Went to Moon Valley Nurseries today with my son in law after first going to Lowe’s. Besides the selection of plants being much better the expertise of the designer, Christopher Hall was amazing. He spent a lot of time with us and made great suggestions as to what we should plant. No high pressure sales talk. Very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Moon Valley and definitely Christopher as well.

We bought our house and needed to redo some of the landscaping, but I was so indecisive and overwhelmed because I had no clue where to start. Jeffrey made it so fun and helped get me together so I actually had a vision of how to transform my garden space into something beautiful and manageable. I will definitely be back to get the backyard in order with his help too!

Nice location! I was approached and assisted by Jeffrey. He was nice and patient with me and also helped me explore different options for my yard that I had never heard nor thought of before. Overall 5 stars and Jeffrey will have a life long customer! Thank you!

Stefani deserves a major shoutout!! She went above and beyond helping us at Moon Valley Nurseries and truly knows her stuff. She explained what was causing our plants to struggle and how to fix it, not just what to buy. She made everything stress-free and actually educational. Christian Hall at the Carrolton store was super helpful. Was able to get us a beautiful tree and they’re even going to plant it for us!! We will certainly be back and anyone who’s looking for trees should ask for Christian.

The Landscape Designer Reggie was first to greet me in the yard immediately upon arrival and was more than helpful. Got exactly what I needed and several recommendations to help with my project(s).

I love a sales person who isn’t just trying to make a sale but actually listens to what you’re looking for and gives you advice and time to make an educated decision. Rich and Magic were awesome! They took care of my husband and I with the best knowledge and experience we’ve had at any other nursery. Not only were they friendly and professional, they knew what was best to plant and were due to the sunlight exposure. Great team!

I recently moved to texas and connected with jeffery about how to care for the palms in my yard. He was super helpful and ,knowledgable. As we walked the property his creative gift and vision for the next phase began to flow of what could be. Excited to work with moon valley and jeffery in the future.

Christian at the Carrollton store was a big help! He did a great job with helping me decide on trees and where best to plant them. We are thrilled with the service, price, and follow through. The trees are awesome and look so great, as does my new rose bush! Will definitely be back!

Wow! Don't let the construction deter you from getting to Moon Valley Nurseries in Carrollton. I went exclusively on the 35 service road from Dalllas so it really was easy. This is not a big box store. Everyone I encountered was extremely knowledgeable. Their trees and shrubs are grown here in Texas so the plants are "used to" the clay soil here and temps. They will also plant your larger tree/shrub purchase for free!

They have design services and Jeffrey will come to your house and design your space based on exposure, shade etc. I hope he brings his lil' dog Teddy bc he alone is worth the visit! He also just handed me a cold water-how thoughtful!

They have another designer, Chase (assuming similar to what Jeffrey does) who expertly counseled me on how much mulch I would need and mentioned it would be no problem if I had too much and needed to return for refund or credit. I literallly felt like they all work as a supportive and happy crew and love what they do.

I was in great hands the whole time.

Stephanie who helped load the mulch (with the people I am mentioning here) impressed me not only for her strength and smile-but she was also happily pruning away as I left-after loading 25 bags in my car. They even left room for me to see out my back window. Unreal how kind and thoughtful.

Lastly, Chelsey, who might have been the manager, made the purchase process easy. I believe she said they warranty their plants (not sure time frame on that) and recommended how to plant and treat the soil area to reduce and eliminate shock while providing information for the healthiest and happiest plant outcome. She was very concerned about not wanting to dirty my car and all the necessary plastics were laid.

Again, every person I met was all about real advice, knowledge and assistance. I felt in excellent hands and the yard is huge and beautiful . They have everything from I liter plant pots all the way to mature big trees. They also have ceramic and clay decor. The variety is amazing.

I truly never wrote reviews but Moon Valley knocked it out of the park imo.

We recently purchased a number of shrubs and a tree from Moon Valley nursery. Our salesman was Chase and he was extremely helpful. He spent an extended amount of time helping us make our selections. After a fair negotiation on price, Chase previewed the area to be planted on two occasions. The first occasion he was stung by three wasps & kindly returned on a future day to finish the job. James, who headed the installation crew, was also very cordial, knowledgeable, & helpful when we moved the plants around to optimize the siting. We are very pleased with the results!

The staff is very friendly. Especially Reggie was the best 👍 in customer service that I ever experienced. The delivery was great, James who came out to install and explained how to care for the tree did a great job.
I will return again to buy more trees from these guys. James was great !

Stopped in at Moon Valley nurseries to get an idea for my front yard renovations. Jeffrey Brown greeted me immediately and took me on an entire tour of their yard. He was extremely helpful, offered suggestions and answered my questions with conviction.

Moon Valley has an extensive product line of almost everything you would need for your landscape, including small, medium, and fully mature trees, shrubs, outdoor pots and yard decorations. Ask for Jeffery!

Thanks so much to Ernesto and his crew! We selected a big, beautiful red oak and it looks amazing in our yard. From Ernesto making sure that everything was planted to my liking to Leighton operating the heavy equipment to Jacob overseeing the entire process was wonderful!

We stopped by this amazing nursery, and were lucky to meet the PM, Magic. He took care of us, gave us a really great in-depth introduction to in house plants. I’d highly recommend anyone to come get services here. Come find Magic! He will get your guys taken care of! We’ll come back for sure for more stuff!!!
