We had to call a plumber on Sunday night, Memorial Day weekend. Justin came out, was extremely nice and understanding. Got everything fixed in a hour or so and was extremely knowledgeable about our sink problem. Will definitely call them again for any problems we have. Hopefully all of their people are as professional, nice and knowledgeable.

Justin was great!!! He showed up on time, was highly professional, and got the job done! In addition, he was kind and thoughtful. Our house is listed and he took the time to ask about where we were moving and gave recommendations based on what we are looking for and the areas of town he has been to. Could not recommend more!!!

We feel Roto-Rooter took advantage of us during a home emergency. They told us they would work with our home insurance but never provided a clear quote. Instead, they had my husband sign a contract with blank pricing ranges, which they later filled in using different colored ink showing 7500 to 12500. The final mitigation bill came out to 17000, and only after pushing back did they agree to reduce it to 12500.

Their plumber also charged us 715 for a stoppage I cleared myself. Several pieces of mitigation equipment were faulty. Half the fans weren’t working, and the lift was down for nearly two days.

They gave us a payment due date but continue to send pushy follow-ups, which feels aggressive and unprofessional. This was our first emergency like this, and in hindsight, we should have waited for our insurance to send their own team. I strongly urge others not to sign anything without clear, written pricing and to be cautious of companies that exploit vulnerable families in crisis.

Absolutely thrilled to share a glowing review for Grant from Roto-Rooter Austin! He is hands down the best plumber we’ve ever worked with. Despite it being a Sunday, he showed up with minimal heads-up and tackled a long-standing drainage blockage issue in our kitchen sink that no one had been able to resolve. From the moment he arrived, Grant was professional, humble, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and discovered that the root cause was years of grease buildup toward the end of the sewage line. Unlike others who may have opted for a temporary fix, Grant was committed to a complete and lasting solution. He flushed and cleared the entire line, ensuring that everything was flowing properly again.

Throughout the process, he maintained a respectful and easygoing demeanor, patiently explaining what was going on and how he was addressing it. He worked cleanly, protected our space, and left no mess behind. There were no unnecessary upsells—just honest, high-quality service. He even gave us helpful tips on how to prevent future issues. Grant’s attention to detail, strong work ethic, and genuine care made a stressful situation completely manageable. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. We’ll be calling Grant for all our plumbing needs from now on. Highly recommend him and the Roto-Rooter Austin team if you want the job done right the first time!

Justin! Hands down best service we have had ever. Unfortunately we have had to have a lot of plumbing work done. It just goes to show that service is not lost. It’s an art form and Justin had it down pact. Just genuinely so kind and knowledgeable! Somebody give that man a raise to make sure his family is taken care of. I’m telling you, it’s an investment in your company!

Grant did a fabulous job! He was on-time (actually early!) Listened to everything I had to share with him about the problem before he began working. Explained what he was doing and why. Offered suggestions for maintenance. Recommended "free scoping" and did the scheduling for me. He cleaned up everything before he left.

As a first-time caller, I received excellent customer service right away from Roto-Rooter Plumbing. Very friendly and helpful, and they kept me updated on the technician’s expected arrival time. Joaquin performed my drain cleaning with professionalism, efficiency, and evident expertise. Overall, the service exceeded expectations.

Came a day later than what was scheduled.

Plumber said they don’t work on a certain brand of water softener and charged $60 for that . Most plumbing services offer this as part of free consultation.

Our plumber, Larry Belding, came to our house early on a Sunday morning to address our hot water heater that was spewing water all over the house. He was very professional and respectful. His work was meticulous and we were very pleased.

I really needed them to come out! I took off work for the window 5pm-9pm. It was really hard to get off. They lied and said the tech was coming and said if they needed to come at 10 they would.. A little after 9pm they called to reschedule. I can’t the rest of the week and don’t know when i’ll be able to reschedule. I was not ok with them coming at 10 because o had to get up early the next morning. and was willing to do so and stay up!!
This was extremely important for them to keep their word and it didn’t happen. A sorry just won’t cut it this time. it’s no excuse when they take 4 hours of your time and in my case working. I don’t have pto so when i don’t work i don’t get paid. No matter what you show up!!!

Roto-Rooter technicians Larry and Justin are outstanding professionals.
They both presented vast knowledge, good customer relation skills.

I’ve used Roto-Rooter several times, and they always send somebody that’s very knowledgeable and gets the job done. Their staff is always courteous. Grant fixed my sink quickly and saved me time and money!

Eric Jeter came and installed a new dishwasher that we purchased at Lowes. He was prompt, polite, very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job installing . He was so helpful, showed us everything we needed to know about how to properly use the new dishwasher and he was also friendly, a joy to have him in our home. We will be using this provider again for sure .

We are always happy with the job that Fairway Plumbing does. They are the ones we always think of when we need any kind of plumbing or repairs or service. We have used their services for more than 20 years. Friendly, honest and experienced employees. Wouldn’t use anyone else!

Cliff did a fantastic job. Very professional and friendly. The problem was different than my guess and he worked at least 5 hours longer than I’m sure he expected.
He did great work and the price was extremely reasonable especially considering how much he had to do.

Fairway installed a dishwasher for us several years ago and did a good job. That’s what made us think to call them when we needed a new water heater. They contacted us right away, were at our house when they said they were going to be. Did an excellent job for a fair price. We will use them again.
