Gavin from Climate Mechanical did an excellent job repairing my heater. He arrived on time, was very professional, and clearly explained the issue and the solution before getting started. His knowledge and attention to detail were evident throughout the service, and he worked efficiently to get everything running properly again. Gavin was courteous, respectful of my home, and made sure the system was functioning correctly before leaving. We have used Climate Mechanical for our HVAC residential needs for decades. Travis has taken care of us for the majority of the years. Outstanding service, always. Punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. Always look forward to seeing him. It’s nice to have the same service technician. Makes you feel like he has a vested interest in your home. When we remodeled our home and needed to reconfigure our HVAC duct work, Mike came over and looked at things, discussed his recommendations, and scheduled the work. We’ve used Mike and his HVAC team for years in Austin, and they’ve always been professional, reliable, and responsive. The system they installed six years ago still runs great thanks to their solid installation and ongoing maintenance.

Travis has helped us multiple times and even came out on a Saturday to save our Valentine’s dinner — courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The parts for the repairs ended up being under warranty as well which helps the pocketbook.

Greg is an exceptional service company. His consultative approach to helping me think through my needs was excellent. I never felt like I was being sold or pressured into anything. At the end of the day he seemed to be an honest, straightforward business man and someone I could trust. On top of that there were incredibly prompt and always did what they said they were going to do! Absolutely no negatives about the experience and that is rare to say these days.

Greg was highly responsive to my A/C problem. He returned my call immediately, and tried his best to accommodate a time that was convenient for me. I was very impressed with all these efforts. To my surprise I was even more impressed with Isaac who came right on time to repair my AC. He was well informed and answered all of my many questions.

Despite some minor damage done to walls, which Greg has told me they will repair, I am overall very satisfied with Greg and his team. They were able to come out same day, which is a rarity these days and when it was determined that I needed a system replacement they were able to come out within a day to get the work done. When there was an issue with the install, Greg personally came out to help solve the problem and get us back up and running asap in this brutal heat for a price that was about as reasonable as you will find. I have family in the AC biz back east and they confirmed that the price Greg was charging was extremely fair.

My only frustration is with the minor damage to the walls and the crew leaving a bit of a mess behind when leaving (some trash in the yard, trash cans left in the middle of the yard multiple times where they were pulled away from the house to access the AC unit.). But given everything else and assuming the damage is fixed as promised, the full 5 stars are warranted. Thanks for the quick turnaround Greg and team.

Just had Isaac come out to take a look at the system because it stopped running. He came out on the same day as the call and did an evening service. No nonsense repair for the blown capacitor. Rather than pushing extra sales he pointed out what to look for to ensure the motor is running properly, while warning about the age of the system (15 years now) and possible repair costs in the future that might make too costly and replacement more viable.

Overall very happy with the service.

Isaac is very thorough, and doesn’t mind explaining to me the process and diagnosis. I trust Greg’s Heating and Air, since my first service call over 2.5 years ago. They never try to upsell me, and are totally transparent. That’s rare.

Greg and his team just finished replacing all of our duct work in our upstairs attic. They came recommended by a neighbor. My husbands comment when they left: “for the first time, I feel like we received premium service from a home services company” and we have had numerous companies out to work on different aspects of our home. Greg knows what he’s doing and he takes the time to explain it all to his customers. I will only use them for HVAC needs in the future. I only wish I had found them sooner.

I called Greg for quotes on a new ac and heat system. Greg's team was professional and friendly. They were responsive and performed their initial evaluation of the home within a day of my call. They provided several options for a new system with several price ranges and brands. When they came to replace the unit, the job was done as anticipated and they left the area clean. They sent out a staff member for a final check and explained how to use the new thermostat and answer any questions. I believe I received a competitively priced unit that was installed quickly by kind staff. I would recommend this company.

Greg is probably the most responsive, punctual and friendly service professional we’ve met in Austin. We replaced insulation, installed ducts and vents, and had air purification added (highly recommended). Greg was thorough in his assessment and quote process. When we needed to talk, he answered immediately. Down to earth, friendly service throughout. His team was extremely professional, as well. We look forward to working with Greg for the duration of our home ownership here in Austin.

Greg's team installed new extended supply trunk, return air plenum, and 4-inch air filter and reworked the entire duct system to center and balance it and even out air flow and temperatures to all rooms.

Greg was very responsive when first contacted. He's very professional and honest and doesn't try to up-sell you on things you don't need like many larger companies do. My AC wasnt quite keeping up with the temps outside. I reached out to Greg's heating and air on yelp and had a response within 15 minutes. He had someone at my house 3 hrs later. The AC had a leak and needed a new part. Greg and his team were able to get the part and replace it within 3 days! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and quick with service. Highly recommend! And pricing was great!!

They were here really quick and seemed very professional. They had no issues answering the questions I have and let me know what was going on. They were very cooperative and transparent. I'll hire them again.

Greg's Heating and Air did a great job. I had Radiant come out to see what my problem was and long story short, they quoted approximately $8,000 and didn't do any work to try to fix my air condition but charged $178 to come to the house. I wanted to get a second opinion and I called Greg'a Heating and Air, they came out quickly fix the problem, checked the system, cleaned the system and charged me approximately $450 and the air condition was cooling and working when he left. An electrical problem was identified and Greg's Heating recommended a company for the job. I am very happy and will call them again if needed.

Isaac did our fall checkup on the furnace. He was here promptly as expected and was very efficient and knowledgeable. I will continue using Greg's Heating and Air.

As you can imagine technology has advanced in ac and attic .
So Greg and his team did a 2.O attic and ac overhaul.
Can't say enough positive things.
House is much more comfortable.
His team works well together.

I use Greg's for their biannual HVAC tune-up service, and it's always done with professionalism and friendliness. Twice a year they organize a visit to check up on the system, and give me their assessment (so far no issues found).

Our AC drain line was clogged and causing damaging leaks. Greg's guys made a valiant effort to clear it, but with no luck. Our options were to add a condensation pump or replace the line altogether, which meant going into the wall.

We really didn't want to have the wall torn out but also wanted the problem fixed right. Greg personally assured us the crew he had for this kind of work was experienced and top notch. He was not wrong.

The guys who showed up got straight to work, first preparing the work area for easy cleanup. They knew exactly where to cut to minimize the damage and make it easier to repair. And they reconfigured the drain line near our unit, adding an additional safety switch among other smart changes.

We'll be calling Greg again for our future heat and AC needs.
