benefits of each before we made our selection. The techs were able to install the whole new system in one day as well.

Summit did a great job. Michael was able to get here early, was thorough in his assessment, and quickly addressed the issue. From first contact with the scheduler to completion of the work, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and knew what they were doing. Highly recommended. Will be using in the future.

We currently received service from Summit AC and Heating. Leonard was very professional and communicated well. He addressed all our concerns and even found a couple things that we were not aware of. I highly recommend Summit for any HVAC issues you may encounter, our service was excellent!

What can I say other than Michael and Nick with Summit are top tier. Michael was on time and was able to fix the issue, super helpful and got me back up in running in no time. Can’t recommend them enough. They are like the Chick Fi A of HVAC companies. Polite. Professional and up to the task.

Summit AC is always on time, professional, and quick with any maintenance or solutions. Today Mike Andersen serviced my two heat pumps, cleaned the drains, checked filters, and checked out the AC start up capacitors. $198 It’s always a better deal to maintain your AC units rather than panic when they fail and you have an Emergency and no cold air or heat. I recommend that you call them for annual service today! I’m an actual customer.

Senior Technician Michael did our semi-annual PM today. He was on time (awesome), got right to work, explained the service performed, provided feedback on filters and optional service enhancements, provided a detailed invoice and pictures of the equipment and answered all my questions. All done professionally. I would 100% recommend Summit and Michael.

I was having trouble with my AC unit so I researched well-reviewed, local companies, and ended up calling Summit. My issue ended up being more complex than originally thought. With Michael having to make multiple trips to my home and Nick, the General Manager, getting involved as well. To keep a long story short- they took care of me and have earned my business going forward. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Summit Air Conditioning are the subcontractors for Highland homes in here 6 Creeks. We purchased our home in October 2024 in which Summit completed our HVAC systems. Summit cut several corners in installing the air conditioning services that has left our ceiling molded. Summit placed our Plenum Box directly on our support beams without any insulation underneath to absorb the condensation according to Highland. Our Four Hands furniture has been completely destroyed throught the process. My family and I have been living in a nightmare which has caused us to be moved out of our brand new home. This has been going on for the past 6 months of not knowing what the problem was until the sheetrockwas removed. Our ceiling rippled for months with moisture (see attached photos). There are several Highland homes with this same issue with work performed by Summit. Please beware when using this company save your family the therapy. (See the attached photos).

Update 7/15/2025: I will not remove my review. We maintenanced our air conditioner just as Highland and the team from Summit Air instructed. It seems like there is a lot of finger pointing and lack of accountability. These are true photos of your work and you need to own it. If Summit Air did nothing wrong why would they come out to rebuild the box and properly set it on 6/18/25 a whole nine months after we closed. The pictures speak for themselves.
